“The perfect home for your Tuscan experience” Our family very much enjoyed this lovely villa. The home is exactly as described and photographed, and the setting is very picturesque. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed quality family time--dining together on the covered patio, relaxing poolside after a swim, or watching a little TV in the evenings--but the spaciousness of this home affords privacy and 'alone time', as well. The villa is a short drive into Florence, and there are some good, local restaurants within walking distrance. The owners and caretakers did everything possibly to make us feel at home in their lovely home. We have already recommended this villa to family members, friends and co-workers....and cannot wait to return!

“A beautiful apartment” I would highly recommend this apartment for its comfort and location. The decor and furniture are of very high quality and the apartment was spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils and crockery you need for self catering. We were met at a vaporetto stop and taken to the apartment. The whole booking procedure was very efficient. The only negative thing I can say about the apartment is that there is a marked lack of storage in the twin bedroom. there are no drawers in the room and one single wardrobe is not enough storage for two adults.

“EXCEPTIONAL APARTMENT IN THE HEART OF BOLOGNA” Location Location Location: It could not be better, in the historic centre of Bologna just behind the two Towers in the Santo Stefano quarter with its beautiful arcaded walkway, the Piazza, the very impressive Church and Oratoriium, quiet and dignified, beautiful in architecture and age. The apartment is a Bijoux, kept immaculate, with ample bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. All the facilities arre there, from washing machine to CD player to TV. It was wonderful for us to be so centrally located and with such comfort, no Hotel Suite would compare. The owner is extremely helpful and all her recommendations, specially of Restaurants, were extremely useful. We hope to go back next year!!

“The best view in Positano made our holiday so memorable” We recently stayed at Casa Mariano my husband and I, our two children and my mother. The house is situated in a gated park so you feel so safe and the park is immaculate and so beautiful with lovely plants. It is such a quiet location, yet you are minutes from all the action in Positano. The apartment is beautiful so clean and Mariano provides so many basic essentials that make your stay so comfortable it was so well equipped. The view took our breath away and to come home to that balcony at the end of the day and watch the sun set over Positano was a daily treat. The pool made our holiday complete. Again immaculately kept, it is manned every day with a life guard. It is so clean and most days you are only sharing with a few people and the view is the best in Positano. In my opinion you couldn't stay anywhere better, we loved it and one of the best restaurants is on your doorstep. The only thing that you have to bear in mind is that there are a lot of steps to climb up and down to the apartment but there is a porter you can hire to take your luggage and we just saw it as a good way to keep fit and burn off all those delicious Italian ice creams. To be honest if you come to Positano you need to be fairly fit as its all steps but well worth it I'd be there again in a shot if I could. Thank you Mariano and your lovely wife for a holiday that we will treasure in our minds always and I couldn't recommend Casa Mariano more highly.

“Fabulous location and facilities for family holiday in beautiful friendly part of Veneto” This was our second fabulous holiday to Treviso, staying at Apartment Sile. We'e a family of five, with kids aged 16,14 & 12 at the time of this hol. Silea is a short bus ride from the town centre, with a very direct, easy to use service which stops 2 mins from the apartment. Treviso centre is also a pleasant walk or cycle ride away, with a safe car-free route all the way. This means we had the best of both worlds: peace and space in the suburbs, with local shops, pizzarias, gelateria, bars and a park, whilst close enough to enjoy the historic centre of Treviso with its lovely bustle, bars, market, numerous churches and museum. Connections with Venice and other towns and villages are great - Conegliano, Bassano, Padova for e.g. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped and furnished, making family catering and downtime simple and pleasant (not always the case in holiday lets!), with spacious living room, terrace and kitchen...and all the utensils you'd need for preparing any meal using fabulous local ingredients This year we enjoyed getting to know the enoteca (on the main road towards Treviso...on the right between the butchers (macelleria) and supermarket Cadoro), where wine on tap is sold by the litre! Bring your own container and pay 1,30euro for a litre of malbec, or a little more per litre for local prosecco. All in all, a holiday highly recommended by all of us. We will certainly be going back!

Why Italy?

Vineyards and olive groves in Chianti, canals and gondoliers in Venice, and ancient ruins in Rome… It’s hard to imagine anywhere more captivating than Italy. One thing’s for sure: no matter where you begin, your first visit will spark a lifelong love affair.

Rurall Idyll, Urban Paradise

Italy’s varied landscapes stretch from the snowcapped peaks of the Alps in the north to the sun-kissed beaches of Sicily, so holidaymakers are spoilt for choice. As well as idyllic rural destinations with breathtaking mountains and coastline, Italy is brimming with stunning cities to explore. Rome is a treasure trove of ancient sites and artefacts while Florence, capital of the Renaissance, is a pure celebration of art and architecture.

Full Of History & Flavour

Venture a little further south and you’ll reach the coastal city of Naples in the Campania region. Nearby Mount Vesuvius dominates the skyline; its eruption in 79 AD buried the town of Pompeii in ash, resulting in one of the largest (and most fascinating) archeological sites in the world. The very soul of Naples, and of Italy in general for that matter, is food. Alongside trademark Neapolitan gelato, you can sample balsamic vinegar in Modena, tuck into a true bolognese in Bologna, or hunt for truffles in Tuscany. Your tastebuds will thank you for it.

