“Lovely location and accomodation” Excellent location and very easy access by train and car. The apartment was lovely and had everything that could be needed for self catering and more. When the sun was shining it was lovely to be able to sit on the terrace and feel the warmth of the sun with a view of the landscape ahead. Enjoyed being so close to Rye for getting to rummage in the many antique shops and super places to eat. Would definitely hope to stay again.

“Fabulous cottage, great location, perfect break.” The cottage is immaculate, light, airy, quiet and totally relaxing. Its a 5-8 minute walk to your choice of two unbelievably picturesque beaches one with a good resturant/pub. Lots of great hiking around the hills and coastal path direct from your door. Newport and Fishguard are a ten minute drive away. We will be returning in the autumn if we can wait that long! Thanks to Mike our host who gave us good local advice and was a relaxed and genrous host. Five star all the way.

“Good accomodation = Good holiday” Really nice cottage, bedrooms particularly spacious there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was well equipt with more than enough bits and pieces and the welcome supplies were really useful. It was very well located, just minutes walk from the shops and local attractions, we didn't even use the car some days and Torquay harbour was only 10 minutes in the car. The only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathroom could do with retiling / decorating, but other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again next time we holiday in Devon.

“Can't wait to rebook for next year!” Immaculate little bungalow, could not have been cleaner. Fully equipped with everything we possibly could have needed. Lovely sun trap garden with built-in BBQ, as we have a young daughter we couldn't spend evenings out & about so put the BBQ to good use & enjoyed al fresco dinners as much as the rain allowed. Very handy short cut down to the middle of the beach just a short stroll away. Easy walk in to the village too. Being greeted by the owner on arrival was a very nice & useful surprise! Couldn't recommend this place enough, can't wait to go back.

“Excellent, spacious holiday home with fantastic onsite facilities.” Our stay was for 10 nights as a family group of 4 adults and a dog, therefore we required plenty of space. The lounge, kitchen and dining area were fully equipped and had lots of space for everyone to cook, eat and relax comfortably. The 4 bedrooms were all light and spacious with large comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The three bathrooms were also equipped to a high standard. The whole property exceeded our expectations. The onsite facilities were fantastic, with everything from pitch and putt golf to evening bingo at the pub. The pools, gym and fitness classes were also second to none. We throughly enjoyed our holiday in Cornwall and stay at Atlantic Reach, we will definitely return next year. Thank you Miss Lee Morgan

Bourton-on-the-Water cottage

“Great location, full of charm, all I wanted and needed.” My Husband and I loved Well Cottage. The booking arrangements were easy and clear. Dawn was available to answer any questions and made us feel very welcomed. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. Walking from the cottage we were 2 minutes to the river and less than 5 minutes to town- but felt far away from the sometimes busy village because of the location at the end of a dead end road. The peace and quiet was a surprise. We have stayed at other locations in Bourton on the Water and always heard cars or people. Not the case with Well Cottage- it was extremely quiet. Mornings I was woken by birds not cars. I would defiantly recommend this property- we will be returning on our next trip to the Cotswolds.

“Charming, cosy and delightful.” Robins Nest is perfectly located - it is in walking distance of all the quaint little shops and pubs in Bourton on the Water. The cottage itself was spacious, warm and very cosy -. everything you would want from a quintessential English county cottage. We took a nice stroll to Lower Slaughter and sampled cream teas from The Slaughters Country Inn, which was worth every penny. We also visited Stow-on-the Wold, Evesham, Pershore and Broadway. We had a great time, including Pete, our Jack Russell, who was in no way left out. By the way, the food at The Duke of Wellington, Bourton on the Water was very good!

Central London/Zone 2 apartment

“Great apartment!” We recently had the good fortune to find this apartment at 30 Lillie Road in Fulham, London. We were 3 adults and 2 young children in our party and we could not be happier with our choice. First of all the owner Amy was just wonderful, she was there to meet us on our arrival, and showed us around the apartment. The apartment has everything you need, lots of towels,(a very large bathroom, quite modern) clean bed linens and comfortable beds. We were surprised at how large and spacious the apartment was, kitchen,a very big dining/ living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. The furniture is not fancy but it was comfortable and more than enough. Flat screen TV in the living room and there is WIFI so you can use your computer etc. The heating worked very well, it was quite cold in February and we had a 4 year old and a young baby with us so that was a big relief. There is also a washing machine and dryer and the kitchen was quite well equipped. One of the best things about the apartment is it's location. The number 74 bus stops almost at the door, this bus takes you into Knightsbridge (Harrods and all the great stores) It is about a 3 minute walk to the underground station, from here you can go anywhere in London, there is also the London Overground at the same station. You cannot beat the location for seeing London! Would we stay there again, YES without a doubt. The price is very reasonable, certainly the best value we have found in a long time. By the way someone wrote a review saying that this apartment was underground, this is NOT true, it is a lower level apartment (lots of them in the older houses in England) the living room has French doors that open out into the garden, the kitchen also opens out into the garden. All the rooms have windows. Just had to add that in case anyone reads the other review. A great find, we will recommend it to all our friends and we hope to go back there soon.

