“great holidays” We had a great time at Mogliano Veneto! Simona and Ramone will welcome you, everything is there for you, from the shampoo and the sun cream to the butter and the jam in the fridge. We slept very well, it's a little bite like the countryside, it's very nice! The apartement is perfect for a couple and you even have a little garden. You can easily go to Venice and Verone ( a beautiful city too). And the pizzeria that Simona and Ramone advise you : you have to try it, it was the best restaurant we went to (and we went to a lot). If we ever come back to Venice we will surely come back to you Simona and Ramone, thank you so much!

“Best apt. for Location, Value, and Ease of Arrangement!” We stayed here for one week and absolutely loved it. Location was excellent as it was not far from the Ca D'Oro vaporetto stop or walking to any of the sites, although out of the tourist zone. You will hear true Venetian life...children on their way to school, the canal with all the activity of keeping the city going, and residents on their way back from the market which is close by. By the evening things have quieted down to the point where you can just hear the water lapping. The coolest thing was putting your key into the amazing doors with the lion head knockers on the ground floor of a palace! The apt. was more spacious than the pictures reflected, everything was spotlessly clean, and we were given a welcome snack and fruit. Large canal side windows in the bedroom and living room let in tons of light and air. These windows can open either by tipping just the top or swinging wide from the side. The kitchen is more than adequate for light cooking and we usually had breakfast and dinner there. The bathroom was top notch, though a bit cramped for space. Making arrangements with Giorgio could not have been easier and he and his wife live just upstairs if you need anything. I spent weeks searching for a Venice apt. that didn't want your first born child as collateral and was so relieved to find this one! Just an email and it was done! We met at the apt. (no fee) and payment is in cash when you arrive (no crazy bank transfers or security deposits) and everything was included in his very reasonable rate (no cleaning fee!) This was a more affordable option than even a B&B, plus the savings by doing some cooking yourself. In fact, we had a problem with the ATM and Giorgio was very understanding and patient while I worked it out! Just make sure to ask for the anti-mosquito plug-in as even in October, we had a mosquito issue...really can't do screens with this type of window. What a treat it was to stay like true Venetians and get to know the back streets and secret places.
