“Excellent stay in Umbria thanks to Villa Nuba” Excellent place, close to historical center of Perugia, both by car or walking, but located in a very quiet neighborhood. The "Perugino" apartment hosted perfectly our family (parents and 4 big children), everything included, and Giuseppe always available for helping in case of required. (It was not required at all!). As a summary, we fully recommend staying in Perugia! and specially in Villa Nuba.

“Villa Molendi--our home away from home” We (2 couples) rented Villa Molendi for 4 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer. Silvia and Sergio was so helpful and friendly, and they went out of their way to assist us any way they could. You do need a vehicle, but it's very easy to find your way around. The villa was well equipped, and we felt at home right away. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, the showers worked well, and everything we needed was availalble. The villa was very clean, and it was easy to keep it that way. It was nice to be able to wash our clothes; clothes line and a drying rack are available. The fresh vegetables and their own olive oil from the farml were delicious, and there's an excellent supermarket close by (Esselunga in Pescia) for food and wine! We didn't have a chance to get to any local markets, but they are available. We enjoyed some excellent meals at the villa, and it was lovely to relax outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view, after a long day of sightseeing. The views from the villa were beautiful--nature and hill towns, and it was easy to get to Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence and where-ever we wanted to explore. Sergio was a huge help when we had a flat tire and needed to buy a new one--he got the tire ordered for us, at the best price, and made sure we were able to get it fixed as quickly as possible. Silvia and Sergio provide a lot of local information (places to see and things to do), and can help you find anything else that you need.

“What a lovely place!” We did not expect to stay so well for the price paied. Gennaro is a fantastic host! The house is not luxurios but very comfortable. The sea is nice and the Natural Park with its great views is at only 10 minutes walk. We will definitely return in future.

“a proper getaway in an authentic and charming part of north Tuscany” What's nice about this place is you can do as much or as little as you feel like: its a great place to be and be relaxed and its a really convinient location for the region. The house has amazingly enriching views across to the peaks and down to the valley. Admitedly we were very lucky with the weather it wwas super-lovely most of the time. At this time of year a lolt of the coastal restaraunts are clossed. But in towns everything was normal, markets are good too and there was a list of things recommended by the owners which worked well. Not touristy. Relaxed feeling in the house by the fire in the evening.

“Hillside retreat with welcoming hosts, fabulous views and an amazing pool.” We have just spent a week with Ian and Margherita ( and their dogs and cats!!) - myself, my wife and our teenage son. Ian met us just outside Vico on our arrival and took us on a guided tour of the important sites ( wine shop, bars and supermarket!) before escorting us to the villa. Margherita had already stocked the fridge so we had all we needed to start us off. It is a wonderful place with a fascinating story attached to the restoration of the villa and Margheritas family connection with Vico - all laid out in Ian's book which we enjoyed reading while we were there. The pool and surrounding patio are sensational. The views are gorgeous and there are several seating areas to enjoy them from. We spent most of our time under the vine covered pergola looking out over the olive groves. The villa is fitted out to a very high standard with a well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. the bedroom is cool and airy with a lovely four poster bed - our son was comfy on the pull out bed settee in the lounge. There's so much to see and do within 30 minutes of the villa and it was always a treat to come home where it was slightly cooler in the hills and have a swim to relax and cool down. Ian and Margherita were wonderful hosts and are a fund of local knowledge that they are happy to share with you on arrival or beforehand. I can't recommend Villa Oleandro highly enough if you want to see and experience the best of the Gargano.

“Peaceful and gorgeous place to stay!” Me and my friends stayed in "I due limoni" last September. We were staying there for one week and everything was wonderful from the very beginning to the very end! Firstly, the landlady Fulvia helped us much with getting to Pietrabruna, as the village, though not very far inland, is quite difficult to reach if you are travelling without a car (there are only 3 or 4 buses a day running down to the shore and back, so you need to keep time in mind; but it is by no means a disadvantage, because the place is really perfect!!!). When we arrived at Pietrabruna, we were pleasantly surprised with the superb condition and cleanness of the property as well as all the modern appliances. There is a shop in the village, where we used to buy fresh bread and vegetables in the morning. Fulvia is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful lady, who definitely spoiled us! :) She ensured that we were satisfied and comfortable. Fulvia recommended us the best mountain walks and places to visit on coast. We were given a great number of leaflets and maps, so we could plan our activities. As we are a bunch of people interested in food, we also took an Italian cooking course with Fulvia's sister, and learned to cook some traditional Ligurian dishes, which are extremely tasty (my boyfriend still tries to master pizza recipe, and make it as good as Fulvia's sister does)! In addition to this, we volunteered in grape picking in family vineyard, where we had a great fun. The surrounding mountains and scattered villages are very quiet and peaceful. It would suit people, who would like to relax and be with nature. The weather in September was brilliant: the sun was shining, temperature was above 20 degrees celsius - just perfect for walks or relaxing on the terrace with a glass of juice and fruits. :) Dear Fulvia, thank you very much for your hospitality! We'll definitely come back at some time in the future to get some more of your organic olive oil and jams! They are superb! ;) Beata, Ignas, Ugnė and Julius