“A Wonderful Cottage in a Wonderful Area” We visited in March 2012 and found the cottage very clean and comfortable and warm, it suited our needs exactly. The beds were very comfortable, with beautiful views from the front bedrooms. The bathroom was very large, with loads of hot water. The lounge/diner was also very comfortable, cosey and warm, the kitchen was quite adequate with everything to hand (liked the fact that it had a nice selection of cleaning materials). The small garden at the back was very pleasant and would imagine it to be a beautiful place to sit in the warmer weather. The area itself is outstanding, beautiful walks and not too far from local villages and towns. The cottage is suited to walkers, cyclists and families that want a quiet value for money break. We are hoping to return later in the year!!

“All you need, clean tidy and presentable” Stayed at Tuckers retreat during Feb half term 2015 with my wife and 2 teenage boys and our small dog. The accommodation is excellent, everything we needed and even that which we didn't, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi large TV plus TV in the main bedroom. 2 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Boys made good use of the well heated swimming pool which features jacuzzi and water jets. Owners Sue and John made us very welcome supplying complimentary milk and some eggs which you can buy for a £1 when you run out. Good walk from the house to Fremington Quay which tired out the dog on a daily basis. Good area to explore too, recommend Clovelly, Lynton and Lynmouth and the Valley of Rocks. Would love to go back one day, its faultless.

The cottage is immaculate and Sue and her staff were wonderful. Our stay was over Christmas and they were so thoughtful to have set up a decorated Christmas Tree in the cottage. The house is a fantastic venue for a big get together, and we loved making the most of the tennis court, big lawns, great big dining room table, and the very well appointed kitchen. “Self Catering in Luxurious Accommodation” A 2 bedroom cottage decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Upstairs the bedrooms were very spacious with excellent double fitted wardrobes and the bathroom was fully tiled and well fitted out. The kitchen had all appliances, crockery and utensils required and was well laid out. Living room had 2 reclining sofas, flat screen tv, books, dvd's, radio and the decor was excellent. There was a small courtyard off the kitchen with a table and 4 chairs which we used daily to enjoy the sunshine while having a refreshment. We were given a warm welcome by Karen and she gave us a rundown of facilities in the area. There was also a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. It is only a 15 min. walk into the Chester along the canal or there is an excellent bus service with the bus stop just outside the mews. The car was parked up except when we visited the coastal resorts of Wales.

“Gorgeous, Cosy, memorable stay in October” My husband and I stayed at Bakers Cottage for a long weekend with friends. From the moment we emailed the owner, Jo, our experience could not have been better. Jo was quick to get back to us, meticulous in providing us with all the information we needed regarding our stay, and altogether lovely to book through. As far as the cottage goes, I cannot praise it enough. The home is decorated beautifully- lots of lovely little touches that you usually do not get when renting a holiday home. The cottage has absolutely everything you would need from DVD's and games, to books, toys, twinkly lanterns and even a lovely chilled bottle of wine in the fridge! The heart of the cottage is the dining kitchen, which is a wonderfully comfy place to sit, chill out, chat and eat dinner. I imagine that in the summer months, it is lovely to sit with the doors open onto the private yard outside. The location of the cottage is perfect- a genuine 10 minute stroll into the city centre. However, there are plenty of lovely, local cafes and pubs- The Ship Inn beside the river, and a particular mention to the 'Brown Sugar' cafe, just a 5 minute walk towards town, the owners were welcoming and the food was delicious- we had a lovely sunday morning brunch there. Handbridge has a lovely village type feel to it. In summary, my husband, friends and I had a really wonderful stay here. Thankyou Jo, we will definately return!

“Great location” We have just got back from holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for us to travel to various beaches within 20minutes. A quiet village and very well equipped cottage. Unusual to have a good sized TV and Sky as most cottages we have stayed in do not have this. The Kitchen was also well equipped with all the utensils that you need if you are cooking for a family. The owners were very helpful and met us and showed us around on arrival. “Perfection in Dorset” Five of us (two couples and a dog) have just returned from a wonderful week in The Bothy. From start to finish the experience has been nothing short of fabulous. Situated in the small but perfectly formed village of Broadwindsor, where there’s a great local pub (The White Lion) serving fresh, tasty pub grub and a delightfully friendly community local shop. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. All you can see is green. All you can hear are sheep, cows and the birds singing. The Bothy itself is absolutely charming with a real country cottage feel. It’s wonderfully well equipped and everything was spotless, comfortable and it felt like a real home from home. The Leader family who live next door are very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. They also have a menagerie of delightful animals. One of our favourite pastimes while we were there was going to feed the goats, Vietnamese pot bellied pigs and the friendly ewes in the field. It’s been an incredibly chilled out and relaxing week, despite the fact that we’ve experienced all four seasons weather-wise! The weather however didn’t stop us from enjoying the surrounding areas of West Bay, Bridport (great market on Saturdays), Lyme Regis (a seaside resort not to be missed) and if you want to treat yourself book in for lunch at Hix Oyster & Fish House which serves fabulous fish with an amazing view over Lyme Bay and the Jurassic Coastline. We nipped over the border to Devon to Seaton and stopped off for a great pub lunch in the picturesque village-by-the-sea of Beer at The Anchor. On our last night we visited The New Inn in the nearby village of Stoke Abbott. Amazing! The food and service were fantastic. It’s more ‘gastro pub food’ than The White Lion with prices to reflect that. However the food was beautifully cooked and prepared. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a holiday in this gorgeous cottage in an incredibly picturesque part of the country. You do need to have a car unless you don’t want to venture further than the village. And there’s a downstairs bedroom, which is great for anyone unable to climb stairs. I can't wait to go back!!

