“One of the best holiday cottages we've ever had” Could not fault this cottage or the host - even our dog had a friend to play with! Friendly welcome, cottage immaculate and easily kept clean, very well situated for town amenities and forest for dog walking, loads of active sports in area to keep kids and dad occupied. Owner even apologised for the weather but it didn't stop us doing anything.

“Loved it!” Very spacious cottage, wonderful situation, loads of history and wildlife and when the sun shines it couldn't get any better. We visited Kilmartin archaeological museum, Arduaine Gardens, Luing & Easdale Islands as well as Oban. When we felt lazy we simply sat in the garden listening to the sea and watching for what wildlife might appear. We did see an otter and others have seen dolphins - magic!

“A Home from Home” Seaburn Cottage is a gem. The cottage has everything you need for a self-catering stay in Arran. The fresh eggs were a welcome and thoughtful start to our trip. We have stayed in several properties in Arran but Seaburn is the best so far. We would return without hesitation.

“Perfect in every way! Even our cat had a ball!” Sandytoes cabin is a cosy, comfortable and welcoming home from home located in Sandyhills Holiday Village. The beach is minutes away and it is perfectly situated for trips to lots of different towns and attractions. Castle Douglas has lots of independent retailers and places to eat! Dumfries is great for shopping. Holly, the owner , is so kind and helpful! We brought our cat with us and Holly left a pack of Dreamies for her. Lovely little touches all round the cabin, which is beautiful! Everything you could possibly want or need in a holiday home is there. The badgers are so entertaining too! We loved our "badgerwatch" every night! They love croissants and peanut butter , by the way! This was the perfect break for our wee family with very comfortable accommodation. Loved it so much we booked to come back in 3 weeks time! Thanks, Holly!

“Fantastic cottage in a great location” Perfect cottage for a fantastic holiday. Just a couple of things, the kitchen is so full of the owners own food that there is no space for ours! Also, the bedroom could do with a full length mirror, otherwise would definitely return.

“A delightful old cottage” This is a real gem of a cottage for up to 5 people. The location in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife is perfect for exploring the delights of the Kingdom of Fife. The cottage itself is full of charm with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Nice open plan lounge and dining room and a powerful shower in the bathroom. We were 3 golfers and this cottage was ideal - only 5 minutes from Elie GC, 15 minutes from Crail GC and 20 minutes to St Andrews. Julie the owner is an excellent host and took care of all our arrangements with a very friendly and warm hospitality. This is a place that I would recommend 100%

“Fantastic holiday home.” Booked this holiday home for myself, my husband and our 3 children. The owners of the property were very helpful from the moment we enquired about booking all the way through the process. Lovely people very friendly and helpful even when we were staying at the property. The property it’s self is fantastic it was immaculate all the way through. Very clean and well presented. They have thought of everything even down to leaving some outdoor games for our children to enjoy. Fantastic!! The en-suite was a bonus aswell. The hot tub is fantastic and lovely to sit in in the evening with the lights on in the hot tub. The kids loved it. We will definitely be booking this property again. All round fantastic.

Townhouse accommodation in Scotland with golf nearby

St. Andrews townhouse

  • 4 bedrooms
  • 3 bathrooms

“Amazing views and lovely house” These are surely some of the best views in St Andrews from both front and back of the house. The house is clean, well equipped and stylish and very comfortable. It is only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and town centre (5-10mins if that) so the location is excellent. East sands is closest but West sands are only 10-15mins walk along the seafront. Open plan nature of the first floor sitting and kitchen area is great. St Andrews is a great location and there is more to it than just the golf!

“Great Cottage in an amazing setting” Really impressed with the way Isobel and Ken were waiting for us with a starter pack of food and a bottle of wine and flowers. Ecellant cottage, very well equipped. We wanted to be a bit remote and the little hamlet overlooking the Loch was lovely. Some good walks from lots of information in the cottage. We spent hours just sitting on the bench overlooking the Lock watching the birds and boats. Excellent holiday would stay again if we are on Lewis in the future

Scotland holidays

Run away to wild Scotland, a country of mighty crags, ancient cities and fierce tradition. From the rolling borderlands at the foot of the Cheviot hills, Scotland rises past lochs, firths and fells into the imposing Highlands. More remote still, its famed islands invite you to escape the bustle of modern life, even if just for a while.

Rich History

Through skirmishes with the Vikings and centuries of war with England, Scotland has developed a strong national identity that’s easy to see in its historic cities. Edinburgh Castle dominates the skyline of Scotland’s capital, having survived 26 sieges in the course of its 1,100-year history.

Conquer The Wild

The lochs, hills and Highlands of Scotland are paradise for the outdoors enthusiast. Thousands of trails exist to coax you into the mountains with your camping gear. If that sounds more exhausting than relaxing, cottages and log cabins in Scotland are a great way to appreciate nature without needing a bath afterwards.

Local Delicacies

Scotland has more to offer the gastronome than the deep-fried Mars bar (but naturally you’ll want to try that too). Whisky connoisseurs will feel at home wherever they travel—there are world-famous distilleries in the Highlands, islands and lowlands alike. The single island of Islay has no fewer than eight.

Cliscro
Fabulous stay in our favourite place

Once again we loved spending a week at Cliscro. The house is a perfect size for us and our 2 dogs. The garden is enclosed and it is so valuable to be able to let them out and know they’re safe. We will be back! … see more

Beautiful cottage

Having stayed in Acorn cottage many times and always in Acorn cottage when in the Fort William area, we would not go to the trouble of looking for anywhere different as we have tried many others in that area, but never found one as good as Acorn,we are going again in September. Fantastic place to relax!

A return visit for us and this house never fails to impress! Very comfortable and cosy, thoughtfully decorated and great quality furnishings and linens. Everything you need is there. The view from the house is beautiful and as we had a couple of wet and windy days, we spent lots of time just watching the waves crash above the harbour walls! Fabulous walks from the house and lovely places to visit nearby. Local Seafield Hotel serves delicious and well presented food and is worth a visit. Excellent renting experience

We had a splendid stay at the Murano apartment. Very cozy, well equipped, tidy, close to the city center, a lovely owner ready to help at any time. Plenty of interesting places and shops in the neighborhood as well. Nothing to complain about, we’re already agreed within the group to book it for our next trip to Edinburgh.see more
