“Absolutely Perfect” We stayed in this fantastic villa for a week of relaxation, and it fulfilled our every need. The villa is beautiful, and words cannot do justice for the stunning views from every balcony. The villa provided everything that we needed and the location was ideal for the privacy that it afforded, whilst being within close proximity to the town. The villa was extremely clean and very well looked after, with all the utilities necessary to make our stay perfectly comfortable. The town was marvellous, and we were able to sample divine turkish cuisine which was at very affordable prices, only a short walk away. The local people were friendly and welcoming with hilarious sense of humours, and the local dogs were just as friendly, and loved our attention (without begging for food!). I have already recommended this villa and the town of Kalkan to my family, and we hope to come again for a larger family holiday at some point in the future. We had a perfect week thanks to the villa and the fantastic owners.
“Home sweet home with so much more......” My fiance and I stayed at Flamingo Resort for 1 week, of a two week holiday in April 2012 and immediately felt at home, as all the home comforts that one needs are well catered for. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and each room has bright open living spaces, with direct access to the main balcony too!
The airport transfer was only 20 minutes away from the resort, so a real plus in our view - and talking of views, we had the view of a beautiful lake to our left and the Aegean sea to our right and enjoyed these beautiful sights (and sounds of nature) from the apartments front balcony. The resort was quiet in April but this suited us just fine - we had access to amenities of other resorts which were a 15 minute walk away, which made for a nice stroll back to the Flamingo resort after dinner! The food in the Turquoise Restaurant was very good! These Turquoise Resort amenities included a Market/small shop, Turkish Bath, Swimming Pool/slides, Restaurant, Bar, Gym all in one area. If you need more than the basics, just 5 minutes away from these amenities, and near to Sunset Cafe/Restaurant there is a larger well stocked shop with fruit, vegetables, eggs and any household products you may or may not need. Sunset Cafe/Restuarant also offers good food with great views. We also took advantage of the dolmus/small bus transport system to visit Bodrum for the day which can be caught on the main road right outside the resort. The security guard will advise you of the times if asked.
We had varying weather in April which included sunny days reaching 20C, overcast days and very windy days too but all of the amenities above are set up for all kinds of weather, so this didn't get in the way of our (make it up as we along) holidays plans! To sum up we had a much needed relaxing break with lots other things to do if we wanted to! Perfect chill out territory!
“Unbelievable views and a perfect villa” I was a little wary of booking a villa via the internet however when I started exchanging messages with Tim I was instantly reassured. Tim was very helpful with suggestions for transfers and restaurants.
The villa is beautifully decorated with the most incredible views, particularly from the terrace at the top. The pool was great and was where we spent most of our days! We were within walking distance of two beach clubs as well as the Villa Mahal restaurant and there was a mini market 5 minutes walk away.
For more choice of restaurants it was an easy and enjoyable water taxi ride into Kalkan and later on an inexpensive taxi journey back. Saklient Gorge is a great day out within easy reach and Kaputas beach is a short drive away.
It was great having the choice of dining out or making the most of the 2 BBQ's and eating on the terrace. The attention to detail in the decor of the villa was great and all of the candles were a very nice touch!
Overall we had a fantastic and relaxing stay and would definintely recommend the villa to friends.
“Without doubt the best villa we have ever stayed in .” The quality of the fittings and furnishings are exceptional , the style is nothing short of fantastic . The Free wi-fi was a great bonus , the views are spectacular , the villa is nothing short of awesome ! The decoration is superb , The swimming pool is huge ! And the village of Uzumlu is fantastic , You must go to Ali`s and Cadianna , the food is superb and the owners are very friendly and will do anything for you .
We will definately be returning , Thankyou for letting us stay in your beautiful villa .
“A great place to stay!” The stunning view as we arrived was spectacular, and as we explored the property we found clean, excellent facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and made up for our arrival. We chose not to hire a car ( and as long as you are fit to climb the rather steep hill! ) the local Dolmus provided excellent transport. However a car would be an asset! As the week went on the ever-changing beautiful view never lost its appeal with its changing colours (gorgeous sunsets) and boats to watch. The owner was especially helpful, and even confirmed after we had finished our holiday that he had dealt with one or two minor problems we had, so they would be sorted ready for new arrivals!
“Fabulous” We have yet again a wonderful time in Kalkan, the Villa has everything you could possibly want, very modern, clean, great BBQ and outdoor space, perfect views, great location 5 mins walk in to town. Highly recommend
“This villa has the WOW Factor!!” Just returned from a fabulous stay at Serenity villa I-it is as gorgeous as it looks on all the photos and is truly 5*. Tracy, the owner was fantastic throughout the whole booking process, really kind and helpful-we were a mixed bunch arriving on different dates-Tracy arranged all the transfers for us. Brave tours (the transfer company) were great too-arrived very promptly, nice safe drivers and we were very impressed to be presented with cold water bottles and cold hand towels, as well as a welcome bottle of wine!
The villa was big, modern and spotless and the welcome hamper was gratefully received. Billy, the property manager couldn't have been more helpful - providing us with a local mobile/sim card, arranging things for us and lending us a buggy for the youngest member of our party. Mustafa cleaned our pool and brought us fresh bread every day - again, gratefully received.
