Solsidans bed and breakfast
This has to be the most memorable holiday for both myself and my daughters, not just because of the amazing location but also because of the extremely welcoming, kind and generous family who run the B&B. They catered for all our needs and much more; from providing for our dietary needs (vegan/vegetarian) to offering lifts to and from the airport and into town- it was not dissimilar from staying with friends.
Each morning we had a lovely breakfast on the deck in the sunshine and swam in the refreshing Baltic Sea. My children enjoyed rowing and kayaking too and spending time on their little private, sandy beach. They also have a little dog-Texas and 2 rabbits.
A great highlight was having outdoor saunas in the evening, followed by a plunge/ swim in the sea- it was delightful!
Walking in the nearby woods is also a must- the scenery is spectacular and depending on the season there are blueberries and mushrooms to pick! We had a lovely tour of the city on arrival and spent a couple of days sight seeing too.
This place is a gem and we are sure to return- Thank you very much for your immense hospitality and thoughtfulness, the little chats and your lovely company. Myself and my children have returned home feeling very relaxed and glowing from all the saunas- it was like a spa!
