Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“The best Villa EVER” From the first communication with Amanda to being waved off by Solanda everything was perfect.
The attention to detail within the Villa is fantastic, the quality of the fixtures and fittings, fabulous art work, the luxury, oh so comfortable beds, loungers and sofas, the huge fluffy towels and all of the added extras that are included in your stay can not be faulted.
The infinity pool is magnificent, the grounds are wonderfully maintained by charming Nelson who is so proud to show you the plants, herbs and fruits that are grown there.
The walk down to the shops, cafes and marina offers lovely views and takes approx. 10 mins. Coming back is steep and you can double that time however a taxi is only 4 or 5 euros so with shopping perhaps it's worth doing that.
There are some nice cafes at the marina, a great gelato place, my personal favourite, with good food. Boat trips can be organised on this small strip, the spa at the Savoy hotel was wonderful, there is black sand beach, a yellow sand beach, a small aqua inflatable and a couple of small shops. We took a trip to Funchal and a walk along a Levada. All in all an easy week of activity and relaxation. All 6 adults in our group agreed we could have easily spent 2 weeks in Calheta.
Amanda, Noel, Solanda and Nelson go above and beyond to make you feel at home without ever being intrusive. How they manage that perfect balance is testament to their genuine hospitality skills. We will miss you all and plan to return one day. A final mention to our new best friend Zulu the dog who stayed up late to came to dinner!!!!
Trust the reviews and book this Villa.....you too will fall in love.
