“Great Place with stunning view over the bay” We came for the second time this year to this marvellous place, this time again for 10 nights. The view from the balcony over the bay with hundreds of sailing boats is wonderful and romantic, and as we could not go out for dinner because of our toddler, we were able to eat dinner on our balcony every night, so we had a great time here and had one of the best places of the village I believe. The kitchen is fully furnished, with a microwave with oven function and coffee maker. It is great to have a clohes washer, so we could leave some of the kid´s clothes at home - drying the clothes on the balcony in summer time is no problem. Moreover, the appartment is very close to the train station, and Monaco (approx.15 min) and Nice (approx.7 min) are not far at all. We will come back for sure - this is a real insiders´tip!!!
“Comfortable, value for money rental in good location” Clean, comfortable and for a studio, very spacious and bright. Wonderful view over harbour from balcony which enjoys sun until late afternoon. Supermarket, bars and restaurants just next door.
Quite a lot of steps and a steep hill to and from harbour and town so I would not consider it suitable for people with restricted mobility.
“ideal base for exploring the costa del sol” The description of the accommodation from the owner was very accurate.
Even towards the end of the season the accommodation was clean and tidy
Situated in a front line hotel the is a fine view over the gardens and the promenade to the sea;
There are a large number of restaurants around the hotel and the prices are very good
Situated about 200 meters from Banelmadena marina there id all the nightlife you could ever want
“A great value holiday” From getting to and from Malaga airport everything was so affordable. The train from the airport to the Arroyo was 20 minute journey and less than € 2. it was then a 10 minute walk from Arroyo station to the Agata apartments. Picked up the keys from the reception with no problems from the friendly staff.
The views from the apartment are fantastic, it was all was very clean and very comfortable with everything you need for a short or long stay. The cafe bars are just opposite the Agata there is the Wine bar for great tapas, Stentons for good English food, a cheap Chinese for sit in or take aways and Sizzlers for there € 1.20 a pint happy hours.
“A bijou hideaway in a magical setting.” Enjoyed three nights at 'Little Owl', the perfect getaway for two to go. Excellent instructions from the hosts, which meant that the cottage was very easy to find despite arriving in the dark, with a very atmospheric drive along a bumpy track on the last leg. In a rural setting with quite spectacular views, the cottage is well situated, in easy reach of the beautiful forest of dean and with walks right on your doorstep. The most impressive thing about this bijou studio apartment is the way it has been set out - small, it non-the less feels spacious, with designated areas for bed-room, kitchen-diner, lounge and shower-room. A modern extension, the apartment is in the roof-space of an out-building and a cosy nest-up-in the roof effect. It is very well equipped, with all the kitchen utensils you can need, and very thoughtful touches like a local map, torch and tray for muddy boots! For three nights, we paid much less than we would have paid at the bed and breakfast we were originally thinking at staying at, and enjoyed the sense of freedom self-catering offers. If you are someone who needs the internet as a security blanket you may find the WiFi connection a problem - I couldn't connect at all while we where there - but in such a magical place who needs it! Quality and very good value accommodation. We are looking forward to returning in warmer months so we can sit out on the bench on the porch and enjoy a glass of wine!
“The Perfect Provencal Apartment” This is not the typical vacation rental property. Everything in the apartment was carefully chosen by the gracious owner with a guest's ultimate comfort in mind. This apartment was in reality lovelier than the advertisement and photographs portrayed.
The owner herself lives on the property and speaks multiple languages. She will become your favorite amenity this location offers. She promptly answered our emails and offered many suggestions as to the must-sees that only a Provencal local would know. Even her neighbors are friendly and helpful.
The chef in the group is going to have a difficult choice each day of what to prepare from the fabulous fruits/vegetables grown locally, artisanal breads, cheeses, and wines of this region. The choice becomes even more difficult upon return from food shopping when the decision of where to cook---either indoors in the well-appointed kitchen or outside under the covered terrace in the outdoor kitchen. Either choice makes for a relaxing holiday in the Southern French countryside. We will definitely return!
“Mr.” I'm a serial user of holiday lettings so with no doubt could say - Lisa is the best accommodation peovider ever. The FOG is quite small but very cosy and clean apartment. Lisa was so kind to surprise us with delicious cookies, fruit juce, milk and other small things in the fridge at the arrival. The garden outside is fantastic. We definitely will stay here again!
