Stylish & modern apartment, super central #406
Lovely place, very close to Oslo Central

We had a lovely time at the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the sofa bed. There was 6 of us staying and there was enough space for us all. The single beds seem a bit small compared to a normal single bed but it was still comfortable. The upstairs room has 2 sky lights so there was plenty of light throughout the apartment. My only criticism is that there was no soap, shower gel or shampoo which I think are the basics. Tea and coffee would have been nice too since the facilities to make them were there. The apartment was warm even without the heating on. However, you can hear noise from the streets, mainly the trams which start early in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If I was in Oslo again I would probably stay closer to the harbour because there was a nicer vibe in that area.see more
Unique seafront property in Oslo
Highly recommended

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of January. I cannot recommend this property enough. The photos of the inside of the property are accurate, but the photos of the views just dont do it justice. The views are incredible! The location is just of a main road with excellent bus connections, but it is set back enough from the road to not ruin the peaceful location. One short bus journey into the city centre. The bus service was regular and reliable. It is wonderfully cosy inside the property, even whilst outside was very cold, we remained lovely and warm inside. The kitchen is well equipped, with a shop around a 10 minute walk away. There is also a lovely coastal walk not far that is well worth doing. Truls and Kare are wonderful hosts, taking the time to greet you and ensure you have everything you need. They also provide an information pack with transportation guides and recommended activities, thatvwas really informative. Our only negative to our stay is that it wasn't long enough. We would definietly go back! I would recommened anyone looking to visit Oslo, to stay here.see more
Highend mountain cabin. 30 % discount on currency
Perfect setting, we loved every minute

Just the two of us went to get away from 'other people' and escape the daily grind of working in London. This place really hit the mark - we can't recommend this cabin highly enough. Right from our first enquiry, the owner, Peter, was helpful and friendly and continued to answer our questions by email before and even during our stay. The cabin has a superb open plan kitchen dinner with a real fire. The entire place has underfloor heating which is lovely. We went in the jacuzzi and sauna every day and lazed the afternoons away. The cabin has a fantastic view and is very quiet during the week. At the weekends, the neighbours turned up. Again, very friendly but they kept themselves to themselves (which we liked). The cabin is well equipped with fishing gear (the river is 1 minute away and perfect for walks) , rugs, dvds (in english), games etc. There's no wifi but you can get a good 3G signal. Most of the TV is in english including films and series - it seems to be mostly popular british stuff and there are hundreds of channels. Our only criticism was that there wasn't a wood store - Peter kindly emailed to say where we could buy some but it would be a nice touch to add this so that guests don't have to worry about it. The nearest major town is Geilo which is definitely worth a trip. It's a superb drive over the mountain and the views are incredible (a 4x4 is highly recommended - we had a Honda insight and this didn't really cut it!). Make sure you walk up the hill as most of the shops are hidden behind the front row on the main road. Food and drink in Norway are not cheap compared to the UK so be prepared to spend a little more than you would at home. Overall - a perfect setting for our 8 day break. Peter made it all effortless for us and we'd definitely go back - probably take the whole family next time.see more
SEAFRONT MODERN LUXURY!
Contemporary Norwegian style in one of Europe's most dynamic cities.

We stayed in this stylish apartment for a week. It is in an ideal location in the new waterfront development next door to a famous boutique hotel. It is very convenient, comfortable, and well furnished. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the immediate neighbourhood, all very cool. The whole area attracts an obviously well off young crowd of locals as well as lots of tourists. The Astrup-Fearnley gallery is also right beside the apartment building; the building itself a striking sculptural exhibit. Not least the neighbouring bakery has fabulous coffee and goodies. Oslo is exceptionally rich in galleries and museums, with exciting special exhibitions as well as outstanding collections. Do not fail to visit the City Hall, you can just walk in and join a guided tour, there is no need to arrange in advance. The most exciting public building of its type I have seen. It is easy to spend a fortune in Oslo. But this apartment offers exceptional value for money and allows you the option of cooking for yourself at least part of the time in an economical way. And, of course, the ki jump just outside town is worth the short train ride. A spectacular view and if you feel very brave you can try the zip wire descent from the top - rather you than me, I felt frightened just watching other people!see more
