Denmark is the most southerly of the Scandinavian countries, and was recently voted the happiest nation on earth. With ancient castles from its Viking past and modern architecture, Denmark is also famed for its politeness and liberalism. Copenhagen has a good Jazz scene and offers many cultural delights. For families, Legoland is a must see attraction.

Mini-apartment near city of Copenhagen
A wonderful mini apartment north of the city of Copenhagen
A wonderful mini apartment in a lovely garden situated north of the city of Copenhagen! The owners were very welcoming and helpful with tourist information. Within walking distance of the Utterslev Mose which are three lakes which you can walk, jog or cycle round and visit the Bronshoj kirke and garden and also the Grundtvigs Kirke and garden. We went by bus to the city of Copenhagen to see all the sights! We also visited the beautiful sandy beaches at Gilleleje, Liseleje and Hornbaek on the north coast of Sjaelland! …
Cosy Copenhagen apartment close to Lergravsparken metro
The apartment was extremely well equipped and convenient for transport into Copenhagen and a supermarket. We were made to feel very welcome and were very comfortable during our stay. We had everything we could need including books, games, tourist information, and it was a shame we couldn't stay longer! …
Unique Penthouse in the Center of Copenhagen!
Great apartment-all city centre attractions are just a short walk away
Frank's apartment is amazing , it is spacious and very clean , there is one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 without that share the bathroom and utility room. The kitchen is well equipped , we didn't use much of the stuff as we were only here for 2 days , small complaint : all of the cups are without handles , this makes holding a hot cup of tea/coffee a challenge.
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor (out of 5) in a new refurbished block in a courtyard off the street , you can use the stairs or elevator as desired , it is immediately opposite the Marmokirchen (Marble Church) so very easy for Taxi drivers to locate , also there is a new Metro station under construction by the front of the church , and when opened (we guess in 2019) Frank's future guests will be able to travel by metro from the airport to within 100 metres of his front door . There is a Netto supermarket approx. 300m down the street for all supplies you may need , and there are about 10 restaurants within 150m of the apartment. The nearest Metro is currently Kongens Nytorv , about a 10 minute trundle with your cases to the apartment , tickets for the ride from the airport are DK36 per person (about £4)
and the journey is about 25 minutes.
Nearby places to visit : Nyhaven (10 mins) Stroget (10 mins) Paper Island (20 mins visit soon because it is being shut down on 31 21 17) Tivioli Gardens (30 mins) and Telia Parken (40 mins) , there many others but these were all we could cover in 2 days visit.
Copenhagen is a beautiful place and we plan to return in 2019 for a longer visit , and will certainly want to rent Frank's apartment again at that time. …
Spacious flat in trendy Vesterbro
Ideal location for a short break
Very easy to find from Central Station which is itself easy to get to from Copenhagen Airport. Close to family friendly restaurants and supermarkets and great for walking to the main square and on to many other sites, including the Royal Palaces, Nyhavn, The Botanical Gardens and many more. The flat itself felt very welcoming and the rooms were spacious enough to accommodate the four of us (including teenagers) comfortably. We really appreciated being able to stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen. …
Downtown Copenhagen apartment for rent
A beautiful bright clean apartment in the centre of Copenhagen.
This is an excellent apartment which has everything needed for a pleasant stay in Copenhagen. It is located close to Kongens Nytorv metro which is on a direct line from the airport. We walked to the Tivoli Gardens, Paper Island and even The Little Mermaid Statue during our stay. The new pedestrian bridge makes it easy to walk to the opera although there is also a waterbus which crosses from nearby Nyhavn and it runs before and after performances.
We received a lovely warm welcome from Deborah who explained the things we needed to know about the apartment and took time to make helpful suggestions about nearby shops and attractions. Peter kept in touch with useful tips about travel and answered any questions we had before we left home. The apartment was spotlessly clean and there was a lovely bottle of wine left for us to start the holiday. We loved this apartment and would most certainly stay there again. …
City centre - new townhouse in central location
Beautiful property, well looked after.
We stayed here for a week in July 2015. The house is in excellent condition. It was pretty clean when we arrived, although (a small thing) the floors were quite dusty. At this time of year it is quite warm, but we just opened windows. The main (top) bedroom that we used was ok, but not great. The pillows on the beds are really flat and not comfortable at all. The pull-out bed in the other bedroom is quite hard and two of us found it too hard to sleep in. It takes two people, but it only useful for really young children. So the bedding could be improved. The little bedroom was fine, just a mattress on the floor, but comfortable enough.
The owners allowed us to use little bits and pieces like herbs and ketchup etc., which was nice, because we didn't need to buy them. They also let us use soaps and shower gels, again it can be annoying to buy these as soon as you arrive, so we really appreciated that.
One thing to note: although you are near Islands Bygge Station, this in turn means you get train noise. The line is maybe less than 50m from the house and the trains can be heard until late at night and early the next morning. We're used to a quieter location. We loved having the station nearby in the daytime though. The metro runs every 3 mins in each direction.
This is ideal for young families as there is a small park around the corner with a sand pit and a trampoline - great for small kids, then another one a few minutes walk away that would suite kids of all ages.
The owners were very helpful with my (many) questions in the two weeks before we arrived, we were grateful for this. …
