“excellent cottage, very well equipped, good location” stayed for 5 nights at Clare Cottage, everything was excellent. Great location in Ambleside, central to exploring the Lake District. Cottage location right in town, but very quiet in a little lane behind main street. All good.
“Bliss!” Stayed for 5 nights and wanted to stay longer. Shame about the weather but to be honest we didn't go for the weather. We went for a break and it definately ticked all the boxes. Stunning location, cottage, 5* service......we couldn't fault anything. Would love to go back again. Extremely friendly owner who knew just how to give you a lovely relaxing break. Can't think of anything negative. If you are looking for a few days, week or two it is the best location. Even with the wet weather we encountered while we were staying at the cottage it was so nice to come back to the house and lay back and enjoy the St Michael Mount View!! Absolately stunning. Lovely location - nothing too far to travel to - couldn't have been better. Hope to go back sometime soon.
“We had such a lovely time” We enjoyed our stay at Rufus Cottage. The location is perfect. A pub next door with great live music on a Friday which was really good. The cottage had everything we wanted. Well stocked with plates etc. If we return to this part of the country we will stay again.
“A lovely North Norfolk Cottage” I booked this property at short notice; the owner was extremely helpful in making it available and getting back with responses to queries.
The cottage is located just off the A148, which may get busy in the summer , but was fine at the time of year we visited. I think we were only the third or fourth set of guests to stay there; it had the faint aura of paint about the place.
It has a really well equipped kitchen with a good sized oven and the table will sit 8 comfortably. We had guests round and managed to squeeze in 12.
It's got a compact games room. We made use of the pool table and found it easy to convert into a mini table tennis table.
The larger lounge has a good sized TV and the smaller lounge has an x-box to keep the younger generation happy.
The bedrooms are all decently sized; just take care on the way up and down the stairs-mind your head if you are tall. The two bathrooms (one en-suite) are well laid out.
There are plenty of games and a wide selection of books to read, in case the weather keeps you indoors.
It's well located for a number of walks around the area, including a coastal walk to Sheringham, or out onto Blakeney Spit, if you fancy more of a challenge. Weybourne beach is about a ten minute stroll away. It's a big shingle bar with sand at lower tides.
There's a nice village store about 150 yards back into the centre of the village, and the Ship Inn has good food, if you fancy a change from eating in.
Holt, Sheringham, Cromer, Blakeney are just some of the many towns and villages worth a visit in this part of the world, and do take a trip on the North Norfolk Railway.
I'd recommend this property to any of my friends.
“Comfortable peaceful cottage” I visited Broadway with two friends on a garden and gallery getaway break! We found The Old Grocery clean, comfortable and located on a very quiet and pretty road. It was great to have the outside space as we were lucky enough to experience a heatwave! We were but a few minutes walk away from all the great amenities of Broadway - including really nice shops and galleries, fab pubs for our evening meals, and an amazing deli. There are countless pretty villages within a short drive and at least four wonderful gardens equally close. We all really enjoyed our stay.
“The Best Honeymoon I Could Wish For” The Old School House sits next to a church in a beautiful, quiet countryside. The idyllic environment lends itself to utter relaxation while supplying all the modern amenities to keep guests comfortable. The host does an exemplary job of catering to visitors' needs while also supplying a basket of local goodies to welcome you. With a location just down the road from a grocer and no more than twenty minutes drive to local Cotswold towns, this proved to be the best base for day travels and the wisest self-catering option for any guest.
“Wonderful Cottage in an idyllic location.” Mia's Cottage was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a few days away.
John was very pleasant and helpful, he had the fire blazing for our arrival along with some fresh eggs that were much appreciated!
The area is remote and beautiful and all the beaches are accessible by travelling a short distance by car or bike!
The local neighbours were very friendly.
All correspondence and communication from the owner was excellent.
“Fantastic place for a family celebration” We rented old bridge cottage for a long weekend to celebrate my parents' ruby wedding anniversary. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay with plenty of space for the 6 kids and 8 adults. The hot tub was a particular hit with the children! The location of the cottage is superb and within 5 mins drive of moors valley and walking distance into town. I would highly recommend old bridge cottage for family gatherings (or any other occasion).
“Fantastic!” A beautiful cottage which is well looked after and in a great spot. Very comfortable and was not overlooked at all when using hot tub. Owners were very helpful and friendly from booking onwards. Hope to return!!
“Perfect seaside location” Fantastic stay

Beautifully looked after comfertable and clean
Home from home adding luxury and comfort to a beautiful seaside stay
“A fantastic holiday cottage in a lovely location” Very well equipped cottage and beautifully kept . Nice to have a swimming pool on site. In easy reach if Northumberland coast and access to the great hill walking too .
