“Beautiful” When we arrived at the area where villa mimi was in we were a bit disappointed as it seemed away from everything and the area a bit run down but as soon as we entered the villa we were gobsmacked. Claudio has a gorgeous place, too good for our kids. Everyone loved it especially the pool and underground games room. There is a stair gaurd at top of the stairs great if u have wondering kids (pity wasn't one at bottom minor) The pool was so warm as we used the cover that we were told to use only thing we had be extra cautious as there is no gaurd around the pool and it was quite deep but that didn't stop us. There is lovely restaurants/pubs "the Dubliner and Erin's isle" about 5 mins walk from villa . Lovely Irish bars. There is an inter marche up beside Erin's isle and the strip is only a 10 min walk from villa. Taxi into old town is 6€ per car. Couldn't fault the place. Thanks Claudio
“Lovely little house and great for a family” We stayed for a week in this cottage near Principe Real. The location is great for those who want to be able to walk around in old Lisbon. Its very near Bairro Alto and Rato is a bit further. Lots of eateries, everyone we tried was good. Some were very small and local but very welcoming and provided pleasant traditional Portuguese food. The pastries are second to none.
Justo welcomed us and gave us useful information about places to go and getting around and about. This was very helpful. The accommodation is well equipped and compact and we felt if anything was needed all we had to do was contact Justo.
My sons were very impressed with the marble flooring, the decorative tiling and chandeliers. It felt like a real break from our usual surroundings.
Bellem is worth a day out and also lots of good art museums in Lisbon. All the ones we visited had an English translation of the exhibit which was great.
“Home from home” There was 4 of us who stayed here 2 couples in mid 20's..
We had a great time
This place was Amazing
It's nice an modern, done to living standards not jus holiday standards. It was so comfortable made our holiday so relaxing and had everything u cud possibly need. Absolutely spotless an plenty of space. The terrace was so big every room had an entrance to it an had fab views of the sea, beach an old town.
It was extra for linen an towel Change so we didnt bother because we had a washing machine so did all that ourselves. Wash on in the mornin an everything was dry wen we came bk from the beach.
The pool area was quite small so we went the beach everyday.
The beach an town was about 5 min walk down hill an 15 min up it was fine not too bad..
We enjoyed it
but wudnt recommend walking if u hav any walking difficulties, children or elderly people.
We got a cab sum nights cost bout €5.
Overall I wud recommend this place it was really fab a home from home.
“Beautiful townhouse on the best complex in Tavira - highly recommend.” The Owner, Management Team where great from start to finish.
This really is a beautiful modern town house in a perfect and safe little complex. It has everything you need and is a short 10 minute walk to the centre. It makes a great base to explore Portugal and Seville is only an hour and a half away which is a highly recommended visit .
Tavira is stunning and this was our fourth visit to the complex and we were not disappointed.
“fab stay” Villa baia is a beautiful complex, and this apartment is excellent , spacious and ultra modern. i would highly recommend it to family and friends, you are very close to the beach and excellent restaurants that luz has. We had a fab stay and cant wait to return.
“EXCELLENT APARTMENT IN GOOD LOCATION” We have stayed in Dos Santos on a number of occasions, most recently September 2010. The apartment is in the perfect location for all that Carvoeiro has to offer, being close to a large selection of good restaurants, a variety of shops, and the pretty beach, just a short walk away. Dos Santos is clean, comfortable, spacious and well furnished, and we particularly enjoy relaxing on the huge balcony, which has both sun and shade throughout the day, so is suitable for sun worshippers and also those who prefer to sit out of the sun with a good book. The owners are friendly and helpful, and have provided everything necessary to ensure guests have an enjoyable holiday. We are already looking forward to another Dos Santos holiday later in 2012,
“Fab location, very peaceful......” The Paradisus Laguna apartments are a quiet, two storey complex located on the Millenium golf course, 5 mins by car from Vilamoura marina. Our two bedroom, ground floor apartment was ideally located, with the shared pool just outside our terrace, but kept private with a hedge. The rooms were spacious and well air conditioned, and the terrace very large with a dining area (and BBQ), large sofa seating area and sunloungers. The bathrooms and kitchen were extremely well equipped, with plenty of towels, including pool towels. There is very efficient WiFi and TV (Portuguese channels and payable sports only from what I can gather), although there was no time for TV, as there is so much to do in the surrounding area. There are some fantastic bars and restaurants in the marina and the local area, plenty of beaches and coves worth a visit, waterparks and boat excursions. We come to Vilamoura every year and this is by far the nicest apartment/best location we have stayed in - ideal for a family of four. Bicycle hire is available close by (similar rental system to the Boris bikes in London!), but I would recommend hiring a car to get the best out of the area.
