“Perfect!” I stayed at this property with friends and family as my mum lives nearby and we needed good quality extra accommodation. We were not disappointed. The location of the property is within walking distance of the main plaza with lots of bars and restaurants with a supermarket nearly. It was exactly what we wanted and could not have picked a better property to stay in. Excellent accommodation, very comfy main double bed with two further bedrooms downstairs. Only negative is that there a spiral staircase down to the two lower room which could be difficult for young children or elderly. I would stay here again without question and would happily recommend. I know this area very, very well and this property is one of the best in terms of layout and standard in my opinion.

“A Lovely Villa on Its Own Slice of Kefalonian Coastline” We stayed at Villa Grand Avali with a group of seven friends and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The villa offers stunning views of the coastline that few see. But best of all is the small cove just in front of the villa with some of the best waters on the island and only a few people there. The house itself was very clean and new. As we were told, we were among the first tourists to stay there, since it was first rented in August 2013 ! Before that, it served as a private holiday home. This villa was obviously someone’s home since it is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The only downfall was that there was no swimming pool provided but on the other hand St Thomas’ beach is only a few meters away and we enjoyed all day swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear waters and calm seas. I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Kefalonia. It's suited for a relaxing, leisurely stay because of its location. There is also the option for more active holidays since there are a couple of sea kayaks available by the owner and the coastline in the area is just spectacular for exploration. If you are looking for a great place to stay, you just found one!

“Lovely garden stay” This house was situated about a 35 minute walk/10 minute bus ride from Split centre (the bus comes 1-2 times per hour and is easy to get). It is a house attached to the owner's place, and the owner's daughter's family's house is a few metres away. The owner Drazenka is very friendly and welcoming, and the house has a lovely garden. The house is a short walk (a few minutes) to a swimming beach. The garden was especially good for us as we were travelling with a toddler who has a lot of energy. Drazenka was very lovely with our little boy and he liked her a lot. I would recommend this accommodation for families who are not interested in staying in Split centre and are interested in meeting locals.
