From its sun-kissed Mediterranean coast, Croatia rises through temperate heartlands into the Dinaric Alps - a maze of crags, waterfalls and hidden lakes. Whether you’re looking to sun yourself by the bright blue sea or do a little exploring on your next holiday, there’s no safer bet than Croatia.
City By The Sea
Combine a beachside break with historic city sightseeing: Dubrovnik is among the most remarkable cities on the Mediterranean and is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its terracotta roofs and harbour walls have featured on countless postcards. In fact, Dubrovnik is so magical that it starred in Game of Thrones as King’s Landing.
Croatia’s national parks must be seen to be believed. At Plitvice Lakes in central Croatia, a boardwalk skirts the feet of stunning waterfalls as they plunge between exotic trees and into rich blue waters. Off the Dalmatian coast, the island of Mljet is a heavenly way to beat the crowds.
Hoping to return to work a little browner this year? Intense summer sun makes Croatia immensely popular with anyone in search of a tan. In August, Dubrovnik averages almost 30 degrees, but the highs have been known to skirt the forties. You’ll be glad of the refreshing sea breeze.

Cozy 1 Bedroom Apartment on Nincevica St. - 5 min. Walk to the Old Town of Split
Fabulous, cosy apartment in a great location
We stayed for three nights and this was a fabulous apartment to explore Split from.
The apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the old town, nestled in a little enclave of traditional buildings off a main road. It's compact but has everything you might need for a short stay. It's decorated with photographs and mementos of the landlady and her family, so it feels very homely.
The landlady, Valeria, was so welcoming. She met us from the ferry and walked with us to the apartment, which was about 10 minutes. She gave us lots of tips about what to do in Split and emailed some further information during our stay.
We highly recommend the apartment and will definitely book it again if we're in Split. …
Korcula House Lisa
We stayed in Lisa's house for a week in October and while the house itself was perfectly clean and spacious, what made it for us were the absolutely fabulous views from the roof terrace. The location is superb with restaurants and bars just minutes away and close to the ferry port. There was milk and a few other basics provided and the kitchen is well kitted out. All in all, highly recommended. Thank you Lisa. …
Refurbished apartment in the heart of Rovinj
Perfect location in the heart of the old town.
Perfect property located in the old town, close to the main square, market and local bars/restaurants.
The apartment was great for us (a couple) with everything we needed for a fantastic stay.
Meet and greet arrangements with the UK agent made for a smooth transition from the airport to Rovinj.
Highly recommended!! …
Private House with 2. pools, near Trogir
We visited out of season. Weather warm during the day but cool in evening. Came home from a day at the beach and the owner had lit the wood burner for us. Set within a vineyard, bottle of homegrown wine on the doorstep too! House set in a beautiful position in the mountains. You’ll need a car to get out and about, but easy to get to town and beyond. We took a day trip to Rogoznica, an impressive yacht club about 30mins drive - the owners recommended it, glad they did. The beach at Medena is beautiful and the town of trogir is enchanting. …
Apartment Pleasant stay - Lapad *sea view*
Great Apartment close to all amenities
We stayed here for 10 nights, Sandra was very welcoming, the apartment was clean and spacious, with a balcony with amazing views over the the port where we watched the cruise ships coming and going, there was also a garden (with lots of wonderful stuff growing in it) with seating area and outside bbq (i recommend the butchers at end of street, we had steak 3 times done on bbq - amazing!!) we had a very comfortable stay here. Location was perfect, 5min walk to bus stop which took you into dubrovnik centre in 10 mins (also meet here for day trips) small supermarket in the street, larger supermarket (tommy) 10 min walk, about 15min walk to the beach, along this walk you will find lots of bars and restaurants, alot cheaper than in dubrovnik old city!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a base to explore this beautiful country. …
