“Great getaway” We found the apartment to be warm and homely, where all of the family could relax for the week that we stayed. The weather was beautiful which enhanced the outstanding view of the 7th hole of Vale de Pinta golf course. The master bedroom provided a lovely outlook onto the swimming pool, where the family enjoyed several days of relaxing in the sun. It is in a perfect location for access to local beaches and restaurants. Overall, the whole family enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this apartment to anyone who is considering staying there.
“Lovely little house and great for a family” We stayed for a week in this cottage near Principe Real. The location is great for those who want to be able to walk around in old Lisbon. Its very near Bairro Alto and Rato is a bit further. Lots of eateries, everyone we tried was good. Some were very small and local but very welcoming and provided pleasant traditional Portuguese food. The pastries are second to none.
Justo welcomed us and gave us useful information about places to go and getting around and about. This was very helpful. The accommodation is well equipped and compact and we felt if anything was needed all we had to do was contact Justo.
My sons were very impressed with the marble flooring, the decorative tiling and chandeliers. It felt like a real break from our usual surroundings.
Bellem is worth a day out and also lots of good art museums in Lisbon. All the ones we visited had an English translation of the exhibit which was great.
“Fab location, very peaceful......” The Paradisus Laguna apartments are a quiet, two storey complex located on the Millenium golf course, 5 mins by car from Vilamoura marina. Our two bedroom, ground floor apartment was ideally located, with the shared pool just outside our terrace, but kept private with a hedge. The rooms were spacious and well air conditioned, and the terrace very large with a dining area (and BBQ), large sofa seating area and sunloungers. The bathrooms and kitchen were extremely well equipped, with plenty of towels, including pool towels. There is very efficient WiFi and TV (Portuguese channels and payable sports only from what I can gather), although there was no time for TV, as there is so much to do in the surrounding area. There are some fantastic bars and restaurants in the marina and the local area, plenty of beaches and coves worth a visit, waterparks and boat excursions. We come to Vilamoura every year and this is by far the nicest apartment/best location we have stayed in - ideal for a family of four. Bicycle hire is available close by (similar rental system to the Boris bikes in London!), but I would recommend hiring a car to get the best out of the area.
“A superb quality portuguese villa in a beautiful location” The villa looked great on the website. When we arrived and saw it in the flesh though it was a WOW moment.I went with wife and in law and children aged from 3 to 17. This villa fitted the bill perfectly. A large property with 4 beds and large kitchen/dining/lounge areas. A lovely patio overlooking a well cared for swimming pool of good size.A beautiful upstairs balcony runs alongside the master bedroom and the living room. The covered balcony being a lovely location to escape the midday sun yet still allow a cool breeze to pass over. Discreet fence around the pool to re-assure fears where younger children are concerned.Large gardens and driveaway that offer a good degree of privacy.Located close enough to Praia De Luz if you fancy a walk down to town and easier enough to travel to the lovely town of Lagos. The villa is fitted with a high standard of interior fixtures and fittings. Travel from Faro airport was around 50 minutes and basically it was on a straight highway so easy to navigate for those not relishing driving on holiday. It was that good we are already planning to return next year.
“Very good standard and location.” We were upgraded to this apartment free of charge. The apartment is generally well equipped and well located in a very quiet area, about 5 minutes from beach and 10 minutes from Strip. Could have done with a clothes horse. Overall we were very satisfied with the apartment. The only problem we had was with the shower. On our arrival the representative told us it was an awkward system but did not show how it worked. When we tried to use it we couldn't get it to work and when we phoned we were told what to do but it still didn't work.
However generally we were very happy with the apartment.
“Vineyards, hiking, sailing and relaxation” We initially booked the holiday, hoping to do some sailing. Unfortunately the weather wasn´t great, so instead we did a lot of hiking in the surounding hills and vineyards. The views are spectacular and the hiking trails well marked. We didn´t rent a car, as the property is easily reached by a lovely train journey along the Douro. Jose and Gustavo were very helpful and friendly and put themselves out to help us,drive us around, show us places of interest and take us shopping. Jose also took us out on a day boat trip and to a lovely local restaurant for a typical local lunch. The location of the chalets is magical - so peaceful and quiet and relaxing, and the little pool is great when the weather is hot. However, without a car, you are very restricted, as there is only one restaurant within walking distance and no shops. September was a great time to visit as it is grape harvest time, so it was very interesting to go around all the wineries, see (and take part in if you want) the grape trampling, and of course sample lots of port.