“Excellent place to stay” The Bothy is conveniently placed for all the facilities of Lyndhurst. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy and very well appointed in terms of everything we needed for a comfortable week. It was peaceful and quiet. We would recommend the Bothy to anyone who is thinking of visiting Lyndhurst. If we ever visit the New Forest again we would gladly stay at The Bothy again
“Fantastic break, just what was needed!” We needed a break from planning an imminent wedding and Noss Mayo, and 75 Creekside, proved to be the perfect place for this. Having grown up in south Devon it was also great to come back after a few years of not visiting.
Annabel the owner was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to emails, even whilst on holiday herself. This was much appreciated and helped us make the booking as quickly as possible.
On arrival the cottage was immaculate and we were delighted with the location within Noss Mayo, being very close to the estuary. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable with a nice patio garden that collects the afternoon sun.
Noss Mayo itself has two pubs which we frequented regularly! The Ship Inn is great for late afternoon drinks and the food is very high quality (amazing fish and chips!). As the sun descends we made our way around the valley to The Swan Inn which is in the sun until late and you can sit on the harbour/jetty and soak up the last rays.
The walk around the headland past Cellar Beach is very scenic. The beach itself was busy on a sunny Saturday, but I imagine quieter on a weekday. Bantham beach is an old family favourite so we made the 30-40 min drive a couple of times and it was well worth it.
All in all we had a great trip and would hope to be back in the future.
“Chillaxed” Myself husband and two dogs stayed at the cottage in October, as we wanted to combine a holiday with visits to family in Stockport ( we come from the Highlands )
We totally loved it, the dogs felt relaxed with plenty of places to walk. The cottage was clean, warm with lovely peak views, and a comfortable double bed. All the basics you need were left in the cottage for use and felt like a wee home from home. We will deffo be going back again.
“Everything you need” This is the second year we have spent christmas at the cottage and totally love it, it's so relaxing just switch of and enjoy,
The cottage is so well equipped don't need to bring a thing with you,it's so warm and cosy, perfect position in the heart of the village,a lot going on even in winter, would highly recommend, and will return this year at some point,
Thank you once again Dianne who's so helpful.
“Excellent” Coed Stable is a wonderful place to stay. It is the perfect place for a relaxing break. The stable has been renovated to a very high specification and we loved the attention to detail. Lots to do in the area, we will definitely book to stay here again in the future.
“FANTASTIC COTTAGE GREAT PLACE PEACEFULL” Great cottage, very friendly family owners made you very welcome perfect location overlooking fields quiet and peacefull but a great base to visit various parts of Anglesey Also had a very friendly dog and the free range eggs and the welsh cake were delicious Will visit again
“Beautifull ,... Light ...Airy...... Great Vibe about this cottage” Bridge Cottage..... It`s location is amazing, quiet and only a short 15 - 20 min walk into Restaurants shops & bars of Keswick. Cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly require ( even down to a garlic press, tea towels, dish clothes dish washer tablets etc ) The cottage is extremely light and airy, great little outdoor area at the front of cottage and the river Greta running outside your fantastic new contemporary kitchen, we had a MARVELOUS stay, the owners Mike & Sally (who are just amazing hosts, where nothing was to much trouble) were on hand if we needed anything, before and during our stay. We would return to Bridge Cottage in a Heart Beat.
“Total relaxation and pleasure” We had a wonderful time staying at Tourne. The gite is small but very well organised so it was fine for four adults (as long as at least two are agile as the stairs are steep). Everything we needed was provided and Paula and Ram could not have been more helpful, but did not intrude on our privacy in any way. The wood burning stove took the chill off the gite for the cold nights and the sun shone brightly during the days. There are lovely walks from the gite or, if you drive a short distance, you can get to higher mountains with snow covered peaks. As dog lovers, being able to borrow Baton and Nightwing for walks was the icing on the cake! Chez Victor is within easy walking distance for a genuine French meal. The local shop provided the basics and supermarket was only a 15 minute easy drive away.
“Perfect for us.....” Ideal accommodation for my elderly mother, my brother and myself having easy access all on ground floor ( apart from one step down into end utility / dressing room ). Warm welcome from our host, Debbi, who although on hand to answer any queries, was not intrusive. Cannot praise accommodation too highly . It was spacious, well equipped, exceptionally clean and had everything anyone could possibly need for a short break in the pretty village of Wysall. WiFi was a bit & miss. This didn't really bother us as we were constantly out and about visiting family in the area. You definately need transport if staying here as the nearest mid size supermarket was in East Leake about 2 miles away. Plus it is such a rural area it is so much easier to get about in a car. Would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again soon.
