“Perfect escape to the country” Lovely cottage, a heart-warming blend of old world charm and 21st century comforts. The welcome basket was a treat, including freshly baked 'real' bread. The cottage is set in a friendly little village with 2 pubs and a well stocked village shop. On our first day we walked to Mary Arden's Farm, which is just around the corner. We returned on our last day, it was so nice and quiet. The 'park&ride' into Stratford is very relaxing. The second loo is a luxury, as is the sunny little garden. Amazing theatre too: As You Like it!
“Spacious, comfortable accommodation surrounded by spectacular Scottish scenery” The property was wonderfully equipped, It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making Quinag comfortable for guests. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the mezzanine was an added bonus, space to escape and enjoy the views.
My sister and her partner brought along Ben the dog who enjoyed frequent walks around the area as there was so much to explore. We also spent an enjoyable day at Achnahaird beach and went on the summer Isle cruise which I would recommend if you are in the area. I would also recommend visiting the Fuaran Bar if you fancy eating out, cakes at the Piping school cafe are also worth stopping for.
There is a handy wee shop a couple of doors down from the house incase you forget anything. All in all everything you need for an enjoyable holiday
“Very welcoming and comfortable stay in Pet-friendly accommodation” The property was beautifully presented. It had everything we needed, and had those little extras that made us all (including our dog) feel really welcome. The location was quiet yet extremely convenient for shops and the railway. The setting is dramatic with mountains all around, and there is so much to do both with Blaenau itself and also in the vicinity of the Town; a great place to stay, we would love to stay again..
“Great Holiday” Visited Casa Innismore with my husband and two friends, we found the villa well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. The outdoor eating and sitting area by pool where nicely furnished, the heated swimming pool just great.
Just a ten minute walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants one way and flamingo beach area about ten minutes the other way. We found the owner and manager most helpful.
“A warm and very welcoming host. Memorable holiday!” We visited La Colline aux Pins during September 2010. Niki is a very warm and friendly host who really goes the extra mile to ensure you will have a great holiday.
The villa is well located in a quiet and peaceful part of the village and offers exceptional views from an elevated position over the local area. The pool area with outside eating facilities was the highlight of the holiday. It was lovely to sit outside at night having a BBQ whilst dipping your feet in the pool. We are already planning to return next year.
La liviniere is a beautiful village in a stunning part of France and is well recommended!
“first class pet friendly cottage in good position” used cottage as base to visit surrounding area.very pleased with the amenities. Clean and well equipped could not fault, had a very pleasant few days.
“Immaculate Cottage in Great Location” Have just spent an enjoyable new year in Arran, staying at Alt Ardoch Cottage. The cottage is in a wonderful location with views off the Holy Isle. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom spacious with a good shower and jacuzzi bath. The living room and bedrooms are very comfortable. We'd have no hesitation about staying here again.
“Beautiful House - perfect for large groups/families” Fantastic house, so much space. The best place in the house is the open plan kitchen/diner opening out through french doors to the decking. This was the hub of the house when we visited. Situated a short walk from the beach (and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant), it's a perfect place for a family holiday or stay away with friends.
When we visited the weather wasn't fantastic, we took full advantage of the Aga and wood burners. This made for a very cosy stay. I'd like to revisit when the weather's a little warmer, and maybe we could break open the barbecue!
I'd definitely recommend this house, booking was easy, and the owner was very helpful.

“Simply superb” We joined members of our extended family for a week long stay at Dunley Farm and were absolutely delighted with the farmhouse, it's facilities but most of all the absolute warmth and hospitality of Geoff and Rebecca......and their assorted pigs, ducks, sheep and even Peter the Possessive Goose......
From the delicious Victoria sponge which Rebecca made, the farm bacon and fresh duck eggs to the magnificent spit roast lamb which the father in law arranged with Geoff - the produce could not have been better.
One of the high points for us was the way Geoff & Rebecca made such an effort with our children who are aged 1,3 & 13 - from involving them in egg collection, feeding the pigs & even allowing my son to drive their tractor - the kids absolutely loved it!!
We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Dunley Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a superb location.......don't hesitate - book it now
“Fabulous” Myself and my husband stayed at the villa with 4 friends - we all lead busy hectic lives and wanted a week of peace and quiet to relax. This we certainly did. It is situated in a quiet part of the town yet it's only minutes away from the closest supermarket and a short walk into the town.
Sharon, the owner, and Alfredo the manager were very helpful and informative. The villa is beautiful, spacious and immaculate. Upon arrival there was drinks chilling in the fridge and a bottle of wine to welcome us - what a lovely touch!
Unfortunately during the week I needed the doctor. The surgery was a short walk away. Within minutes I was with the doctor (no long waits) had an x ray and was given a prescription - it is very reassuring to know help is at hand if you require it.
