“chocolate box cottage” This beautiful cottage is tucked away in a little hamlet at the bottom of a wooded valley about two miles away from the fishing village of Looe. Although small, this cottage is so well organised with oodles of storage space, it feels cosy rather than cramped; certainly for a couple or even three people. It has plenty of period features such as thick walls and uneven floors which add to its many charms. The interior of the cottage is fitted to a very high standard, with a new kitchen and bathroom, a good selection of crockery, pans and utensils in the kitchen and finished with lovely touches such as luxury toiletries and delicious scones. Finally, what could be better after a day spent exploring the many wonders of Cornwall than to toast your toes in front of a roaring fire in the log burner.

“Fantastic Cottage” This is a beautiful place to stay. All your needs are catered for with quality furnishings and high class fixtures. The kitchen has everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. We found the fenced area great for our two dogs as they were able to have a little walk round on their own. The setting is lovely, very quiet but close enough to the small village or a little further to Matlock or Chesterfield. We had a very relaxing break over the New Year, thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to return in the future.

“Wonderful Stay” This cottage was everything we could ask for. Wendy and Adrian made us feel at home. When we arrived there was a fire burning, a bottle of wine, a cake and a welcome note. The cottage has all of the amenities and a fantastic location. The tranquil area with fields of sheep, horses and cows is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of regular life. The walks and drives around the area, the Castles and villages in close proximity to the cottage filled our days with explorations. Cardington is 2 miles away, an attractive village with an old pub. Church Stretton is only a short drive away and has a market, shops, places to eat and drink and a friendly atmosphere.We would definitely return to Caradoc Cottage for another visit.

“Charming cottage in a lovely location” From the look of the cottage anyone would think they were in deep rural Ireland. But no!. This delightful cottage is on the outskirts of Belfast in a charming and secluded setting ideal for visiting the Titanic museum etc. or as a springboard to visits sights around NI. Our hosts were helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We would certainly stay here again.

“Wow!” If you want an escape from reality to be one with nature in the private woods and pond I would highly recommended this stay. I took the family here for a short stay which we extended having been there for a few hours. Great location into the peaks great privacy and a five star dwelling with views which are breathtaking. I will be coming back here again!

“Hebridean Summer” Beautiful cottage with an attic bedroom up a ladder my 11 year daughter loved. Great walks nearby beautiful empty beaches a short car ride away and some great cafes and hotels serving tasty food. On wets days there is the Kildonan museum and the museum in North Uist. Great place to stay

“Brilliant stay” The Dairy was a lovely place to stay, only minutes from the beach. Debby and Brian were very welcoming and it was an extra treat to find milk in the fridge and eggs. The accommodation was perfect for us in size (we were a couple with 2 dogs) and had everything we needed - even a hairdryer as I forgot mine! The secure outside area was great for our dogs to wander in and out while we were there. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

“Perfect Location” A wonderful house across the road from the beautiful Harlyn Bay. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, very comfortable snuggly sofas and comfortable beds. It was extremely clean and lots of cleaning products to use throughout the week. Would highly recommend.

“Great house in stunning setting” We were very fortunate to get two very sunny days on the Isle of Seil. The house is overlooking the sea with a massive garden. You can’t get into the water from here due to the rocks but a great place for a three year old to throw stones. The house was well appointed - we were provided with a cot & highchair. We were able to make our meals there - even a roast chicken with all the necessary utensils & herbs etc in the cupboard. The rooms had comfortable beds. Only niggles were very minor - the curtains in the spare room didn’t block out the light for our light sensitivity kids so we had some early mornings (but you come to expect that when you go away with kids) & the fridges had been turned off so it took a while for them to cool. Locally we kayaked from a nearby beach & climbed a hill behind the village. It’s walking distance into the village but there’s not much there aside from the pub which serves basic enough food - for lunch they had Mac & cheese, lasagne, veg curry etc. We would definitely return to this picturesque spot & family friendly holiday home.

“Perfect for a short break.” The Cowshed was an absolutely perfect place to stay. The owners were so kind and welcoming and it was great to be able to take out border collie Lacy with us. There are plenty of places to visit near by but you do really need a car to enjoy the island to the full.

“Perfect cottage for two” We have just spent a few days at this lovely cosy cottage it has every thing you could possible need. The owner Isobel welcomed us with lovely fresh eggs which we enjoyed. Walking distance to hotels and shops. Lamlash has super views of Holy Island. We hope to visit again soon.

“Lovely Cottage” We were a party of four adults , one baby and a dog. There was everything we could possibly need available in the cottage which was also very comfortable and the beds were lovely too. Two bathrooms was a definite bonus. Just a short walk into Tintagel and not far for the coastal walk . Highly recommended and would go back again.