“Sensational Villa, very relaxing and within reach of Lagos on foot.” Villa da Naranja is a lovely villa with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. I went with my wife and 2 children (17 & 13). Firstly the villa is much larger than I expected from the pictures / description on the web. The kitchen has all the equipment that you need and it is all in a very good condition. The bedrooms all have aircon which was a must for some of the nights we were there. The aircon is modern and quiet. There is a large basement which features a large screen TV, with a home cinema DVD player, a pool table, an air hockey table and a table football table. The home cinema allowed us to set up for movie nights which the kids enjoyed and my son has finally taken some frames of pool off me. I must have been too relaxed.
Outside the villa you find yourself in a large garden with a decent sized pool. All of which is very private and peaceful. The pool is 1.1M deep at it's deepest so no diving / jumping in but very clean and safe. Poolside loungers plentiful and there were shaded areas within the garded, under the gazebo and under the sun terrace which also had comfortable furniture for others like me who can;t sit out in the sun all day.
The villa and it's garden were spotless when we arrived and the cleaners / pool attendant both came and cleaned / serviced the villa / pool while we were there. Both were very unobtrusive whilst getting on with keeping the villa in good condition.
We walked into Lagos regularly which is about 15-20 minutes to the heart of the old town dependent on which route you took. It's a little uphill on the way back but we managed without using taxis. There are lovely beaches within walking distance (20-25 minutes at holiday pace).
Superb supermarket within a 10 minute walk; had everything you would need at reasonable prices.
A special word for Caroline who was very patient and very responsive to all my questions before we went. First time in a villa so lots of little queries before we went. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on too.
All in all a brilliant place to spend a relaxing holiday. Loved it!
“Superb apartment” The apartment is so spacious with fantastic views over the old town and sea. We spent quite a lot of time sitting on the balcony with a glass or 3 of wine relaxing. The only minor negative comment would be the uphill trek from town, but we are in our late 60's and managed it every evening. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
“Our little piece of heaven” The Cabrita family are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have a problem they are always there to help and assist you. I was unfortunate enough to be mugged, Gabriel took us to the Police Station and stayed with us until 12.30am, then took us back to Pomba Branca, what a star.I must say that we have been going to Portugal for 25 years and this is the first time such an incident has happened, It certainly will not put us off we have already booked for next year.
Pomba Branca is home from home, every comfort is provided, hygiene is faultless, conveniently nearby are Supermarkets, Chemists, Restaurants, Banks, One stop booking tour office, Taxi rank, Bus stops, Doctor, Dentist, Hairdresser and Margareths Massage Saloon(Highly recommended for that extra bit of pampering).
Pomba Branca has it all and the beach is just a short walk away and if you are lucky lots of lovely sunshine.
“A unique and stunning property in a tranquil location” Cottage Florestal far surpassed our expectations, a really unique property in a beautiful setting with stunning views to nearby Lagos. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Karen and John went the extra mile to ensure that we made the most of our holiday. Having their restaurant just a few steps from the cottage was an added bonus. If you're looking for somewhere off the beaten track but within easy reach of beautiful beaches and quaint towns, look no further!
“Great location” A group of 12 ladies stayed at your villa for 4 nights in June 2018. We were greeted on arrival by Miguel who was very helpful, friendly and informative. The safe was not working correctly, Miguel said he would come back and fix it, he did not, it was not a problem to us so I did not chase him up.
The villa is situated in a brilliant location just of the main strip in the new town of Albuferia. We had a lovely stay, the villa we found quite basic but extremely clean.
We had a few problems with one collapsing bed which we resolved ourselves. On point I would make, the villa is reported to sleep 14 people, but the dining area only catered for 6 people around the table.
All in all, we had an enjoyable time, and would use Columbia Estates again.
“home from home brill” thank you clive for the use of your stunning apt very spacious beautifully furnished .the town centre and marina 15 mins walk and must recommend lindas beach bar .will def use again when we visit portugal and i must say best instructions ever for getting there and details of the apt. thanks again
“I would definetly return..” We stayed for 2 weeks in Terracos da Vinha. We hired a car and had about a 20 minute drive from Faro airport. The accommodation is off very high standard and well equipped . A few metres and you are in the pool. The pool was heated and there was always plenty of sun beds, there was also extras at the villa if needed. We had air conditioning which was most welcome as it was in the 40's whilst there. We loved having the choice of different eating area, on the balcony,on the patio and inside . Our children15&13 liked the egg chairs and the sofa on the patio. we enjoyed using the bikes to ride to the beach, as there was four of us,another bike would of been useful at times. We were able to play table tennis. Our beds were changed once whilst we were there.
