“Beautiful house, can't wait to go back!” We spent 3 nights at Waterloo House at the start of December. The lodge is beautiful, even better than it looks in the photographs. Wood burning stove on for our arrival, a great welcome after a long drive but it was definitely worth it. The views are amazing! High quality fittings throughout. We loved our time in Lochinver and can't wait to return. Thanks Ben!

“Excellent” My husband and I stayed here for three nights over the Easter holidays. The location was perfect, and it was easy to travel to various attractions/ locations around the Lake District by car. We could not have been happier with Fellside Lodge itself. Beautiful Lodge in immaculate condition. All required amenities were catered for, and the lodge itself was absolutely spotless on arrival. We will definitely book again in the future. Thank you to the proprietor for a lovely stay!

“Can't wait to go back, missing it already!!” Excellent service from booking to leaving from Sue and Brendan. Thank you! Property was better then I had hoped! It was more spacious then expected for my family of 4 plus the grandparents too. Everything was lovely and we all loved the hot tub! the views of the lake where superb and loads of fish to catch too. You feel like there's only a handful of cabins around the lake as its set out so well that you cant see many at all so been out on the patio and hot tub you feel like nearly the only ones there. Its a nice walking distance from the main area for able-bodied people, however plenty of parking at main complex areas if needed for disabled or elderly guests to park. Please don't think bad of the lodge but just to make people aware you have planes from the RAF base going over (just in the daytime) which can be very loud at times but this is the same anywhere within the Tattershall lakes resort we just hadn't thought about that. They actually did some great displays to watch! This would NOT stop us going back at all just to make people aware! We are really missing the place already and have been looking at when we can return!

“Absolutely first class!” Booked a long weekend at Woodpecker Lodge as wanted to treat my wife & daughter to something special and this ticked all the boxes, and we were not disappointed. The lodge is absolutely fantastic, high spec, spotless, spacious and everything is brand new. The downstairs bedroom is huge, easily accessible for wheelchair users and boasts gorgeous solid wood furniture, large flat screen tv & windows on two aspects. The bedroom had been prepared to beautiful standard with lovely white towels presented on the duvet for my wife and I, this negating any requirement to bring your own. The bed was so comfortable too, something I am particularly fussy about when away from home, we both slept really well. The downstairs bathroom compliments the bedroom, also huge with a walk in shower. Martin Jarvis (the owner) has spared no expense on this property, it is truly 5 star rating in my book. The kitchen/living area is fantastic, well equipped for every need with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, 4 ring electric oven, again all brand new, a kitchen any home would be proud to have. Mrs Jarvis had also placed a welcome basket in readiness for our arrival, which contained a large jar of jam, choc biscuits, tea bags, coffee, bread....too many items to remember to be honest but it was a lovely gesture and one they present on every booking I expect. The fridge was also stocked with milk so there is no need to rush out for anything, you can arrive and relax immediately. Both upstairs bedrooms mirror the downstairs, beautifully presented & immaculate in every detail with yet another bathroom with a bath. The property itself has been built next to the Jarvis's own house. It is detached with its own garden at the rear, which can be accessed via a side gate or the double patio doors which lead onto the decking from the living area. The garden is lawned with small conifer trees to give privacy on 2 sides, the third being brick & fencing to give further privacy. You are able to park your car right outside the property where there is a pathway leading to the front door. In summary, this is a gorgeous new build property which will spoil even the most seasoned holidaymakers. The quite location off a country lane is perfect for that relaxing break, we heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. Great for exploring nearby Cromer & Great Yarmouth, we particularly enjoyed Cromer with its pier and crab fishing. Many thanks to the Jarvis's, you have a beautiful property and we would definitely stay at Woodpecker Lodge again.

“Beautiful, cosy and lovely!” Colwyn Lodge was a pleasure to stay in over the New Year. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is stunning - on the banks of a wildly changeable river - storms and calm were both wonderful to wake up a few meters away from. Would recommend to anyone with an appreciation of mountains, rivers, forests, walking etc. etc. etc, as there is so much of Snowdonia to explore in every direction.

“Perfect holiday in a perfect location” We had a week in the Lodge and we were very comfortable. Lovely location with a beautiful lake within walking distance and a pub!. Ideal location for visiting Longleat, Lacock and Stourhead which we did along with Frome and Bradford upon Avon. The owners are lovely friendly people keen to make your stay memorable. We had welcoming flapjacks, a bottle of wine and milk ready for us. We would return again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

“A lovely home in a lovely setting” We had a really lovely stay in this very attractive holiday home. Excellent communication beforehand and very clear directions and instructions on arrival. The holiday park is in a lovely setting, with great views and there is a sea view from the actual property. Many thanks to Sarah and Paul for the goodies you left us. There is practically everything you can think of included, even treats to feed the badgers in the evening which was a wonderful experience. Everything worked fine and the whole place was in great condition. It was lovely to meet you both and I'm thinking of coming back with another Aunty later in the year so will be in touch again. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

“excellent location and excellent host” St merryn îs located in a most beautiful part of Cornwall . With various beaches all offering something different within the local area as well as St Mervyns local conveniences and Padstow just down the road you have everything you need within a very short drive. However St Merryn is still close enough to the main carriageway to explore further afield. The holiday park is well maintained and great for children of all ages. Nigel was the most accommodating and helpful host and the lodge is privately situated on the park and nicely furnished and very well equipped. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely go back another year.