“The Best Place!” Myself and a few girls went here for a Hen Party. The Villa was beautiful inside and out and was everything we needed. Jim, the property along with the housekeeper Miguel were fantastic. We will definitely be back, as a group, family holiday or any excuse to get returning. Definitely recommend this villa and these guys made everything that bit less stressful helping with airport transfers to and from the villa.
Brilliant service, location and villa!
“Best holiday apartment....ever.” We've stayed in this apartment now for three straight years. It has everything you could ask for, and more. We have three kids - 13, 11 and 2 - and there was plenty of space for us all. A real home from home, with everything you need. Having dealt with Kim over the past three years, it is a complete pleasure to provide this feedback - this apartment really does what it says on the tin. For location it's a couple of minutes from the Marina and 10 minutes to the beach. Each year it has been a straight no-brainer to re-book..we could not recommend it any more highly ... book it and you won't be disappointed!!
“Beautiful townhouse on the best complex in Tavira - highly recommend.” The Owner, Management Team where great from start to finish.
This really is a beautiful modern town house in a perfect and safe little complex. It has everything you need and is a short 10 minute walk to the centre. It makes a great base to explore Portugal and Seville is only an hour and a half away which is a highly recommended visit .
Tavira is stunning and this was our fourth visit to the complex and we were not disappointed.
“Beautiful” When we arrived at the area where villa mimi was in we were a bit disappointed as it seemed away from everything and the area a bit run down but as soon as we entered the villa we were gobsmacked. Claudio has a gorgeous place, too good for our kids. Everyone loved it especially the pool and underground games room. There is a stair gaurd at top of the stairs great if u have wondering kids (pity wasn't one at bottom minor) The pool was so warm as we used the cover that we were told to use only thing we had be extra cautious as there is no gaurd around the pool and it was quite deep but that didn't stop us. There is lovely restaurants/pubs "the Dubliner and Erin's isle" about 5 mins walk from villa . Lovely Irish bars. There is an inter marche up beside Erin's isle and the strip is only a 10 min walk from villa. Taxi into old town is 6€ per car. Couldn't fault the place. Thanks Claudio
“Lovely Carvoeiro holiday” Pedro was very responsive and really helpful from booking to when we were about to leave the apartment. The location of the apartment is literally a 2 mins walk from the beach and was ideally situated right in the centre of Carvoeiro for all the bars and restaurants. If you like a beach holiday, with easy walking access to restaurants and bars this apartment would be ideal.
“Superb apartment” The apartment is so spacious with fantastic views over the old town and sea. We spent quite a lot of time sitting on the balcony with a glass or 3 of wine relaxing. The only minor negative comment would be the uphill trek from town, but we are in our late 60's and managed it every evening. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
“Amazing stay” My family and my parents have been visiting Portugal for the past 10 years and this 3 week stay was the best. The accommodation was perfect in a number of ways. My husband and I had with us our 3 children aged 13, 8 and 7 and my parents. The property was large and on 3 floors which meant everyone had their own space and bedroom ( all had an en suite bar 1 ). The interior was to a very high standard and had lots of storage space. The utility in the basement was perfect to for storing cases and beach things.
Very social layout on the ground floor, the kitchen led into the dining and lounge area which was great. Sky TV was fab for the children as the large choice of movies game them a retreat from the sun in the afternoon for a while. Ground floor terrace was perfect for young children as it sat next to the pool which meant you didn't have to sit at the pool, you can see them from your terrace. Pool got very busy on occasion but it didn't affect us as we only went to the pool area to swim. We had great trips out, dolphin watching, water parks, Lake, Tuk tuk tours and too many more to mention. Great information book in the property which lists all the best restaurants, trips etc.
We will be returning.
“fab stay” Villa baia is a beautiful complex, and this apartment is excellent , spacious and ultra modern. i would highly recommend it to family and friends, you are very close to the beach and excellent restaurants that luz has. We had a fab stay and cant wait to return.
“We will be back....” The farmhouse is in a peacefull location within easy reach of the local beaches. The Farmhouse has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our boys who are aged 9 and 7 loved the pool and chose to stay in the room with their very own bathroom!!! It was great that when they needed to chill out,the dvd player and ps2 was at hand,as that gave us a chance to chill and read a book by the pool..If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with good local restuarants and fantastic beaches this is the place to stay...
