“Spacious, comfortable accommodation surrounded by spectacular Scottish scenery” The property was wonderfully equipped, It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making Quinag comfortable for guests. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the mezzanine was an added bonus, space to escape and enjoy the views.
My sister and her partner brought along Ben the dog who enjoyed frequent walks around the area as there was so much to explore. We also spent an enjoyable day at Achnahaird beach and went on the summer Isle cruise which I would recommend if you are in the area. I would also recommend visiting the Fuaran Bar if you fancy eating out, cakes at the Piping school cafe are also worth stopping for.
There is a handy wee shop a couple of doors down from the house incase you forget anything. All in all everything you need for an enjoyable holiday
“Great Stay!” Recently stayed at Oceana for a family get away. Eight Adults, two babies, four dogs and there was plenty of room for all.
The house was stunning just like the view over Saundersfoot. All bedrooms were of a very generous size. The kitchen was well stocked and the children loved the playroom. The pool was 'the jewel in the crown' and enjoyed by all. We were lucky to have experienced such great weather, but had it rained the pool would have kept us entertained.
The location is perfect for a short stroll into Saunderfoot which is very beautiful and quaint. Plus there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We never drove more than a few miles for any activity.
I recommend Oceana to all.
“Very good property” The property was very clean and extremely well equipped.
The owner put in a box of toys appropriate to the child’s age.
The owner was very “picky” about no shoes in the house because of her light coloured carpets.
This was very hard going especially if going back and forward to the car packing etc
“Fantastic villa with absolutely stunning view!” I stayed in Villa Viha together with 3 friends in September 2016, and completly loved the place. It´s situated very privately just besides Nazaret, with brilliant views. It´s only 10 minutes walk from the village but it feels like your in a world of your own.
The house is huge, and the garden enormous! We all had one bedroom each and it was even one left over then. We spent most of our week in the house and around the pool, not wanting to leave the place. We hade long lazy breakfasts, went for walks in the wilderness, went back to the poolarea for drinks and snacks/light lunch, and then later on we made dinner on the BBQ by the Pool and then we played either boule in the garden or billiard inside. One day we walked to Teguise, a lovely neighbor village with plenty of restaurants and shops, and had lunch there. It is about 50 minutes quite challenging walk there since it´s plenty of uphills, going back is easier. Going to the beach by car took about 10 minutes.
Villa Viha is really well equipped, we didn´t miss anything during our stay. This is a perfect house for anyone that want to hang out with friends or family in lovely surroundings. It´s so nice so I have booked it for my 50th birtday in 2018. Then it will be 10 of us and I can´t imagine at better place to celebrate at.
“Exceeded our expectations” Find a property that is an ideal location (half way between Glouceshire and Teesside) caters for two dogs, clean and modern with added luxuries, believe it or not is harder to find than you think. However, when we stumbled upon The Dutch Barn, it seemed too good to be true. However,I am pleased to say, it is true and The Dutch Barn lives up to all the positive reviews.
On first impressions the Barn looked beautiful and was spotlessly clean. I know as a dog owner, even I am, at times, dubious of the actual standard of cleanliness with properties that a pet friendly. But please, if you don't have dogs don't let that put you off, the properly was spotless.
All the bedrooms are decorated to a high standards with gorgeous four poster beds and luxury bedding and towels. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and the complimentary bottles of wine and snacks were a lovely touch which made you feel welcome.
Jonathan and Gill were superb. I accidentally stated there were only 2 people staying at the Dutch Barn when booking, so on arrival there was only one bed made up. Jonathan visited the property on the first night to ensure we had settled in. Jonathan went out of his way to collect more bedding and make us feel at home. I think I added and extra 2 hours on his already long day, but Jonathan went out of his way to get us what we needed. Thanks again Jonathan!
The Dutch barn has a lovely enclosed front garden, which was great to make the most of the sun and you don't have to worry about the dog wandering off. To the back of the property is a courtyard where you can relax and utilise the hot tub. The hot tub was well maintained and was great to relax into after a day of walking and wandering around picturesque villages. I really can't fault this property, it is reasonably priced, great location, clean and welcoming. We will defiantly be returning to the Dutch barn in the very near future.
“REWARDING STAY IN SCENIC KESWICK COTTAGE” Booked this spacious, well equipped cottage in Keswick for a 3 night stay in November. The location is great; not far from town centre with stunning views across the immediate area. The booking procedure was very simple and guided by a considerate owner. The cottage itself lacked nothing in terms of provisions. The decor was fairly modern and clean. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. The one drawback was the 4th bedroom being with bunks which was more suited to teenage children than adults. However this is a minor gripe as the rest of the accommodation was of a high standard. The owner also offered to post a camera charger which was left behind. Will stay here again if we are back in the area.
“it does not get better than this” we booked this accomodation online in australia. It was every bit as good as the pictures looked. every thing was provided and more.we would not hesitate to recomend this cottage to anyone.just remember to take the torch with you at night to the pub.
“great location. Great views.” The Perch provided myself, husband small child and mother in law with a comfortable and homely stay.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms airy. The kitchen provided everything we needed and the garden although small had fantastic views which made us almost feel we were abroad.
The sun room was impossible to use as on the week we stayed temperatures were reaching 30 degrees outside (we were very lucky with the weather)
The Perch is a 5 min walk away from town and the beach, and a 20 min walk away from steephill cove which is a must for visitors who love natural rustic quiet beauty.
The Perch isnt perfect. It doesnt have the wow factor of some places i have stayed. It could do with a nice bbq in the garden and a little tlc here and there but we would stay there again. It is reasonably priced and the owner viv was very accommodating to requests such as allowing us to take our french bulldog archie along with us. As a family we would definitely recommend this holiday home to you.
“Best Place In Wales! 5*” Wow what can I say only that Graham & Jane run so well such an amazing sea front accommodation, they reply so fast and the very modern apartment is perfect in every way, I don't think they would ever receive a complaint, everywhere is so clean and high quality the housekeeper does a perfect job and the whole place is decorated so tasteful the artwork is amazing! When I realised the floor was heated that was a welcome surprise!
I am writing this as I sit on the balcony watching the sea right in front of me and the castle on the mountain in the background and I am already planing my return visit! Thank you so much for such a nice stay and for the welsh cakes that where a lovely surprise :)
“Fabulous House” This was our first trip to Ireland and will not be the last. The house was everything we wanted it to be and more, cozy bedrooms great living room very comfortable. Unfortunatly we were not able to take advange of the boats just not enough time. But we were able to pick fresh black berries for breakfast every morning. The locls in the bar in town are nice and very freindly. Gary and his mom are great. We were able to spend some time chatting with her in at the bar. Lots of great plaes to see.. Can't wait to come back.
“Spacious accomodation in an ideal location” Very comfortable and well equipped property in an ideal location. We really enjoyed our stay and if we did not need ground floor sleeping for elderly parents would have returned. The only down side is parking which could be challenging during the peak season.
“Lovely contemporary house ideally located for exploring the area” The house was light, airy, clean, spacious and modern. Very convenient location, only a 5 minute walk into Kenmare, and lots of interesting places within a reasonable drive in both Cork and Kerry. Carmel met us late at night, was very welcoming and had been thoughtful enough to provide us with the essentials until we could get to the shops. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
“great location, fantastic kitchen and reception rooms to catch up with friends.” Ellen was really helpful, enjoyed Litton very much, good carrot cake from the village shop. Bedrooms not large but beds new and comfortable. Bathrooms new and clean. Enjoyed our stay.
