“Best Villa on amalfi Coast” We stayed at Casetta di Marmorata for one week in September. The place is really the best you can find on the whole amalfi Coast. From the terrace you have an impressive panorama view over Minori and Maiori, which are both very close by. To Minori you can even walk. But really the best is the private access to the sea. However, you have to bear in mind that you only have sun until 4 pm in September. If you want to lay in the sun longer, you can still go to Maiori Beach, which is the biggest on the whole amalfi Coast. In the appartment you find everything you need and Franco was very helpful in organizing i.e. boat rentals. We can fully recommend this place and would always go there again. Great compliments to Valeria and Franco for organizing such a beautiful stay for us!!! P.S. I would only recommend this place for people in a good physical condition, because you have to walk a lot of stairs in order to reach the appartment. It is not suited at all for disabled people.

“that's how to feel at home” I have been staying at Napoli forever for a fortnight and I felt completely at ease. The apartment is comfortable and beautiful, with a lot of collectible things. it is very well decorated and with anything you could need during your stay. The landlady is very helpful and kind. Naples is more than beautiful, so rich in works of art and sightseeings. I can absolutely recommend the host and the town.

Campania holidays

“Sun loungers, swaying palms and devilishly good food by the sea…” Welcome to Campania, where the streets are full of character and charm, and the living is easy. A stroll along the coast is all it takes to fall in love with Italy’s most magical region. Ready to discover it for yourself? Here’s our community’s pick of the best…

CULTURE

A trip to Campania is la dolce vita epitomised, just as Hollywood depicted it. To discover the region’s incredible story, however, you’ll need to start at its fascinating museums and villages. Rumour has it Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte and Museo Campano are amongst the best.

DREAM CUISINE

“Nothing can beat the food.” Soft mozzarella, arancini, croquettes, macaroni and pizza to end all pizzas. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home at one of Campania’s local restaurants. Good wine, mind-blowing dishes and a friendly welcome is guaranteed.

BY THE COAST

The Mediterranean has, arguably, never looked so good. Whether you’re admiring the azure seas from a sun-drenched piazza or catching some rays down by the ocean, Campania’s coastline is surely one of the best in the world.

Province of Naples

Known for its gritty urban areas and archaeological treasures, Naples is a destination on the rise. If you’re pursuit of authenticity, you’ll find it in abundance here. Thanks to its enviable coastal location and centuries of gastronomic excellence, Italy’s third-largest city is home to the country’s most delicious pizza, coffee and seafood dishes.

Amalfi Coast

The pastel-hued buildings of the Amalfi Coast reign supreme on Pinterest boards across the world. Yes, it’s undoubtedly one of the world’s prettiest corners. The coastline’s series of soaring cliffs, olive groves, lemon terraces and tumbling villages all boast views of shimmering azure sea. And then there’s the fresh ravioli…

Province of Salerno

Salerno is a city of contrasts. Medieval churches sit alongside tattoo parlours, trendy bars are set in post-war buildings. Here, the history is rich and reinvention is rampant. Take the new ferry terminal, for example, designed by renowned British architect Zaha Hadid. Or the coastline, adorned with tempting restaurants and trattorias.

Province of Caserta

Sprawling green hills and incredible art are the order of the day in Caserta. Once admired by the Romans for the awe-inspiring amount of natural beauty, a drive around the region is one green-pine forest or orchard after the other. But it’s not just a pretty face. The local area is home to folkloric traditions and multiple Medieval villages.

ART OF LIVING HOLIDAY HOUSE
Wonderful apartment

The booking process was simple and Donatello communicated with us before and during our trip. Not too much but just enough to provide useful information, and support if we needed it (like when we might have needed a doctor for our daughter). The apartment was fully air conditioned and lovely and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the place was perfect for us. Being quite near the train station was great for our day trips and it was also easy to walk into the centre and to the ports. Thank you.see more
CASA TIZZANI - wide roof terrace with sea view in the center
Thank you for a fantastic holiday, perfect in every way.

