“Relaxation at its best” Whilst a little bit off the beaten track, this property turned out to be more that we expected. Set in a gated plot, the property caters for up to eight people and as there were only three of us we had more than enough space to enjoy. Tastefully furnished throughout and very spacious. The pool is well proportioned and the gardens/orchard well looked after. Friendly geese and chickens who shared our experience every day. Daily fresh oranges off the tree and lemon for your G & T. The owners extremely pleasant people. All in all a very peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

“Portimao holiday” The Algarve is a beautiful area to visit , many things to see and do,, The apartment was very comfortable, all the amenities of home , very comfortable beds and linens , totally equipped kitchen , 2 patios , back was very large , great patio furniture provided, even mats and umbrella for the beach , the living room area was very comfortable, the tv was cable , but no instructions left for tv channel schedule or how to get English speaking tv ,, but the owners were. Very prompt to help figure this out once I emailed them ,,, The bathroom’s fan was not working and there was a smell coming from that area ,, and the shower nozzle sprayed water into the floor every shower ,, i did let them know and am positive they will fix this issue ,immediately , as we had an issue with a light and they came over to deal with it immediately,, they seem like great people ,, we had to adjust our travel arrangements and get into the apartment two days earlier than planned and the accommodated us ,,, Would definitely Recommend this property ,,,

“Beautiful rural location, gorgeous pool, spacious villa needs updating” Had a wonderful week-long stay at Villa D'Avozinha with our 4 and 1 year old boys. The pool is the highlight - we paid €120 to have it heated - well worth it as our neighbours said theirs was freezing. The villa and grounds are spacious and the neighbouring orchard is a real bonus with plentiful oranges, grapefruits and lemons daily. Geese and hens (behind wire fences) were a delight for our children and a swing and a slide on site were also plus-points. The only downside is that the villa furnishings need updating - kitchen and bathrooms work fine but are dated (nice hot powerful shower). Our bed was very very uncomfortable. We were grateful for a cot and high chair as well as beach and pool toys plus a selection of building blocks - all meant we didn't have to pack all the 'extras' for the kids. We booked the holiday as a package with Thomson and it included a basic hire car which we paid to upgrade. There are many superb beaches with lovely beach-side restaurants within a half hour drive. Our favourites were Burgau and Salema. Would we return? Yes if the bed was changed!! And finally, huge thanks to Teresa and Jose the owners who live next door - the welcome hamper was much appreciated and my husband was particularly pleased to be able to watch the FA Cup final with you!!!

“Beautiful villa” Had a lovely time staying at villa duma.the communication was brilliant from picking up and dropping off at the airport to popping in just to see if everything is fine (halfway into the stay)the villa is very modern with everything u could wish for.the pool was lovely and a good size i paid to have it heated which was nice going for a midnight dip! There is a supermarket a 10 minute stroll down the road and a few bars and restaraunts even closer. Albufiera is a short taxi ride 5 euros max. There were a couple of issues i had the water mains went off twice but both times there was someone out within 10 minutes who sorted it.there is a fan that is for the pool i believe which blows cold air right across the patio seating area so in evening it could be quite chilly. ( a simple deflector would solve this)and the jacussi bath in the master bedroom had a mind of its own it would go on and off an hour or so after u had a shower or bath.these r all small things which could be easily put right and make this villa a 5* review in my eyes i will definitely look to book again.and one more thing i think it would be nice to supply guests with just a few essentials Milk. Water bottled Tea And just a few light snacks And perhaps supply cleaning products such as washing up liquid and dishcloths and perhaps a handsoap.that would be a nice touch :)

“Perfect!” What are you lookinng for when you come to experience the azores? At aunty arletes House you will find a quiant, quirky house filled with love. You just have to sit in one of the funny blue chairs for a few minutes and you can't help hearing the laughter, the joy and the generosity that aunty arlette must have contributed to the world her whole life. Now let's talk about the total experience: first off you have Marie & Arlindo the perfect hosts. Even though we had rented a car, Marie, with a warm smie & hug, met us at the airport to guide us across the islant to the house. The house has location, location, location and view, view, view, not to mention the wonderful garden. The house borders the historic center of angra do Heroisimo. It has a very comfortable bed, super clean bath and kitchen; your host treats you with the best of the azores... Portuguese sweet bread, fruit, and the products in the cabinents are yours to use, no questions asked. Don't worry about dirty clothes because in the utility room is a new washer. Are you really ready for Terceira? Ask Maria. She will not only tell you she will guide you to the restaurant, like it is no big deal. The hosts know and love their island of paradise. The best part they are generous knowlegdeable people who are more than willing to share. No this is not the 5 star Hilton, this is the real thing. A fair price, cleanliness and afar an above the generosity of Maria & ArLindo who reward you with the feeling of long time friends, as the world should be.

“Wonderful villa, peaceful surroundings” We spent 2 weeks at this wonderful villa, in very peaceful surroundings, and even saw the local cork trees being harvested. Teresa and Jose were very friendly and helpful, but also didn't impose, and let you enjoy their lovely villa without intruding. The far west of the algarve is still a beautiful place to visit.

“A very relaxing and peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings e” We received a warm welcome from owners Jose and Teresa and from the start felt at home and comfortable in the villa. The villa although in the countryside is fairly close to the main supermarket and beach. This was our first holiday in portugal but will not be our last everybody is extremely friendly and welcoming and made it a holiday to remember. We would definitely recommend villa kimbo to friends and family.

“Astoundingly Good Portuguese experience” The House ( it has everything), the property ( well you have your own orchard to pick from everyday), The Location (views of Atlantic and a walk to beach!