We really enjoyed the walk down the hill to the town where there are so many fabulous traditional restaurants, you could eat at a different one every day of the year! It's hard to name a favourite but the olive tree garden rooftop and lipsos are both worth a visit-would highly recommend the 'lamb on a tile'-delicious! the walk back to the villa was very 'doable' too, and nice to be able to walk the calories off! We all came back much fitter and healthier, although local taxis are readily available.
All in all a fantastic holiday - would definitely go back. Managed to take a peek at Serenity II whilst we were there-now that is truly fabulous...
“Amazing view and very spacious, clean villa” We stayed at Villa Iris for a week with our 5 months old baby. The owner has been very helpful in giving us information and arranging car rentals etc. The villa itself was very well furnished and very spacious. The infinity swimming pool is also great and has an amazing view (I don't think photos do justice!). The location of the villa is fairly close to the town but it is very hilly so we used our rental car most days. The villa is in a nice neighbourhood and we felt safe the whole time. If we come back to Kalkan, we will definitely be staying at the villa.
“Fantastic!! You will not be disappointed!” We travelled to Kalkan at the end of September as 2 couples with 2 children under 1 and stayed at the Serenity Villa II.
From the moment we made our reservation Tracey was very prompt and helpful to ensure that all of our questions and requests beforehand were dealt with smoothly. We were impressed before we even arrived which made us look forward to our holiday all the more. Our transfer that was arranged by the villa with Brave Tours also went without a hitch.
Upon arriving at the villa you are met with a definite wow factor! The villa and its view are breath-taking and throughout our stay we never tired of it. Billy the property manager was there to meet us and was great at settling us in for our holiday and even brought us fresh bread every day! He answered any questions we had and was always only a phone call away, a great touch to receiving a first class service. He also referred us to a taxi driver that looked after us for the duration of our stay and he was a real find, whenever we called he was there in 5 minutes!
The villa really cannot disappoint, with its pools, Jacuzzi and hot tubs we felt so relaxed despite having the little ones with us and we never got bored with a gym, childrens pool, and playstation and pool table for the dads too.
The town of Kalkan really impressed us and was a beautiful spot. You are really spoilt for choice for restaurants all the way down to the harbour and we were particularly impressed with Kosk and Aubergine. Chilli's was great and café Leon has a great menu for a quick bite. The staff are fantastic with children too and bent over backwards to keep them entertained and/or help us enjoy our evening. There is also a nearby sandy beach which is also definitely worth a visit, the sea is amazing and very inviting! We also visited the local Turkish bath which was a lovely experience.
All in all I can thoroughly recommend this villa if you're thinking of booking. The property speaks for itself and the pictures don't do it justice but the little touches really make it special too. We would love to return some time in the future!
“Beautiful modern light and airy apartment, 3 balconies, stunning views, helpful owner.” The apartment is just outside Gulluck, the town is very unspoilt and authentic with a very 'local' feel. It's not a place for designer shops, but if you like the idea of welcoming locals, nice waterfront restaurants, lovely food, pretty harbour, very reasonable prices, very cheap taxis, stunning scenery, amazing market, very safe feeling .... then you will love it.
The apartment is really beautiful, tastefully furnished, very light and airy, and very spacious indeed. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 balconies, air conditioned. The complex is very attractive, overlooking the sea with beautiful views. The pool is very large, and crystal clear and clean. Everything is very well maintained. We appreciated having supplies provided, toilet roll, washing up liquid etc .. you just replace what you use.
Whilst you can walk into Gulluck, we chose to ring for a taxi, and get a taxi back, it was about £3 a trip which we felt was well worth it, especially considering how reasonable the rental and flight costs were. The taxi driver became like our personal driver, always pleased to call for us, and would never take a penny extra.
There is a small shop 5 mins walk away for bread and essentials, or you can visit the main supermarket in Gulluck which is very well stocked. The cheese and herb pastries are delicious. With such cheap taxis, its no problem bringing shopping back.
We enjoyed a fab day out on one of the boat trips, the people are very welcoming and proud of their boat, everything was so clean and well organised, and they provided a great BBQ lunch, very hygienically prepared. For £10 each it was amazing value and a great way to see the coastline.
There are some nice restaurants around the waterfront in Gulluck, serving really nice food, its a lovely way to spend the evening. Everything is very unspoilt and characterful, we even witnessed a local wedding celebration party which took over the whole town centre and seemed to involve everyone!
The Med Inn, in the opposite direction, is a boutique hotel with very upmarket ambiance, outside bar and lunch terrace, sun loungers with lovely squidgy mattresses and hotel towels. They let you use all the facilities as long as you spend a certain amount on food and drink during your visit - this varies according to season but was about £17 each in August and bought is a first class lunch and several rounds of lovely drinks. We went there twice, enjoying being brought lovely drinks by waiters! We then caught the 'dolmus' bus back to the apartment at the end of the day.