We liked the Wifi, though I am not sure the children were as keen as there was a limited download amount and we were requested not to watch videos. However it was more than enough for general browsing
We visited the Marina which is a 20 minute walk from the villa. We enjoyed a pleasant evening stroll most evenings. We went to the Natraj Indian ,Tuttapanna Italian all very good meals.
We visited Aquashow water park and we had a Seafaris boat trip. We drove up to the highest point in the Algarve Mount Foia. All worth a visit.
We enjoyed using the electric juicer to have freshly squeezed orange juice most mornings.
All round great place to stay, and would not hesitate in recommending Terracos da Vinha 2 one
Cobbled streets, golden sands, refreshing seas, fascinating history, idyllic landscapes and culture in buckets. A trip to Portugal is time well spent, whether you’re on a gastronomic tour of Lisbon, or escaping it all in the Algarve.
A Lifetime Of Landscapes
No two holidays to Portugal ever have to be the same. You can experience city life in the bustling capital of Lisbon, uncover the thriving cultural scene in Portugal’s second city, Porto, or opt for something different entirely: a countryside break in central Portugal, or a beach holiday on the Algarve. Whatever your preference, be it a stylish apartment or a spacious villa, Holiday Lettings has got you covered.
Time To Dine
When it comes to food, the Portuguese forte is cooking simple meals with flair. Thanks to Portugal’s close proximity to the coast, the seafood you’ll experience is beautifully fresh and the wine, courtesy of the Douro Valley, flows freely. But the culinary delights begin with breakfast, where freshly baked bread and cheese reign supreme. Just save some room for pastel de nata (a custard tart), Portugal’s staple delicacy.
A Tale Of Two Cities
Interested in Portugal’s renowned art, music and cultural scene? The cities of Lisbon and Porto are sure to deliver. The former is the country’s bustling capital and has perfect panoramas, sweeping hillsides and ancient ruins on tap. Porto, on the other hand, is fast making a name for itself as a charismatic culinary destination, where contemporary architecture houses film festivals and tasting sessions.

Apt No.83 Club Albufeira.perfect for a relaxing holiday
Very pleasant stay at Michelle’s Apartment
Very clean apartment and excellent location- kids enjoyed getting up and walking to the pool every morning. It was very convenient to walk to the near by supermarket Pingo Doce and into town. We had a great holiday. The loungers were also a great way to relax and it felt very private. …
Casa Darcey two bedroomed apartment centre of Carvoeiro. Pool, WiFi, tv, lift
Have been coming to the Algarve for a number of years and Casa Darcey is one of the best apartments we have stayed in.
It is very clean and the kitchen has most things you would need for a self catering holiday.
Beds and pillows are very comfortable and extra blankets were available as we found the evenings a bit chilly.
There was plenty of hot water for showers
The balcony was lovely to sit on to watch the world go by .
I would have no hesitation to recommend this apartment which is situated in the most beautiful village in the Algarve.
Elaine and Cliff were excellent answered my emails very promptly the only problem we had was with the TV and Cliff sorted that out very quickly . …
Topfloor Algarve Waterfront apartment OCEANFRONT with beautiful views
Five Stars Are Not Enough
This is our second time at Sophie's apartments. They just get better, this time we were in Oceanfront, 4th floor up with amazing views over the Ria Formosa and salt pans, don't forget to bring binoculars. The weather was great, morning sunshine up on the roof by the pool, afternoon sun on the balcony with amazing sunsets. The apartment is spotlessly clean and lacks for nothing. All kitchen appliances are top brand ,you can also enjoy full UK TV channels and fast internet. Sophie and Wim are there to meet and greet you on arrival and are so helpful and only a phone call away if you need any help. As I said before this apartment is spotless, my one tip is please try to leave it that way. …
Stayed here for a month in febuary
The villa is really spacious and very comfortable home from home
It is situated in a really good position for the beach, town and supermarkets also railway station and buses which we used both while we were there.
The beach is one of the best beaches we have been to and we’ve been around the world
The only downside to this villa is the heating for winter
It does say central heating but there is none down stairs in the bedrooms only the air con on heat which wasn’t good it didn’t warm our bedroom
The heating upstairs was a log fire which when it got going was lovely and warm but it did take a while.
We had really good warm weather all the time we was there but the nights it went cold so needs heating .
In summer months it wouldn’t be a problem
If we had heating I would have give 5 stars
Also it cost a lot for logs and electric just to keep warm in the loung
Lisa was very helpful thankyou Lisa other than the heating everything was spot on …
Great location and relaxed vibe. Especially loved the patio on the roof for catching the sun and the fresh veggies and Bananas from the garden. The owners were very helpful and accomodating. We are booking again next year …
