Stylish & modern apartment, super central #406
Lovely place, very close to Oslo Central
We had a lovely time at the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the sofa bed.
There was 6 of us staying and there was enough space for us all. The single beds seem a bit small compared to a normal single bed but it was still comfortable.
The upstairs room has 2 sky lights so there was plenty of light throughout the apartment.
My only criticism is that there was no soap, shower gel or shampoo which I think are the basics. Tea and coffee would have been nice too since the facilities to make them were there.
The apartment was warm even without the heating on. However, you can hear noise from the streets, mainly the trams which start early in the morning.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. If I was in Oslo again I would probably stay closer to the harbour because there was a nicer vibe in that area. …
Bygdøy Bed & Breakfast studio 30m2
This Studio is a perfect little pearl on the beautiful peninsula across the bay from the city center and only few minutes away from some very interesting museums. By ferry you reach the center within minutes. The hosts are two very helpful and lovely people. We enjoyed our stay sooo much! …
Elverum Bed'n Breakfast
Excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Elverum Norway
A beautiful, spacious apartment in the centre of Elverum! A large bedroom with a comfortable bed! Wonderful breakfasts consisting of traditional Norwegian foods! We received a warm welcome from the owners and excellent tourist information for the surrounding area! We visited Oslo, Hamar and Loiten Lys! In Elverum we visited the Norsk Skogmuseum and Glomdalsmuseet, the Galgeberg Parken and Christianfjeld Festning! In the evenings we enjoyed eating at various restaurants which were in walking distance of the apartment! We really enjoyed our stay! …
Holiday apartment Engelsviken
Scandi-style comfort - highly recommended.
Engelsviken is a really quiet, totally relaxing place to stay. The apartment is just a stroll away from a beautiful coastline. You need a car if you want to explore further. We visited Oslo and Fredrikstad, and we found some gorgeous, unspoilt beaches to visit. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. We loved it! …
Villa Heidi ❤️ outdoor hot tub, sauna, large terrace - 1H from Oslo
Beautiful family freindly villa
We absolutely loved Villa Heidi!
With just a half hour drive from the airport, we found the villa very easy following the directions provided.
Once we had arrived, we were amazed by how beautiful it was. Set in a lovely location overlooking the trees and lake.
Villa Heidi was clean and very well equipped for a self catering holiday. We stayed over Christmas. Tormod and Heidi had gone to the extra effort of decorating the house for us with a Christmas tree and decorations throughout. They were very thoughtful in leaving each of us a little Christmas gift under the tree.
We were two families, with 5 children between us (ages between 11 & 4) the house was perfect, with plenty of room and a separate lounge and TV upstairs allowing lots of space for everyone.
The garden was great for the children, with a climbing frame for them to use. We were fortunate enough for lots of snow fall during our stay, leaving perfect picturesque views & for the children to have fun in the snow!
We drove from the Villa to Hamar and Oslo, as well as catching the train to Lillehammer.
The outside hot tub was used most days by everyone!
On our last afternoon, we walked down to the park where the children built their snowmen, whilst we lit the fire using the communal BBQ area, watched the sunset and cooked some hot dogs, it was a perfect way to enjoy our last evening in Norway!
We looked forward to returning one day for sure! …
Unique seafront property in Oslo
We stayed for 3 nights at the end of January. I cannot recommend this property enough. The photos of the inside of the property are accurate, but the photos of the views just dont do it justice. The views are incredible!
The location is just of a main road with excellent bus connections, but it is set back enough from the road to not ruin the peaceful location. One short bus journey into the city centre. The bus service was regular and reliable.
It is wonderfully cosy inside the property, even whilst outside was very cold, we remained lovely and warm inside. The kitchen is well equipped, with a shop around a 10 minute walk away. There is also a lovely coastal walk not far that is well worth doing.
Truls and Kare are wonderful hosts, taking the time to greet you and ensure you have everything you need. They also provide an information pack with transportation guides and recommended activities, thatvwas really informative.
Our only negative to our stay is that it wasn't long enough. We would definietly go back! I would recommened anyone looking to visit Oslo, to stay here. …
Superb accommodation in a quiet and peaceful location right on the fjord. Well stocked Spar shop nearby (better than UK Spar shops!!). The gorgeous house has everything you could possibly wish for - jacuzzi bath room, another shower and bath room, well equipped large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with beautiful views of the fjord and mountains, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, very nicely furnished and decorated and the boat house is a wonderful bonus - row/motor boats are available, fishing rods and lures, hand lines, kayaks, life jackets. We caught lots of codling (biggest was 2.5kg - pier and boat), the biggest mackerel we have ever seen (from the private pier) and a 3.5kg Pollack (from the boat) which put up a great fight! - all these fishes were delicious! (we put quite a lot back by the way). The landscape and nature here is fabulous, we were lucky enough to see an Oyster Catcher nest by the boathouse and all three eggs hatched while we were there, plus we saw a huge white tailed eagle and an otter!! Heron's, ducks, turns, etc!! Our hosts Martinus and Astrid are lovely, friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome but respected our privacy. Martinus is an excellent source of local knowledge and can help you plan any trips that you wish to make - we visited Gerainger Fjord, Alesund and the Atlantic Highway for example. We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend this accommodation and its wonderful hosts. Very happy!! Thank you Martinus and Astrid!! …

SEAFRONT MODERN LUXURY!
Contemporary Norwegian style in one of Europe's most dynamic cities.
We stayed in this stylish apartment for a week. It is in an ideal location in the new waterfront development next door to a famous boutique hotel. It is very convenient, comfortable, and well furnished. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the immediate neighbourhood, all very cool. The whole area attracts an obviously well off young crowd of locals as well as lots of tourists. The Astrup-Fearnley gallery is also right beside the apartment building; the building itself a striking sculptural exhibit. Not least the neighbouring bakery has fabulous coffee and goodies.
Oslo is exceptionally rich in galleries and museums, with exciting special exhibitions as well as outstanding collections. Do not fail to visit the City Hall, you can just walk in and join a guided tour, there is no need to arrange in advance. The most exciting public building of its type I have seen.
It is easy to spend a fortune in Oslo. But this apartment offers exceptional value for money and allows you the option of cooking for yourself at least part of the time in an economical way.
And, of course, the ki jump just outside town is worth the short train ride. A spectacular view and if you feel very brave you can try the zip wire descent from the top - rather you than me, I felt frightened just watching other people! …
