“Just in the heart of Rome” Near Città del Vaticano, just in the center of Rome, near metro and bus service. It's a little clean apartment available at a cheap rent. Owners are very kind.

“Perfect old world charm!” Nestled away on a quiet side street that's close walking distance to major attractions, Casa Gigli is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Rome. From the massive entry doors to the building, to the marble-floored foyer and charming gated elevator, this place has style! The apartment itself is very clean and well-appointed with small but functional kitchenette, a bright and spacious bathroom with shower and bidet, and a beautiful bedroom suite. A better o line guest registration system that includes a secure payment system for the deposit would be welcome, but otherwise this was a great place to stay in every way.

“Great location and hosts” Great location. It's just a 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants in the happening Trastevere area of Rome but far enough to avoid the sound of partying as you sleep. The flat itself is set within a traditional complex of residential villas/apartments so it's nice and quiet plus you get to feel like a local during your stay. The apartment was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I and was very clean. There's air conditioning which would be a godsend in the hot summer months but we didn't need it in October. It was nice to have use of a safe although we didn't really feel we needed it. The kitchen seems well equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a meal but we only had breakfast in the apartment. Andrea was an excellent host. Communication was easy and prompt. He even managed to organise tickets for the Vatican museum (which is within walking distance). He's a star!

“Delightful, large, old fashioned apartment in quiet, yet central area” We ( three women in our 50's) really enjoyed our four night stay in Rome , staying in Maria Luisa's apartment in the Prati district. Maria Luisa was a very good and efficient communicator. It was easy to book this very reasonably priced apartment, and Maria also booked us a fixed priced taxi from the airport, 35 euros and again to Termini train station for our train trip to Firenze 25 euros. We walked into and around central Rome from here and to the Vatican. There is a great restaurant on the opposite corner with lovely, authentic Italian food and host, with shops and supermarkets within close walking. The apartment is old fashioned, with older furniture and coverings, probably not all that different from when Maria's grandparents lived there in the 60's. Thank - you for your hospitality Maria

“A Tremendous Value!” My wife and I stayed a the Holiday in Rome apartment for four nights in May/June, 2017. The apartment is conveniently located in a residential neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from the Vatican museum. Local restaurants, grocery stores and wonderful wine shops/delis are within steps of the apartment. The metro is a 3 minute walk away, and there is also a taxi stand 2 minutes beyond that. The apartment is wonderful--two bedrooms; nice living and dining rooms; 1.5 baths; and a well equipped kitchen, The owners have also thoughtfully provided a washing machine, along with a drying rack, for the convenience of guests. Importantly, the accommodation is meticulously maintained--and spotless! And now the clincher: Giulia, the property contact, is a pleasure to work with--she answers inquiries quickly; is available for support should guests require help; and provides a wealth of information regarding any questions one may have about Roma (thanks for the taxi arrangements and the water color vendor suggestions, Giulia!). All in all, this property represents a tremendous value and provides a nice alternation to more expensive--and much smaller--hotel accommodations in Rome. Well done--we'll be back!
