“A nice "get away from it all"” Spent a week at the Mowhay. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity and being surrounded by nature. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and well placed for coastal walks. You do need a car though there is an hourly bus service which passes close by and goes to Land's End and St Ives. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. All in all we had a very refreshing and enjoyable week.

“Incredible stay” We stayed at Ashbourne Oast for a few nights with family leading up to my wedding! We had an incredible stay. The Oast was huge and allowed us all to have our own bathrooms and space to have time alone when needed. The past came equipped with all we needed. The beds were comfy and decor was to an exceptional standard. It was just a short drive to our Wedding venue and made for the perfect place to get ready! Thank you to Michael

“Simply perfect!” I along with a friend & two dogs visited Stornoway to see the iolaire display in the local lews castle museum. We booked The Barn to stay because it offered Dog friendly accommodation. When we arrived we were delighted with our home for the 4 days. Everything that you could need or require is catered for,bedding towels,dishes pot n pans you name it,simply perfect. The owners are extremely welcoming & friendly & a very generous welcome pack awaited us,the owners also popped by with a pack of smoked salmon too. Extremely acceptable. The Barn is 10 minutes at most from town,it is close to beautiful beaches & plenty of good walks available nearby. One bit of advice l'd give to dog owners...Make sure your dog is on a lead at all times due to the amount of sheep in the area. I/we would happily book The Barn again & fully recommend it to anyone else visiting the islands.

“Coach House Ridware Hall” What an amazing house! Just beautiful! It has everything! Including comfort! Style! And all you need to relax in amazing surroundings. The bedrooms are so luxurious. The kitchen fully equipped! The lounge is cosy with relaxing sofas! I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

“Cosy, quiet, super location” Barn owl barn is the best place we have stayed. It was clean, cosy and had everything we could want for our stay. The location was brilliant for exploring this Cornish coast, convenient yet still peaceful. We will be returning next year.

“Perfect tranquility” I parked my car and felt my shoulders relax, we work hard so this delightful cottage was just perfect to switch off. Views are amazing and the cottage had everything that we needed, even great books, games, all the mod cons too. The lovely walk to the local was just far enough, but close enough. I would definitely return!

“Wonderful Cottage” We had the best time in this cottage. It is perfectly equipped, warm and cosy. Plenty of country walks and traditional real ale pubs near by. The owners have a micro brewery next to the cottage, so do ask about this. We will return and it is great for a break, whatever the season.

““Perfect for a family holiday”” We stayed at the barn with our daughter and three grandchildren, aged 14yrs - 2 yrs The barn was well situated for all actives in the area, plus so comfy and homely, we had everything we needed and more besides. Charlotte made us a delicious chocolate cake, and home made apple juice, there was milk, tea and coffee, so welcoming on our arrival. The children loved meeting all the animals. We had a great time, and would love to visit again, Thank you Charlotte.

“Mrs” A lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. The driveway is a little bit tricky for a low ish car but when you get used to it, it's ok. Thank you for all the arrival gifts, bread,milk,eggs etc. Only 5 mins from Porthleven where our family are.
