Holiday villa with swimming pool in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi

Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi villa

5 bedrooms / 9 bathrooms / sleeps 10

“Italian Vacation at its finest!!” Our family stayed at Villa Ciuffo for about 3 weeks. We took trips to Capri, Agropoli, and numerous trips to near by Sorrento. The house was filled with great amenities and had plenty of space for 10 people. The villa is very private, clean, and well kept daily by cleaning staff. The pool and outdoor areas are fantastic for the warm summer weather and were very well maintained. The location is good because it is just a few minute walk to the center of Sant'agata where there are stores and restaurants. We had wonderful meals with Carmine as our cook and great excursions with him as our tour guide. He took care of all the arrangements to and from Capri with a private boat charter and also made reservations for us at exclusive Don alfonso and Relais Blue restaurants. The villa and amenities provided by Carmine were first class and we look forward to another trip to Sorrento very soon. Grazie Carmine!

“Excellent” Loved staying for 5 nights in this modern and airy apartment right in the centre of Sorrento. The apt was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The elevator was wonderful after a busy day of walking. Stefania was very helpful with suggestions.

Campania holidays

“Sun loungers, swaying palms and devilishly good food by the sea…” Welcome to Campania, where the streets are full of character and charm, and the living is easy. A stroll along the coast is all it takes to fall in love with Italy’s most magical region. Ready to discover it for yourself? Here’s our community’s pick of the best…

CULTURE

A trip to Campania is la dolce vita epitomised, just as Hollywood depicted it. To discover the region’s incredible story, however, you’ll need to start at its fascinating museums and villages. Rumour has it Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte and Museo Campano are amongst the best.

DREAM CUISINE

“Nothing can beat the food.” Soft mozzarella, arancini, croquettes, macaroni and pizza to end all pizzas. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home at one of Campania’s local restaurants. Good wine, mind-blowing dishes and a friendly welcome is guaranteed.

BY THE COAST

The Mediterranean has, arguably, never looked so good. Whether you’re admiring the azure seas from a sun-drenched piazza or catching some rays down by the ocean, Campania’s coastline is surely one of the best in the world.

Province of Naples

Known for its gritty urban areas and archaeological treasures, Naples is a destination on the rise. If you’re pursuit of authenticity, you’ll find it in abundance here. Thanks to its enviable coastal location and centuries of gastronomic excellence, Italy’s third-largest city is home to the country’s most delicious pizza, coffee and seafood dishes.

Amalfi Coast

The pastel-hued buildings of the Amalfi Coast reign supreme on Pinterest boards across the world. Yes, it’s undoubtedly one of the world’s prettiest corners. The coastline’s series of soaring cliffs, olive groves, lemon terraces and tumbling villages all boast views of shimmering azure sea. And then there’s the fresh ravioli…

Province of Salerno

Salerno is a city of contrasts. Medieval churches sit alongside tattoo parlours, trendy bars are set in post-war buildings. Here, the history is rich and reinvention is rampant. Take the new ferry terminal, for example, designed by renowned British architect Zaha Hadid. Or the coastline, adorned with tempting restaurants and trattorias.

Province of Caserta

Sprawling green hills and incredible art are the order of the day in Caserta. Once admired by the Romans for the awe-inspiring amount of natural beauty, a drive around the region is one green-pine forest or orchard after the other. But it’s not just a pretty face. The local area is home to folkloric traditions and multiple Medieval villages.

Capri - Beautiful house few minutes from PIazzetta
Peaceful and relaxing for Christmas week

The accommodations were very satisfactory despite the first day we arrived as we had to walk uphill for approximately 45 minutes before we reached the apartment. When we made the reservation, we should have been informed that there were porters available.... this would have eliminated stress - lugging suitcases is not a good way to start a vacation and we had several meltdowns. Beware! Having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms was great! The bedrooms faced the terrace which had a lovely view of the water and hillside. Another convenience was the close proximity to the market. The kitchen reminded us of “Grandma’s house”, but it was adequate and served our needs. Did not hang out there as it was dark and gloomy. The most important and outstanding feature of this house was the town Square and the lovely Catholic Church - in addition to the walking trails for scenic views / vistas of Capri. No living room and TV in one of bedrooms. The living area had old couch and dining room table and poor lighting so we never used. Casa La Bifora
Perfectly located, Close to the beach.

Ideally located, roomy house. Well equipped. Right next to Duomo so the bells could be annoying if you had all the windows open. Antoinetta was an angel and helped us immensely with transport from/to Naples airport. A perfect stay only spoiled by the uncomfortable beds. We had a wonderful Xmas/New year there & the locals made us feel so welcome. Not a great deal to do at that time of year if you don't have a car, but the bonus is it's sunny but not too hot & has less tourists!see more

Great quiet location

Great apartment just off the centre of Sorrento. So quiet it was hard to believe you were only 10 mins walk from Corso Italia.Apartment has everything we needed. Lovely pool. The 2 patios were great and free music from the Sorrento Hilton every evening … see more
Villa degli Aranci
Lovely little place to stay

It goes without saying that 2020 has been an unusual year, but I am so pleased that we were able to go ahead with our holiday here which was booked before we went into lockdown. In the event, this was the perfect accommodation for a holiday in the Covid era. A beautiful spacious garden all to yourself with sun loungers gave us a lovely place to relax without having to worry about social distancing on lazy days. The house is really well equipped, and even though I didn’t do any cooking there were plenty of utensils and pots and pans. It’s in a convenient position for Sorrento, around about a twenty minute walk, and also for the station. There’s plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and bars within easy walking distance if you don’t want to go into Sorrento and you’re no more than a few minutes walk away from a take away pizza if you just fancy a night in without cooking! Angela is a lovely host who kept us supplied with fresh fruit and tomatoes from her own garden. I really do recommend this as a good place to stay.see more
Old stone farmhouse in Castellabate, Cilento, SA, South Italy
A great Stay

The house is located at the side of the hill above Agropoli towards the little but very nice village of Torchiara. The location is absolutely beautiful with a great view on the valley especially at the sunset. The owners Saverio and Loredana are very friendly and available to any requests. They will give you the best advise how to organize your holidays as, of course they know the area very well. The house is big and with a very comfortable space outside for your nice eatings. We used the big and well equipped kitchen quite often during our 2 weeks. The house has been sanitized with a proof certification that, especially during the Covid period, is very reassuring. The air conditioning in the sleeping rooms is very helpful and we found all the rooms very clean. The best nearest beach of Trentova is about 10min by car. From Agropoli you can visit both the southern part of the Cilento, which is really worth for its seaside bays and villlages like Acciaroli and Marina di Camerota coast, and the north side towards Naples, Ercolano and Pompei. From Agropoli you can take advantage of the daily boat departures to Positano/Amalfi and to Capri. It was a great stay!see more
Villa Adriana Sorrento's center
Fantastic

What a wonderful fortnight we have just had after the strangest 2020 ever with COVID-19! The villa is only a 5 min walk from the centre of Sorrento so location is perfect. Carmine the host is a charming fixer of everything. He cooked us a a wonderful local meal at the villa which was superb A real highlight. The private boat trip to Capri was another wonderful highlight. A great stay and wonderful host. We will return. Greg Jude Grace Ollie Emma Jess Brad Teddy Molly and Maddiesee more
