“A good base for travelling round Tuscany” The owners are very welcoming, providing pick up from the airport and return which was very much appreciated also the trips to the supermarket to stock up on supplies. A welcome pack which was again appreciated. It is a good base for travelling around Tuscany either by train, bus or car, plenty of information provided on the area with bus and train timetables. The accommodation is well presented and the owners have worked hard to revive the villa bringing it back to life from its unloved state. Lovely gardens in which to sit and relax, eat a meal, read a book or play table tennis. Reasonably priced self catering accommodation making it affordable to various groups of people. Initially on arrival one may think you are a bit off the beaten track but you will be suprised and find the train and bus services are frequent and reasonably priced making it a good base for getting to quite a few places in a short space of time. I would thoroughly recommend this villa for the reasons set out above and already have to a number of friends and aquaintances.

“A little touch of heaven” Our stay at the Villa di Lupo was wonderful. Donatella and Antonio are magnificent hosts. Their love of the historic value of the villa is evident every time they speak of the villa. The restoration of the villa is very impressive. We plan to make this our home base for our upcoming visits to Italy. I would love to bring the villa and it's proprietors to the US.

“A beautiful place to stay - totally different” The attention to detail that Antonio and Donatella have given to the appartment was excellent. We both enjoyed admiring the frescos on the wall whilst having breakfast. The stone wall structure of the building ensured that it was always cool within the appartment which was great when trying to sleep. We had a bike ride around the local area, which we both enjoyed. Trains into Pisa depart every 50-80 minutes, into the main train station, then its a very pleasent stroll through the old streets of Pisa to the main sights.
