Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“A lovely villa in beautiful surroundings.” We have recently returned from our first holiday in Tuscany with our two young sons and all agree that we will return to this area again. The villa although a short drive into Casole was situated amongst olive groves and vineyards giving us the seclusion and tranquility we wanted. The villa itself was comfortable and very well equipped, Daniella the owner was also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A highlight of the holiday was Daniells's invitation to her village to enjoy homemade pizza and wine with the locals!
Casole D'Elsa is only about 5 minutes in the car and there are a number of restaurants and bars. It's a beautiful village and well worth taking your time to explore and take in the breathtaking scenery. We would recommend this villa to other families and can't wait to return ourselves.
“A great place to relax” After a day spent travelling from London we arrived hot and weary but the first sight of Casa Del Nonni lifted our spirits, set in a lovely garden with views across the Tuscan hills. Our teenage daughters wasted no time getting into the inviting pool!! This is a great place to relax, lots of places to sit outside to either seek the sun or keep in the shade. It also proved to be a great place from which to tour Tuscany. Within easy reach are the towns of Siena, Voltare, Mass Maritime, Casole d'Elsa and many more. Firenze was just over an hours drive away- parking at the Piazzale Michel Angelo is free and provides the most amazing view over the city and Pisa - a two hour drive was worth it to see the Torre Pendante.
Daniella and her husband Francisco were excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble - including an offer to do any washing we needed as there was no washing machine available whilst we were there.
The house was lovely - it felt like a home rather than a holiday rental. We were pleased there was no TV or DVD available - for us it would have spoilt the magic of the place. A car is essential.
By the end of the week we were genuinely sorry to say good bye and wished we had booked a fortnight. We had a great time and would happily recommend to others,
