Denmark is the most southerly of the Scandinavian countries, and was recently voted the happiest nation on earth. With ancient castles from its Viking past and modern architecture, Denmark is also famed for its politeness and liberalism. Copenhagen has a good Jazz scene and offers many cultural delights. For families, Legoland is a must see attraction.

Mini-apartment near city of Copenhagen
A wonderful mini apartment north of the city of Copenhagen
A wonderful mini apartment in a lovely garden situated north of the city of Copenhagen! The owners were very welcoming and helpful with tourist information. Within walking distance of the Utterslev Mose which are three lakes which you can walk, jog or cycle round and visit the Bronshoj kirke and garden and also the Grundtvigs Kirke and garden. We went by bus to the city of Copenhagen to see all the sights! We also visited the beautiful sandy beaches at Gilleleje, Liseleje and Hornbaek on the north coast of Sjaelland! …
Cosy Copenhagen apartment close to Lergravsparken metro
The apartment was extremely well equipped and convenient for transport into Copenhagen and a supermarket. We were made to feel very welcome and were very comfortable during our stay. We had everything we could need including books, games, tourist information, and it was a shame we couldn't stay longer! …
Spacious flat in trendy Vesterbro
Ideal location for a short break
Very easy to find from Central Station which is itself easy to get to from Copenhagen Airport. Close to family friendly restaurants and supermarkets and great for walking to the main square and on to many other sites, including the Royal Palaces, Nyhavn, The Botanical Gardens and many more. The flat itself felt very welcoming and the rooms were spacious enough to accommodate the four of us (including teenagers) comfortably. We really appreciated being able to stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen. …
Downtown Copenhagen apartment for rent
A beautiful bright clean apartment in the centre of Copenhagen.
This is an excellent apartment which has everything needed for a pleasant stay in Copenhagen. It is located close to Kongens Nytorv metro which is on a direct line from the airport. We walked to the Tivoli Gardens, Paper Island and even The Little Mermaid Statue during our stay. The new pedestrian bridge makes it easy to walk to the opera although there is also a waterbus which crosses from nearby Nyhavn and it runs before and after performances.
We received a lovely warm welcome from Deborah who explained the things we needed to know about the apartment and took time to make helpful suggestions about nearby shops and attractions. Peter kept in touch with useful tips about travel and answered any questions we had before we left home. The apartment was spotlessly clean and there was a lovely bottle of wine left for us to start the holiday. We loved this apartment and would most certainly stay there again. …
Cosy Copenhagen house
I’m told it was lovely!
I can’t say for myself, as although I booked the Cosy Copenhagen House for 5 of us, our much anticipated weekend was wrecked by airline strike action and we decided to give the only 2 replacement flights we could find to our son and his partner. They had a wonderful time, enjoying the house and garden enormously. They much appreciated its proximity to the Metro and centre of the city, whilst allowing them peace and privacy. One day, I hope we will try again and would definitely attempt to book the same accommodation based on Jack and Sarah’s experience. …
Nice Copenhagen apartment near the Opera
Location location location
If you are visiting Copenhagen this is where you need to stay. 10 mins from Nyhavn and Christiania with access to street food, shopping and supermarkets. Beautiful walk to town through harbour. Bikes for hire nearby, one hour cycle to beach. Bus 9A ran every 6 mins to Metro, main railway station and museums and Tivoli, the bus stop was right next to apartment. The apartment is spacious and well equipped and had a balcony. Because it’s in a residential area it felt safe and not obviously touristy, and in fact we felt like locals! The ‘but’ is there is a fair bit of noise from the road and the main bedroom needs some better blinds as the room was very light most of the night! Because of the noise we didn’t open the windows st night so it got uncomfortably hot. We hope to stay there again despite this. …
