“Perfect little cosy retreat” My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in the beginning of March. Initially I picked it as it was close to Frome and I thought we could visit the town for a couple of days and eat out. We only actually popped in to get some supplies as we found the cottage so nice we didn't want to leave! It was very well presented, the bed was really comfortable and the log burner was a joy! We had such a relaxing time. The 2 pubs were very decent with nice food. We went on a couple of walks around the area which were great. I would definitely return to Well cottage but perhaps for a longer stay next time! Also the owners were incredibly helpful and any queries were answered quickly, thank you Caroline and Pat!

“Fantastic holiday let” The stables is spotlessly clean & very nicely decorated. My young children loved the go-karts on the tennis court, the animals , hot tub & swimming pool. There is so much to do in th area. We can't wait to come back again.

“Perfect hen house” Newbridge House was perfect for my hen weekend, the number of single beds and bathrooms made it work for a large group of women all getting ready. The house is beautifully furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed. One of our group is already planning to book the house for next year for a family birthday and there are plans to hold a reunion to explore Bath in more depth. Quick communication from the owner made this a great weekend. Thank you so much.

“A wonderful break” Few days stay at Kate's property, which was perfectly situated, near the beach and a 20 min walk into town. The house was lovely, very well equipped with everything you could want. Very comfortable property and comfortable beds. Kate is an excellent host who responded to queries very quickly. Would certainly stay here again if visiting the area.

“Perfect house for families to share” Where to start reviewing our stay at Midsomer House, we were a group of three families; 6 adults and 7 children from 0-7. When looking for somewhere to stay with our Spanish friends I wanted something close to lots of things, spacious enough to not get on each other nerves, and that could be a refuge should we get normal British summer weather (aka rain). I can safely say that this house is this and so much more. Firstly the bedrooms, we used 5 out of the 6 rooms and had space for more. There are 3 showers upstairs, 2 toilets and comfortable warm beds. If that wasn't enough every room has a clock radio that some of the children enjoyed dancing to. Downstairs the 2 living rooms gave us adults our own space while the children could play with the plentiful toys and games provided in the other living room, or watch one of the many DVDs, or a movie on the Sky TV (in every room). The kitchen was where we spent most of our time and all of us fitted around the giant table, and a high chair was kindly provided. The range cooker was amazing, there was a downstairs cloakroom and the dishwasher and washing machine were a godsend (and tablets were provided). It was a really nice surprise when we arrived that the fridge was stocked with milk, bread and butter. The games room wasn't really needed during our stay thanks to the weather but we did fit in one game of pool on our last night. As a geek I am amazing by the technology in the house. Hive heating, touch screen weather info in the kitchen, WiFi throughout the house and SKY TV in every room. This is my dream home. However it didn't stop there, outside was amazing. The enclosed garden was much loved by the children, so much in fact that getting them to go out was difficult. They loved playing on the trampoline, the climbing frame and in the playhouse. For adults the hot tub was amazing and so needed after getting the children to bed. To top all this off the BBQ lodge was so easy to use and we had a lovely BBQ birthday party for my 1 year old daughter. Nearby there is so much to do, we did a day out to Wooky Hole (using clubcard points), a day in Bath, a trip to Peppa Pig World (1hr 30 mins), a day in the house, and on the last day an amazing morning at Farringtons play barn (5 mins away). Brett (the owner) was responsive to all queries before the stay and after we arrived I emailed him to ask about some bedsheets and he phoned me 5 minutes later from Spain. All in all amazing, I am sure my Spanish friends will review this too. I would recommend this to everyone and I would love to stay here again in the future.

“A Absolute Gem” On arriving at our destination we were greeted by the owners of Highcroft Cottage Andrew and his wife a lovely couple and after a bit of a chat together we made our way to our place of stay Highcroft cottage and the minute we stepped in we were not disappointed. Highcroft has everything you could wish for, wonderful views, very comfy bed and pillows I may add and so light, airy and so clean. Andrew and his wife had thought of everything right down to a lovely welcoming pack for us and one including dog bowls and treats for Rhia and Butch our two dogs. We had the wonderful views of the Gorge from every window and a veranda where you could sit and sip a glass of wine to put it simply home from home. Cheddar is just a minutes stroll where you have lots of shops, restaurants, plenty of tea and coffee shops I thoroughly recommend eating out in The Bath Arms which is in cheddar five to seven minute walk the food is scrumptious and very reasonable. Further afield you have Burnham-on -Sea which is a stones throw and twenty minutes further on is Weston-Super-Mare and a visit to Wells is a must with the Bishops Palace and the Cathedral. The gorge itself is breathtaking so worth a view. I would highly recommend the beautiful cottage and Chedder.

“Idyllic place to stay on a visit to Bath” This is a beautiful converted coach-house in a gorgeous quiet corner on the outskirts of Bath. Lambridge Place itself is an exquisite row of Georgian Houses; there are useful food shops, cafes and restaurants very close by. We hired bikes and cycled into town along the picturesque tow path and explored other off-road routes into the countryside. The furnishings and facilities in the accommodation were excellent and provided everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We arrived to find a thoughtful hamper of food and drink, and the place was very clean. Vito was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