“Excellent Condo” I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. It is a new, very nice place to stay with everything you might need while you are there. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine - nice! The owners were very expedient in communicating with us before and during our stay. The apartment has underground parking which is very handy. The pools looked great ( a little too cool yet during our stay). There are some DVD's and great books for your use while you are there. The view from the balcony is amazing and a great place for morning coffee while soaking up the sun. The beach and town centre and restaurants are all walking distance. Lagos is also a great location from which to take many day trips and check out other villages and beaches. We went to Sagres, Mochique, Silves and Aljezur while we there and several times took a long a picnic to enjoy on the beautiful beaches while listening to the waves crash into shore. The grounds are kept very clean and the guards at the reception were great as well. You do have to get your own WiFi or you can use the computer in the reception for no extra costs or many of the restaurants also have free WiFI.
“Chilled out stay” Just back from Casa Monte in Carvoeiro where I was on holiday with my parents, fiancee, brother and his wife and kids. We had an awesome holiday, helped by the weather but also the location of Casa Monte. We were able to walk two minutes to several restaurants which made last minute dinner plans easy and some of them had wi-fi that you could use during the day. Then went down into town a couple of nights and there are loads more places to eat & drink to choose from.
The kids, who are four, loved the pool and so did my brother because with it being totally enclosed he could relax a bit more. The villa is spotless with loads of open space and it was easy to get keys and check in and out.
We rented golf clubs from Clubs To Hire at the airport and also managed to play the new Faldo and O'Connor course just 20 mins away. The O'Connor course is brilliant and the Faldo course is very good, although there are 4 holes on the back nine which I wasn't sure about.
Carvoeiro is simple to get to, about 45 mins from airport, and I found it cheaper to eat and drink in than Villamoura and a welcome change to some of the stag and hen nights.
All in all, I think i'll be back.
Cobbled streets, golden sands, refreshing seas, fascinating history, idyllic landscapes and culture in buckets. A trip to Portugal is time well spent, whether you’re on a gastronomic tour of Lisbon, or escaping it all in the Algarve.
A Lifetime Of Landscapes
No two holidays to Portugal ever have to be the same. You can experience city life in the bustling capital of Lisbon, uncover the thriving cultural scene in Portugal’s second city, Porto, or opt for something different entirely: a countryside break in central Portugal, or a beach holiday on the Algarve. Whatever your preference, be it a stylish apartment or a spacious villa, Holiday Lettings has got you covered.
Time To Dine
When it comes to food, the Portuguese forte is cooking simple meals with flair. Thanks to Portugal’s close proximity to the coast, the seafood you’ll experience is beautifully fresh and the wine, courtesy of the Douro Valley, flows freely. But the culinary delights begin with breakfast, where freshly baked bread and cheese reign supreme. Just save some room for pastel de nata (a custard tart), Portugal’s staple delicacy.
A Tale Of Two Cities
Interested in Portugal’s renowned art, music and cultural scene? The cities of Lisbon and Porto are sure to deliver. The former is the country’s bustling capital and has perfect panoramas, sweeping hillsides and ancient ruins on tap. Porto, on the other hand, is fast making a name for itself as a charismatic culinary destination, where contemporary architecture houses film festivals and tasting sessions.

Terracos de Tavira (Townhouse)
Wonderful place to stay
We’ve stayed at the townhouse 3 times now and absolutely love the place. The townhouse is very well equipped and Michelle and the team that look after the property locally can’t do enough for you. The house is in a great spot on the complex, close to the baby pool but with lots of space right outside the door for sunbathing.
The centre of Tavira is a ten minute stroll away via “the steps”.
Can’t wait for our next visit! …

Apartment Waterfront in Village Marina Olhao
Relaxing in Olhao
This was our first time in this apartment and hope it won't be our last. We found the apartment to be homely with lots of little extras, immaculately clean and comfortable. Sophie & William gave us a warm welcome and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were there for a month and really didn't want to leave. So hopefully we will be back next year. We highly recommend this apartment and say again, thank you, Sophie & William for a brill holiday. …

We are a family of 5, we stayed here twice this year (July & Oct) and couldn't recommend this place enough!
Sonia is very friendly and unbelievably helpful, even when we struggled booking a 6 seater taxi she didn't hesitate to phone on our behalf.
The apartment is spacious & clean and the balcony is perfect for all day sun :-)
