This is a lovely flat , it’s not for the faint hearted as it’s thee floors up ( no lift ) but once in very clean and spacious …. For two people it’s great , if two couples were to use it it’s not very practical as the glass panelling on the master bedroom offers no privacy , but for two it’s great …. There’s a few odd things in the place ,, sorry which I found odd others might not ….. there’s NO kettle , there’s a blender but no kettle … strange I thought , but continent is opposite so you can get a brew there ! There no plug on the sink and no drainage space ! And the bathroom which opens into the lounge has no lock or handle to pull the door closed !!! Very embarrassing. And last but not least …. PUT SOME MIRRORs , in the lounge or the bedrooms , there’s only one in the bathroom . It’s 5 minutes by car to the town , they have a private car park which is great , it’s quiet , ( apart from a barking dog ) but it’s a lovely place to stay … see more

We (family of 4) stayed in the villa for a week in July 2018. A great location with access to local beaches, Lisbon and also within easy reach of Comporta for a day trip. We stayed at Casa del Sol for 2 weeks. The villa is lovely. Extremely well equipped with everything you need and a whole lot more. Spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. There's not a whole lot to do in the area, unless you are into surfing, so we hired a car and went further afield. Can highly recommend a visit to Lisbon zoo. The owners Maria and José were wonderful hosts. They met us on the first day and showed us how everything worked and gave us a useful file full of information. They were available throughout our stay if we needed them, without being intrusive. All in all a lovely holiday. … see more
