“A wonderful week.” I stayed with my daughter and 9 month old grandson at this very child friendly property. Alessandra was a warm, welcoming and friendly host. We were greeted with a cake from the local bakers and a cold bottle of water in the fridge

Why Tuscany?

Magnetic and charismatic, Tuscany has it all: extraordinary countryside, glorious coast, fabulous rustic food, and the world’s best art. Not bad for a region only a tad bigger than Wales. Whether you choose fascinating Florence or rural Pitigliano, you’ll never look back.

Fine Art & Even Finer Wine

This region of central Italy holds some of the world’s most important artistic treasures, including Michelangelo’s statue of David and many Botticelli masterpieces in the galleries of Florence. But art isn’t the only human creation celebrated here: the rolling hills surrounding the city are covered by a blanket of vineyards, their neat lines disappearing to the horizon.

Picturesque Panoramas

Throw open the windows of your villa or apartment in Tuscany and you’re pretty much guaranteed a jaw-dropping view. This could be the majestic peaks of the Apennine Mountains or the white sandy beaches of the Tuscan Archipelago’s islands, including Elba and Giannutri. Don’t miss the coastal clifftop villages of Cinque Terre, either, where narrow streets, colourful houses and pretty squares show a nostalgic side of Italy.

Flavours

Cookery classes are a favourite activity for visitors to Tuscany, eager to learn the basics to take home as an everlasting souvenir. Wasting food is a big no-no in Tuscany, so many of the region’s best-loved dishes, like Panzaletta and Ribolita, include stale bread and lashings of olive oil (harvested from groves scattered across the countryside). Another of the region’s famous exports is the rare and expensive truffle.

charming cottage in peaceful country setting sleeps 2-6
Perfect Location and Lovely Hostess

The location is fantastic close to everything. The home is wonderful and so is the Hostess. My husband and I rent a home in Italy every year but this was our favorite location and home. We had everything we needed including a lovely patio to have a glass of wine and relax every night. Our Hostess was fantastic and honestly I am happy we meet Laura. We will be back for sure. Thank you Laura for making our stay great. see more
Design and style in Ponte Vecchio
Tastefully renovated apartment with lots of character in perfect location.

Just what I was looking for ! I stayed 9 nights in the apartment, which was perfectly situated, not only within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, but also to make the visitor feel part of the bustling and vibrant city. Restaurants are everywhere, but the apartment had such a well-equipped kitchen that it was a pleasure to shop in the nearby local markets and prepare meals at home. Notice I said "at home" - very much the feeling that the place gives you from the start. I found the welcome from the owner most warm and charming, and would like to return, not necessarily to tick off more sights, but simply to enjoy the pleasure of being in such a lovely place. see more
Luxury Central Apartment. Panoramic Terrace. WiFi. Elevator. AC in all rooms.
Amazing apartment - Just Book It!

If this wonderful apartment is available for your dates, just book it! The rooftop terrace has sensational views of the whole city of Florence. The two bedrooms were spacious (more than usual for Italy) and had views of the Duomo. There are 3 baths (one with jacuzzi). There was a washer AND a dryer (the only one we had in Italy). Very modern kitchen with dishwasher. Elevator. The place was furnished to perfection and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Great location - we walked everywhere. Cesare, the host was an amazing gentleman - a mine of information and very helpful. He does not live in the building but was available 24/7. This is a big apartment spread over 2 floors - we had space to spread out. see more

Tuscan Farmhouse on Olive Farm 30 minutes from Florence (sleeps 11)
Tranquility at it's best!

We (a party of 3 families, 6 adults and 4 children) had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful Tuscan Farmhouse. Mark and Vaida were the most hospitable hosts and allowed us the opportunity to partake in evening drinks with them at the main house and gave us a glimpse into life on a Olive Farm, which was fascinating. The surrounding area is simply stunning and must have been Tuscany at it's best. There is a small village up the hill and by the main house and a recently restored church which all added to the character and was simply lovely. We chose to take the scenic route to Casalguidi, flying into Pisa so that we could see the sights, then the train to Pistoia via Florence. Getting around Italy is very cheap and easy to do, even with 10 of us! We then picked up a hire car from Pistoia and made the short 15 minute journey to the farmhouse. 7 of us took the bus which cost less than 20 Euros between us. One day we were also able to get the train into Florence to experience the sights there, which was about 40 minutes on the train. I am sure we could have done much more, but the tranquility of the villa kept us there! It really is stunning. With a beautiful pool, outdoor bbq, veranda, games room, plenty of space to lose yourself the only reason to leave was to stock up on provisions! The village is within walking distance, albeit the way back to the house is via a steep incline, but doable nonetheless when there is a reward of Gelata at the bottom of the hill! I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa to anyone that enjoys tranquility, beauty and a rustic traditional farmhouse. Mark, Vaida - thank you from all of us, we had a lovely time. Apologies for the lateness in the review... see more

Florentine Delight

The perfect location in central Florence, within a few minutes walk of the Arno, great Piazzas and high fashion stores and markets. Beautifully decorated, and presented with great style. Extremely clean and comfortable. Lorenzo's attention from time of booking, to us leaving, has been very kind and attentive. Will return. see more