“Perfect London Base for Family” Our Australian family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers stayed at this lovely London apartment for 8 nights in late September/early October, 2012. It was in a perfect location and satisfied all our family's needs. Bloomsbury is a refined, safe area within easy walking distance of 2 tube stations - Russell Square and Chancery Lane. We used Russell Square most and also did our grocery shopping at the Brunswick Centre, opposite the station. All of London seemed to be at our fingertips via the tube, though we enjoyed our walks around Bloomsbury, to the British Museum and Covent Garden. The apartment itself was delightful and situated on the two floors above the owners' business, so security felt even greater during the day. There were 44 steps leading up to the apartment and 14 stairs between the apartment's two levels. There was no elevator. All rooms in the apartment felt spacious and homely and there was lots of natural light. Bedding was comfortable, cleaning of a good standard and storage space was ample. Wifi connection we found worked best in the living room, which also had plenty of handy maps and books for reading about London's attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family of five. Noise levels at night were absolutely minimal. Fantastic! Communication, booking and check-in were very easy and we found the owners, Melissa and Robert, professional, flexible and reliable. We would highly recommend 22 John Street as a comfortable family base to explore all the wonders London has to offer.

Accommodation in very good position with excellent views over the estuary, ample car parking, fortunate to have our border collie with us. Both him and us thoroughly enjoyed the walks and evening stroll to the dog friendly eating establishments. United Kingdom holidays

The United Kingdom is like a delicious, four-course dinner: each dish has its own distinctive flavour, but together, they create an unforgettable experience. From Scotland’s dramatic landscapes and England’s country lanes, to the lush valleys of Wales and rugged coast of Northern Ireland, prepare to be dazzled by all the UK has to offer.

Historic Cities

The United Kingdom boasts an array of cities to explore, all with different personalities. The ancient city walls of York and Chester reveal the England of medieval times, while industrial powerhouses-turned-nightlife-hubs like Manchester, Glasgow and Liverpool celebrate the UK’s technological pedigree. Other jewels include captivating Edinburgh, cosmopolitan Cardiff, historic Canterbury and delightful St David’s, the UK’s smallest city.

Quiet & Quaint

While the honey-coloured cottages and historic market towns of the Cotswolds never fail to win over visitors, seclusion can be found in many other corners of the UK. There’s the pure, soul-stirring beauty of England’s Lake District and Wales’ Snowdonia National Park, or the Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Coast To Coast

As an island nation, the UK seaside has a special place in the hearts of its inhabitants. Traditional amusement arcades and donkey rides are best enjoyed in resorts like Blackpool, Scarbrough and Skegness. For quiet coves and incredible seafood, Cornish towns like Padstow are rivalled only by the unbelievable beaches and produce of Scotland.

Tree Tops Lodge - The Forest of Dean - HOT TUB
Stunning winter views

We arrived for my partners 50th birthday to a fairy lit lodge, where apple juice and cookies were left as a welcome. Kelly has made the lodge feel warm and welcoming. It has lovely touches like the hot tub, gas fire and little things like sanitary products and a hairdryer. The only down side to visiting the lodge in January is that ALL attractions are shut along with all the pubs in the local area. So we had to go much further afield, but all in all it was a wonderful stay. Maybe the mattress could have been much comfier but to wake to those frosty winter morning views were lovely.see more

Great communication with hosts pre and during stay, pictures don’t do it justice. Layout was perfect for holiday with 3 generations of family giving the grand parents a floor to themselves so not disturbed by 3 and 6 year old. Garden ideal for kids, enjoyed it so much we considered buying neighbouring property that was for sale but wasn’t kept to same standard as this one. Fantastic, spacious house in lovely location. Stayed here for Christmas and New Year with my two daughters and three grandchildren. Plenty of room for everyone and the host, Gwen, had decorated the property with fairy lights and a Christmas tree, which made it very festive and welcoming. We all had a great time and there is some stunning scenery in the surrounding area. Gwen was an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating, being quick to respond to enquiries and providing some extras to make our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!see more