Other days we spent by the lovely pool, where there are loads of sun beds and parasols, and a beautiful view of the sea.
Paul was very helpful from the initial enquiry call, right through to our return. Very trustworthy and honest, and answering my many questions patiently. Our deposit was promptly repaid the day after we got home.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
“Fabulous villa with great facilities” The villa is beautiful with all the 'mod cons' you would expect. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the pool and of course, the view from the pool area and upper floors. Well looked after by the managing agent (linen changed mid-way through a two week break, pool guy attended regularly). The only downside, which should be noted for those with walking difficulties, is the location of the villa on the hillside. While we ended up taking taxis into town (for about £3 each way) there are still a number of steps into and within the villa. If that doesn't bother you then I fully recommend this place to stay! Quiet location, amazing views (which you only get by staying up the hill anyway!) and well appointed with furniture, facilities and utensils.
Karen Robertson (family party of 6 adults and 2 children, June 2012)
“Amazing views!” We spent a week in Kas in June 15 and stayed in this apartment. The apartment was great - so spacious (there were only two of us but would have been great for 4 as well) with plenty of outdoor space as well as indoor. The apartment is extremely well equipped and we loved the pool and although this is shared with the other apartments in the block, we found it was always quiet and we more or less had this to ourselves when we wanted to use it. The apartment is well air conditioned which is essential and the pool was a great way to cool down too. As the apartment is located up a steep hill (as with a lot of Kas) you are rewarded with the most beautiful views -even when swimming in the pool!
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Kas with all of the lovely shops and restaurants. There is no shortage of places to eat and bars to visit and the shopping is really good too.
Hilary and Omer who manage this property on the owner's behalf and who are based locally could not have been more helpful. We couldn't figure out how to work the aircon properly on arrival and within 10 minutes of sending an email, Omer was round to show us. They also helped us organise tickets to visit Meis (highly recommended) and delivered
water to us when we had used what was kindly provided on arrival. This made for a very easy and relaxing week!
I would highly recommend Kas and this apartment and hope to return!
“Simply perfect family holiday at Gondol” We stayed at the Gondol last August and could not wait to go back again this year.
Everything here is just perfect for a family getaway.
The self catering apartments are located around a large pool, where you can always get a sun bed! There are only 11 apartments (I think!) and we like the fact that it is not a huge impersonal hotel. You have peace and quiet but also get to know people around the well stocked bar if you want too! The food is great - breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are superb - thank you Angela and Aladian and the owners - Jane & Ali go out of their way to make sure all is good. The location is ideal, a short walk from the main road of Ovacik where there are restaurants and shops and where you can get the local bus to Fehtyie or Olu Deniz. You can walk in to the town in around 10-15 mins which is great for shopping but a but loud at night for us. We prefer the tranquility of Gondol. Thank you Jane and Ali for another fabulous holiday - the kids want to know when we are coming back!
If you’ve a passion for beautiful beach resorts, lush landscapes and captivating ancient ruins, then look no further than Turkey. It's one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world and for very good reason...

A country which combines the cultures of both East and West, Turkey’s very landscape has been sculpted by Greeks, Romans, Byzantine Emperors and the Ottomans over the last several millennia. Here, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences blend authentically to form an exciting, vibrant and cosmopolitan country, ideal for travellers with an adventurous streak.
There’s so much to see, do and experience in Turkey, your itinerary will be packed. A Warm Welcome
You can expect plenty of warmth from the weather and the locals, too. Turkey’s people are renowned for being some of the friendliest in Europe, so don’t be surprised if you make friends with a waiter or shop attendant during your travels.

4 Bedroom luxury Villa Private Pool, Sleeps 8 No10
Absolutely loved it ... complete chill, in an amazing villa !
It was just an amazing 16 nights in a beautiful villa situated 25 mins walk from Hisoranu, or 5 mins max in taxi, which cost only £2.50 !
Villa has all you need, tv will English film channels, dvd, superb wifi, great kitchen facilities, BBq area and private pool looking up to the mountains. Pool man was there 8am every morning, cleaners every other day. A lad from Orca supermarket came down everyday to take any beer/food orders and 1 hr later it was delivered. Upper Villa Fleurie
I booked this for my friend and I. Before I booked the owner awnsered all my queries promptly and was a pleasure to communicate with. Transferrs booked through the owner were prompt and we had no issues. I was pleasantly surprised at just how lovely it was for the price. The apartment is spacious, homely and has everything you could possibly need in it. It’s in a perfect location to reach hissaronu walking or in minutes on the local bus, but equally perfect distance away from the party nightlife in Hissaronu. The other couples and families around the pool were very inviting and friendly and helpful with recommendations for our stay. My friend managed to lock us out on the first day and help arrived in 15 minutes to let us back in and if we had any further problems I can confidently say they would have been resolved promptly. The views from the villa are stunning and the prayer call is just beautiful. I would highly reccomend this apartment. The only tiny critique I have is the bath towels are provided but a little on the rough side, but then they are provided for free? If that is the only tiny critisism I have, I think that speaks volumes about how great the apartment really is.
Thank you for our stay, we will be back ❤️ …