On the final night we went for a meal at The Ugly Duckling which isn't far from the harbor in the old town. It's a quaint Danish restaurant with fantastic reviews. The food and service was the best we only wished we'd found it earlier but nevertheless a lovely end to a fabulous holiday.
“Cosy flat - perfectly located for visiting the city and Fringe shows” We spent 4 nights in the flat - my husband and myself, our 18 year old daughter and a friend and our 21 year old son (who slept on the sofa-bed in the lounge). The size of the flat was fine given the short duration of our stay and that we were out a lot of the time. The location was perfect; withn easy reach on foot to many of the Fringe venues and lots of cafes and restaurants and a local small supermarket. No point bringing your car to Edinburgh. We left our car at one of the Park & Rides and came in by bus. Moira, the owner, was very welcoming and helfpul. The ony thing that did not work so well was the Wireless Wifi which was unreliable and seemed to work better on our daughter's i-pod than on the laptop! All together a cosy and perfectly convenient place to stay.
“Beautiful place” We stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 children had a fantastic holiday , it was like home from home, every thing we needed for a lovely holiday .
The kids loved the pool and we hired a car and found a beautiful beach a 20min drive away which was lovely and quiet! zoomarine and slide and splash so worth a visit !
We will definitely be back again !
“Home from Home” I stayed at this apartment from 2nd - 9th July 2013 and had family staying in other apartments in Arenal Golf, and I have to say we definatly had the best value for money!
Upon arrival we were greeted by Tony who kindly took us to the local supermarket so we were able to get some essentials and then took us to the apartment from there. Tony was very helpful and informative with regards to places to eat/drink and bus routes.
The apartment was beautiful, clean and well kept, it really was a "home from home" as it had everything you needed.
The grounds were very well kept and pool areas nice and quiet, perfect for a peaceful break! Also the Bil-Bil Golf Club is now open which definatly gives the complex a more "holiday feel".
Overall we had a great stay and are hoping to stay again shortly!
Thanks to the owners Jane & Paul, they have been so helpful and a pleasure to deal with!
I would highly recommend this apartment!

“a peaceful oasis” This one-bedroom flat is self-contained within a larger house on the edge of the tiny village of Kineton in the Cotswolds. The accommodation is very spacious with a large bedroom, separate living area with kitchenette and a modern bathroom. Access is via a private door from the garden and we found it to be a lovely quiet private place to stay. The hosts were very friendly, they were happy to give advice and tips if required, but equally happy to leave us to our own devices. The house is right on the edge of open countryside and there are pleasant walks straight out of the door. We managed to get out for one walk into Guiting Wood which was very peaceful. There is also a good pub in the village, the Halfway House, about 200 yards away. I tried the beer there which was ok, food is supposed to be good here but we didn't have the opportunity to try it on this trip. Bourton on the Water and Stow are both within 10 minutes drive and, despite appearing to be in the middle of nowhere (it gets very dark here at night!) you can be back at the M5 within about 25 minutes too. We would definitely stay here again.
Europe’s diversity is nothing short of mindblowing. It’s a tapestry of different cultures, cuisines, peoples and histories, woven over thousands of years and, consequently, is an utter thrill to explore. From Scandinavia to Spain, you’re sure to find a destination or ten to take your fancy.
With so many countries creating the European patchwork, there are an inspiring number of cities to discover. Luxury 4 bed detached villa with private pool.
Just arrived home from a week long stay at this villa, what can I say, upon arrival it was clean, dust free, 2 towels each, and a modern kitchen that looked like it had never been used, double shower in the non en suite bathroom is a nice touch too.
When outside there’s plenty of sun beds to go round , aswell as a table with 5 chairs, marble table with benching, and additional seating. We didn’t use the bbq but it looked spotlessly clean.
Conservatory was fully stocked with board games, and giant jenga which we played a couple of times. Back utility room included and iron, ironing board, washing machine, and additional fridge/freezer. Plus all brushes and mops enough to give the villa a good clean once your done.
What was also nice is how many inflatables and stuff there is. A whole bucket full of different balls, 3 big inflatables and some other general swimming stuff great for kids.
Pool was clean when we arrived so the first thing we did was get changed and jump in, after 9 hours of travelling it had to be done.
Nice quiet neighbourhood , no rowdy neighbours , just peaceful. Playa Blanca Main centre is a 10 minute walk, with ample choice of places to eat and drink and shop.
I’d advise to get a car , even though you wouldn’t need one , it does open up a lot of the island. Such as Los Charcones natural pools. If in the area I’d advise driving up to matagorda which is literally next to the airport and going into the Guiness tavern. Good food, good drink, very cheap.
This was my nieces first holiday and as soon as she locked eyes on the pool she wanted to go in. Pool was warm, not every day but on the last couple of days once the sun had been on it all day, at around 4 o clock the pool was a nice warm temperature ideal for just sitting and relaxing.
Lovely place to stay would rate 10/10 if I could , will be returning for sure!!! …
