“Cosy, neat and has all the amenities you would need. Great place!” We stayed at the cottage house garden around Christmas time and what a great place it is. Denis had the place looking very nice for us and even had Christmas decorations set up which shows the extra yards he will go to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Loved the fire place which we put to good use. The cottage is in a very tranquil location but is still very close to Irvinestown and Enniskillen allowing you to go site seeing and shopping very easily. I would highly recommend the garden house cottage for anyone looking for some great accommodation. We will definitely be back!

“Fabulous cottage, great location, perfect break.” The cottage is immaculate, light, airy, quiet and totally relaxing. Its a 5-8 minute walk to your choice of two unbelievably picturesque beaches one with a good resturant/pub. Lots of great hiking around the hills and coastal path direct from your door. Newport and Fishguard are a ten minute drive away. We will be returning in the autumn if we can wait that long! Thanks to Mike our host who gave us good local advice and was a relaxed and genrous host. Five star all the way.

Torquay cottage

“Good accomodation = Good holiday” Really nice cottage, bedrooms particularly spacious there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was well equipt with more than enough bits and pieces and the welcome supplies were really useful. It was very well located, just minutes walk from the shops and local attractions, we didn't even use the car some days and Torquay harbour was only 10 minutes in the car. The only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathroom could do with retiling / decorating, but other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again next time we holiday in Devon.

Barnstaple cottage

“Practically perfect in every way!” The amount of space and different things to do either on the farm or within easy driving instance made Combrew Farm an ideal place to stay for all three generations of our family. We found all the facilities we could have wished or including power showers and well furnished rooms for the older members of the family to any numbers of small animals for the kids to feed with any leftover food! Fitness conscious children were able to play tennis and badminton (rackets supplied!), swim against the current in the indoor pool and generally keep fit in the small gym. Overall a resounding success, in no small part due to Sue, the welcoming owner.

“Great location.” The cottage was everything we could ever want in a holiday let and then some. It was clean, warm and very comfortable. Lot's of little touches to make our stay one of the best we've had in Scotland. The location was great for exploring the wonderful Isle of Skye and also the mainland, Fantastic view from all the windows of the Skye Bridge, passing boats and seals swimming around,

England holiday cottage rental

Beadnell cottage

3 bedrooms • 3 bathrooms • sleeps 7

“Fabulous holiday cottage, ideal location” One of the best equipped holiday cttages we have ever stayed in. Everything was provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kids loved finding the toy cupboard and colouring box. The cottage is a pleasant 10 minute walk to Beadnell Harbour beach, (which is very secluded when Bamburgh and Seahouses are being blasted by on-shore winds). The village is very pleasant (although the little cafe has closed down). We managed one night out while Grandma babysat, at the Mizen Head fish restaurant in Bamburgh, which was also excellent. The cottage is very safe with a fully enclosed rear garden making it ideal for young children. We have already booked for next year!

“Fantastic house in beautiful location!” Stayed here with extended family, including young children and found it to be the perfect place for a big get-together. Accomodation was spacious, yet cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. The house is well appointed to cater for large groups, with a large dining room and plenty of bathrooms. The village was quaint and lovely to walk around. We made use of the local playground for the children, and found the local post-office to be convenient for basic supplies. Nearby Tetbury was a delight to visit, great to browse the boutiques and antique market. Would definitely recommend staying here, it's great value for money.

Bourton-on-the-Water cottage

“Great location, full of charm, all I wanted and needed.” My Husband and I loved Well Cottage. The booking arrangements were easy and clear. Dawn was available to answer any questions and made us feel very welcomed. The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable. Walking from the cottage we were 2 minutes to the river and less than 5 minutes to town- but felt far away from the sometimes busy village because of the location at the end of a dead end road. The peace and quiet was a surprise. We have stayed at other locations in Bourton on the Water and always heard cars or people. Not the case with Well Cottage- it was extremely quiet. Mornings I was woken by birds not cars. I would defiantly recommend this property- we will be returning on our next trip to the Cotswolds.

“Charming, cosy and delightful.” Robins Nest is perfectly located - it is in walking distance of all the quaint little shops and pubs in Bourton on the Water. The cottage itself was spacious, warm and very cosy -. everything you would want from a quintessential English county cottage. We took a nice stroll to Lower Slaughter and sampled cream teas from The Slaughters Country Inn, which was worth every penny. We also visited Stow-on-the Wold, Evesham, Pershore and Broadway. We had a great time, including Pete, our Jack Russell, who was in no way left out. By the way, the food at The Duke of Wellington, Bourton on the Water was very good!

“Easter Delight !!” My husband & I & our dog had a wonderful Easter stay at Hog Cottage. The welcome hamper on arrival had all the essentials & also some treats as did the one for our dog, much appreciated & a lovely gesture. The cottage itself is a wonderful old cottage yet with plenty of space & light. There was everything you could possibly think of in the kitchen even including a draw with spare light bulbs, candles, batteries, poo bags, you name it they had it. There where lights left on for our arrival which was nice & cheery as we arrived in rain & the coal effect living flame gas fire was convenient but felt ‘real’ & cosy. I loved all the candles that could be lit too, that added to the atmosphere. The stairs are quite steep, typical for a cottage of that age but not a problem with the hand rail. The bedrooms where fresh & inviting. The master bedroom had a tv which we didn’t watch as we brought our IPad with us so the free Wi-Fi was useful for that. After a long day exploring the bed was soft, inviting & comfortable. I liked how big the bathroom was, a separate shower is always a bonus & it was strong & powerful. The front of the cottage has gardens & you are able to sit out & enjoy the views down into Wirksworth. The back is more a yard but handy for letting the dog out at night. I know on the website you are forewarned about the parking but I (even being a woman) did not have a problem, yes it’s a steep hill with a sharp turn but once outside the cottage its flat & easy to park against the wall. We were in & out each day & parked at the cottage each time but if you can’t manage it there is parking just at the bottom of the road which is fine too. Wirksworth town, is quaint & interesting with lots of little shops & pubs, the pubs are all dog friendly. The people are very warm & welcoming too, we chatted to a few locals & they told us different interesting things about the area. The trek to the Maltshovel from the cottage is a must but a little tip, google what a ‘snicket’ is first if you don’t know, could save you a bit of time. Matlock & Matlock Bath with all the bikers & The Heights of Abraham is a nice walk as is Carsington Water. We would have loved to do more but we were only a way for the 3 nights. Hog Cottage is definitely worth a visit, thank you for a relaxing special time!

