Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Friendly, relaxed and great value for money!” I found Savino's place through airbnb and as I'd never used the site before, I didn't really know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! Savino's apartment is recently refurbed so it's fresh and clean with decent sized rooms and a nice bathroom. It's situated approx 10 mins walk from the train station so it's good for sight seeing aswell. I had a car and parking's a bit of a pain - so if you are driving, it's worth giving Savino a ring first to work out the best options (as I was out in the car most days it wasn't too big a deal for me).
Savino himself was friendly, attentive and very easy going and thrown into the bargain is dinner every evening! So as you're eating together and chatting about your day, you really do feel like you're staying with a friend. Savino's English is great but as I was hoping to improve my Italian Savino even acted as an impromptu teacher! :-)
Yep - all in all, a great stay...
“Great base for exploring Brighton” Babs is very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Option for 4 friends to share one bedroom (double and double sofa) which worked really well for us to all be together and was spacious enough to work. Good location 10-15 minute walk from the sights of Brighton.
“great host” Babs the owner was a lovely host for our one night stay... she made us feel right at home from the first minute with a lovely cup of tea and a chat in the lounge. Our room was comfortable and clean with fresh towels supplied and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We had plenty of hanging space for our clothes and a flat screen tv with good reception. The whole house looked well decorated and modern with a funky bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom was just down the hallway and shared with the other room rented out next to ours. Babs was very helpful ordering us a taxi for our night out. She made us a lovely breakfast the following morning of eggs, beans and toast, plus there was a huge selection of cereals, crackers, cheeses, yoghurt ,juice etc... we couldnt have asked for more!
Parking was the only problem we had during the stay, you have to find a spot over the other side of the main road where it is free.
There is a great little pub just around the corner to eat in.. lovely food and very friendly.