Coastal Delights

Italy’s familiar ‘boot’ shape affords the country mile upon mile of picturesque coastline on the Mediterranean, Tyrrhenian and Adriatic Seas. The glorious Amalfi Coast, with its clifftop houses and Michelin-star restaurants, stretches along the Sorrentine Peninsula. And further north, the UNESCO-listed villages of ‘Cinque Terre’ dot the coast with colour from Monterosso to Riomaggiore.

Mimmo's Holiday House, Florence
Lovely house in a beautiful and tranquil location

We spent a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful old house. The house sits on the hillside, surrounded by nature and is perfect for anyone looking to totally unwind and just enjoy soaking up the Italian countryside. Simone was the perfect host - friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended. … see more
Salini House By The Lake Iseo
A spectacular lakeside view.

The pleasure of sitting and soaking in the views of Lake D’Iseo from Casa Salini will make this holiday stay in the memory for many years to come. Early in the morning, I would sit out with a mug of tea and listen to the church tower bells play a medley of tunes out over the lake, whilst a duck and her chicks would emerge for a paddle. In the afternoon we would go off the ladder and into the lake (June) at first its cold and you would swim between warm and cold patches. In the evening we would sit under the pergola positioned to provides (almost) a 180-degree view of the lake. The house has a bohemian feel so not everything matches. It has air con but we didn’t really require it. A few practical points. Parking: There is a general parking area out on the street, so no reserved places. You will see signs which advise that parking is restricted to 2 hours. However, the owner advises the sign is very old and not active. We had no problems and we always found a spot. The 2nd bedroom: When we arrived we found that the 2nd bedroom was made up as a double bed. However, we eventually found out it was actually a twin variety so we could separate them out and there was plenty of spare linen et el to make them up into a twin set. Washing Machine: The inventory does mention a washing machine. There is not one in the house, however, the owner who lives next door will take in your washing by arrangement and deposit it back at a later time. Kitchen: For the cooker you need to turn the gas on under the sink. The kettle holds about one mug of water, they have a small coffee percolator which I used every day. The fridge if turned up to a high number will start freezing things at the back of the fridge. Bikes: There are 3 bikes (no bike helmets). The owner is a lovely lady who you will see conducting her yoga in the mornings and paddleboarding down the lake.see more
Villa Natura
Beautiful villa and location

Villa Natura is beautiful. The house itself is of a high standard with all the amenities you could wish for and the rooms are tastefully decorated with extremely comfortable beds. However, what sets this place apart is the beautiful garden and the views across the Bay of Naples - it was perfect. Our children (aged 10 and 12) loved playing in the pool and we enjoyed a quick dip to cool down when needed. It's a great base for exploring this area and although the road from the villa to the coast road is very narrow it is fine as long as you take your time and after a couple of runs I had definitely got used to it. Make sure you have a small car. We had 2 cars - a Fiat Panda and a VW up. The hosts were very accommodating - we enjoyed their pizza experience immensely as well as the welcome basket and tomato sauce that they had prepared for us on our first night as we arrived late.see more
Villa Vista 80mt from beach free Wifi, Air-con
Simply stunning views

We spent a fortnight at the end of May in Villa Vista, and had a wonderful holiday. The Villa is spacious and comfortable, and it is set in a lovely location with a simply stunning view of the sea and Asinara. The villa is equipped with everything we needed. We would describe the accommodation as comfortable, rather than luxurious, but have found this typical of self catering holiday apartments in many places around Italy. We were fortunate to have had generally good weather and so were able to take advantage of the outside spaces. It was nice to have the choice of sunny and shady areas and spent much time relaxing and eating outside. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the locality, and Stintino just a short drive away for essentials - including coffee and croissants overlooking the marina.see more
Sunshine monopoli
Well located property , full of character

This is a lovely traditional Italian town house in an interesting square. There is a nice , gently shelving beach (though quite small ) just around the corner and a wine bar which serves tasty plates of food and nice cocktails opposite. Beppe the owner was very friendly and helpful and provided basics such as wine, water and snacks to start us off and enough washing up liquid and toilet rolls for the whole week which was very useful. Monopoli is a lovely old town with access by train (though with varying degrees of punctuality) to some other lovely old towns .see more
romantic house in the wood with a spectacular view
Thoroughly recommend the house in the woods (just be aware of the roads)

The first thing to highlight is the amazing views over Como which repeatedly absorbs the attention. The seated decking area has just this fantastic backdrop. The house is chic with designer bathrooms, the rooms are tastefully furnished with high-quality wall prints. To manage your expectations the caution would be that once you have arrived by car you leave it parked in the garden drive until it's time to leave. Instead, use the local funicular railway. For downward journeys, there is a halfway stop which means you walk down to it (it does mean skirting around the ticket barrier and purchasing a ticket at the bottom). You are then near to the heart of Como and its a shortish walk to the Ferry terminal. On return, you go to the top station and then walk down to the house. There is really only one way to drive to the house and that is from Como on the Via per Brunate and the Via per Como. Even then turning around the sharp 180 degree bends can be challenging to the non-local, and the roads can narrow (so the bigger your car the more challenging it becomes) (I am glad we did not fall for the Avis rouse of boot space vs luggage upgrade ploy). The final roads to the house can be a bit confusing. It transpires that Sonia the owner will often arrange to meet guests in Brunate so they can follow her to the house. If you see a feasible route from Cassano on the SP37 DON’T TAKE IT. At some points the road narrows (between thick walls) to such an extent that you have to take your wing mirrors in (the bigger the car the narrower the width). Would thoroughly recommend the house in the woods (just be aware of the roads).see more