“A Wonderful Cottage in a Wonderful Area” We visited in March 2012 and found the cottage very clean and comfortable and warm, it suited our needs exactly. The beds were very comfortable, with beautiful views from the front bedrooms. The bathroom was very large, with loads of hot water. The lounge/diner was also very comfortable, cosey and warm, the kitchen was quite adequate with everything to hand (liked the fact that it had a nice selection of cleaning materials). The small garden at the back was very pleasant and would imagine it to be a beautiful place to sit in the warmer weather. The area itself is outstanding, beautiful walks and not too far from local villages and towns. The cottage is suited to walkers, cyclists and families that want a quiet value for money break. We are hoping to return later in the year!!

“Perfect family holiday in a beautiful location” We stayed here in November with my children who are 22,23 and 26 along with grandparents too! We had such a wonderful stay, the house is plenty big enough to escape for peace when you want it but also to cosy up next to the log fire together. We could not recommend this lovely holiday more. We have been twice now and have loved it both times. The decor is beautiful and everything is done to such a high standard! Jane, the lady who owns the property is attentive, warm and helpful! We will definitely be returning again! You will not be disappointed with your stay!

“All you need, clean tidy and presentable” Stayed at Tuckers retreat during Feb half term 2015 with my wife and 2 teenage boys and our small dog. The accommodation is excellent, everything we needed and even that which we didn't, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi large TV plus TV in the main bedroom. 2 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Boys made good use of the well heated swimming pool which features jacuzzi and water jets. Owners Sue and John made us very welcome supplying complimentary milk and some eggs which you can buy for a £1 when you run out. Good walk from the house to Fremington Quay which tired out the dog on a daily basis. Good area to explore too, recommend Clovelly, Lynton and Lynmouth and the Valley of Rocks. Would love to go back one day, its faultless.

“A home away from home!” This was our 2nd stay at Combrew Farm in Courtyard Cottage and it was every bit as delightful as the first time. The cottage is immaculate and Sue and her staff were wonderful. Our stay was over Christmas and they were so thoughtful to have set up a decorated Christmas Tree in the cottage. Everything you could possibly need for an extended stay was provided. It really does feel like a home away from home and we will be back!

“A beautifully maintained Derbyshire cottage close to some fantastic sights” Candlelight Cottage is extremely well appointed, and owners Simon and Jill have really thought of everything to make the stay as comfy as possible. We're not ramblers but used it as a base to explore, and enjoyed the Tideswell food fair, plus Chatsworth and Haddon Hall - all in a rare window of sunshine. Extremely comfy bed, loved the kitchen with Aga, and the fact that the Red Lion is a stone's throw away. Tall people watch out for the beams, but it's all part of the cottage's charm.

“Self Catering in Luxurious Accommodation” A 2 bedroom cottage decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Upstairs the bedrooms were very spacious with excellent double fitted wardrobes and the bathroom was fully tiled and well fitted out. The kitchen had all appliances, crockery and utensils required and was well laid out. Living room had 2 reclining sofas, flat screen tv, books, dvd's, radio and the decor was excellent. There was a small courtyard off the kitchen with a table and 4 chairs which we used daily to enjoy the sunshine while having a refreshment. We were given a warm welcome by Karen and she gave us a rundown of facilities in the area. There was also a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. It is only a 15 min. walk into the Chester along the canal or there is an excellent bus service with the bus stop just outside the mews. The car was parked up except when we visited the coastal resorts of Wales.

“Gorgeous, Cosy, memorable stay in October” My husband and I stayed at Bakers Cottage for a long weekend with friends. From the moment we emailed the owner, Jo, our experience could not have been better. Jo was quick to get back to us, meticulous in providing us with all the information we needed regarding our stay, and altogether lovely to book through. As far as the cottage goes, I cannot praise it enough. The home is decorated beautifully- lots of lovely little touches that you usually do not get when renting a holiday home. The cottage has absolutely everything you would need from DVD's and games, to books, toys, twinkly lanterns and even a lovely chilled bottle of wine in the fridge! The heart of the cottage is the dining kitchen, which is a wonderfully comfy place to sit, chill out, chat and eat dinner. I imagine that in the summer months, it is lovely to sit with the doors open onto the private yard outside. The location of the cottage is perfect- a genuine 10 minute stroll into the city centre. However, there are plenty of lovely, local cafes and pubs- The Ship Inn beside the river, and a particular mention to the 'Brown Sugar' cafe, just a 5 minute walk towards town, the owners were welcoming and the food was delicious- we had a lovely sunday morning brunch there. Handbridge has a lovely village type feel to it. In summary, my husband, friends and I had a really wonderful stay here. Thankyou Jo, we will definately return!