Having waited over two years to actually get to Caza Tizzani, we weren't dissapointed. The Villa is situated in Santa Agata which was a hectic little town, but once off of the busy main road you encounter some lovely bars restaurants and shops which are all easily reached on foot. Antonio, the owner met us at the villa and allowed us to leave our luggage as we were way ahead of checking in time. The Villa itself is beautiful, and very spacious easily housing 6 adults. It was spotlessly clean, with crisp bedding and superbly comfy beds. Antonio and his assistant Valeria couldn't have been more helpful, and I can't thank them both enough. They were always on hand with advice regarding trips and areas to visit. Valeria went out of her way to ensure we had transport booked, especially to and from the Airport, which made getting around so much easier and stress free. She was also on hand at any time to book trips and excursions. Our most memorable being Capri, which is not to be missed, thanks to her contacts at the boat hire, we were treated to fun and laughter and personal service provided by Giovanni and Vincenzo. There is ready access by bus (although at times a little hairy!) to Sorrento, Positano, Naples and Almalfi, and if you're adventurous, and able, you can visit some beautiful little coves where little boats serve cold drinks and snacks, worth the slog. As we didn't get to everything we would have liked to we will definitely be revisiting, and hopefully Antonio will be happy to have us back.see more
Casa Mamì - Positano
Great apartment in a great location

The apartment is in a great location, it's very central, close to boutiques, a grocery store, a nice wine store and a bakery. It's spacious with a large balcony with water views. Our host Anna was very helpful and sent us videos on how to use the appliances, access the lockbox etcetera. She also gave us recommendations on restaurants and car services to get us to and from Naples, she also just checked in with us on occasion via texts to ask if we needed anything or had any questions. She's extremely helpful and caring.see more
The Chair
Quirky, comfortable stay in great location

First praise has to be to Maria, who is welcoming, warm and knowledgable about her city. And to her son, Stefano, who gave some great information too. La Sedia is a lovely apartment giving on to the courtyard of an old palazzo. The bedroom has its own flower-covered balcony, which is a real treat. Maria's interesting artwork is everywhere, and gives a quirky feel to the place. The location is excellent - easy for metro, funicular railway and even just to walk to the Quartieri Spagnoli or the Centro Antico. The bed was super comfortable. It is true that the shower room is very small, so perhaps for a larger person this may be a problem, but I found it quite manageable and the water pressure in the shower was a dream! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Naples and at la Sedia. Thank you, Maria!see more
LIMONETO GARGIULO
Amazing Place!

We had such a great week staying at Limoneto Gargiulo. Salvatore and his family were so friendly and welcoming. The view from the balcony is incredible over Sorrento and Vesuvius. The place was lovely and clean, and Salvatore had so many great recommendations for food, visits and so on. Highly recommended!!see more
Vietri
Wonderful Property to stay in.

We had a wonderful holiday here celebrating my 'special' birthday. We were able to travel around the area using trains and buses and throughly enjoyed visits to Pompeii, Ravello, Salerno and the local beach. There is a nice little Carrefour Express in Salerno that had everything we needed when we arrived on the Sunday and was open until 9pm. The local beach is a delight and the bakery 5 minutes down the hill to the right was delicious and super friendly. The views out of the windows are amazing and we barely used the terrace, as we sat on the bedroom balcony most mornings - away from the children! There are steps to take you up to the town. They are very steep and a proper workout, but my tummy is much flatter having walked up them every day. The showers cover about 3 people and then you have to let them heat up again which takes about 30 mins. The shower never gets that cold even if the hot water has gone so the temperature may be ideal for you in the hot Italian weather. It wasn't a problem for us as we were on holiday time anyway. Bianca was a delight to deal with and was always available on WhatsApp to help with any questions. A big thank you to Alberto too for sorting out any issues locally and especially for taking us and our luggage up to the train station on check out. The photos do not do the apartment justice. We will miss it like you wouldn't believe.see more
