“Welcoming family friendly accommodation” Very friendly reception by Ann. Very clean and functional house very close to the farm. The location even if close to an airport is very peaceful. The kids were very touched by all the ships and very young lambs that surround the farm. The watergate bay not far away is worth seeing. WE enjoyed the short stay. Thank you Ann

Holiday home in Fowey

Fowey house

3 bedrooms • 2 bathrooms • sleeps 6

“Best view of Fowey River” My family loved this town house, notwithstanding the fact it is over five half floors. Good size rooms with large kitchen and lounge. Great views of River Fowey from all levels and in particular from the lounge on top floor. All rooms were well appointed. A bit tight for a large car, but is space for two vehicles. Plenty of good bars/pubs/eating places in Fowey also an excellent butcher/deli and bread shop.

“cockleshell heaven” When we first saw the cottage it had a wow factor straight away, stunning views, magnificent property, lovely decor, what more could one want? oh and i forgot to include the lovely meal that was waiting for us along with a bottle of wine. Our best break ever,by far.Every little detail had been thought of. It was a joy to meet the owner Sue who went out of her way to make you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble . We hope to return very soon. Left feeling very refreshed in fact we didn't really want to go . But work beckoned.. Chris & Heather

Hayle apartment

“Fantastic Apartment in a Great Location” We stayed in an upper floor apartment with views across Hayle beach towards St Ives in March 2011. The lounge and bedroom had lovely views. The apartment was very clean, well presented and nicely furnished. Information about things to do in the area was available in the apartment and we were greeted with biscuits, tea and milk in the fridge! A dedicated parking space meant we always had somewhere free to park. There were some DVDs provided and free wi-fi. The apartment is well located to explore West and South Cornwall, perfect for going into St Ives. We also went to Land's End which was not too far.

“Fabulous accommodation!” Just wow, the views from this accommodation is just truly stunning. We all had such a lovely stay. The smoke alarm ran out of battery and was bleeping one morning, we advised Rod and he was round to sort it within 10 minutes, amazing service. Walk to the town was via the roads due to having a pushchair but it only took around 10 minutes. The walk up is a killer but worth it for the amazing views! We will definitely be back. Thank you Rod & Beata.

Holiday home in Padstow

Padstow house

“wonderful cottage in fabulous location - we wanted for nothing” Situated right in the heart of Padstow with fabulous harbour views and a minute from the sea this a great place to stay if you are walking, on an epicurean holiday or just enjoying the seaside. It is literally no more than 5 minutes walk to four Stein establishments and Rojanos and No 6 plus a lovely drive to Watergate Bay for Jaimie Olivers 15. If you just want to chill with all facilities within a stride and no need to drive its perfect. We have used it for all of these The cottage itself is freshly refurbished, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, has a wood burner for cosy evenings in and a better stocked kitchen than mine at home! it is quite contemporary so don't expect dark beams and low ceilings but it is light and airy and very comfortable. Have been several times now with different groups and always had a super time and found the accommodation consistent and good . Recommend: walking along the beach in the morning and back along the headland, breakfast on Rock at the Blue Tomato cafe, supper in with food from Steins deli, a glass of wine early evening at the charming wine shop literally downstairs from this great cottage, dinner at St Pedrocs Bistro - 2 minutes walk (do book). Enjoy it all - we have!!

Holiday cottage in Blisland

Blisland cottage

3 bedrooms • 2 bathrooms • sleeps 6

“A 'Blisful' holiday, particularly if you're dog lovers” We, along with our dogs, have been going to Lease Cottage for many years; a lovely peaceful setting in Blisland, which has easy access to a good village shop with internet facility, CAMRA pub and church. Secluded gardens with a great 'run' at the back of the house for dogs. Easy access to beaches and walks on both the north and south coasts. Continuous improvements by initially Jenny and now Ben, keep it on top form. Not too good for the elderly or infirm, particularly the steps at the back of the house can be a bit tricky especially in wet weather.

Mevagissey house

“Ocean View, Mevagissey” Had a fantastic holiday hear with friends and family. The house is fantastic, with parking for three cars outfront. Nice sized bedrooms and two front rooms, great kitchen, with disheasher. Utility room with good quality washing machine and dryer. Mevagissey is a lovely little town, some nice pubs and places to get a bite to eat. Kids enjoyed crabbing off the harbour wall, and looking round the shops. Driving through Mevagissey can be a bite hectic, but other routes are available. Throughly recommend for family holidays plenty off things to do near by, fantastic views and great beaches at Goran Haven and Portmellon.

“Fabulous place to stay with lots of space” Loved our stay here at the end of August. 6 of us but the house accommodates 8. Fab spot just a few minutes from town and beach (downhill but then everything is hilly in St Ives). Room for two carefully parked cars. Be prepared to lose time in the morning as you sit taking in the wonderful views from the breakfast bar. Our stay came to an end far too quickly.

“Beauty and peace to restore the spirits” Stoneleigh Knowle is set in stunningly peaceful grounds - no sounds apart from wildlife and no light apart from what you generate at the cottage. It provides its own lovely walks that give a feel of adventure through long grass and woodlands. Near by are all the attractions of Cornish cliffs and beaches; Cornish pasties and ice cream for a treat after long treks up and down the cliff top paths. Perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of life in the hectic South East.

Holiday villa in Looe

Looe villa

2 bedrooms • 1 bathroom • sleeps 4

“Sea Wood sanctuary” Just returned from an amazing short holiday in Cornwall at Sea Wood, Millendreath / Black Rock beach resort. It was our first domestic holiday with the little one in tow... The villa was immaculately clean and kitted out with modern furniture to a high standard. It had everything we could possibly need, washing machine, fridge, freezer, massive TV with sky and BT sport perfect to watch the Europa cup final. Louise, the owner of the villa was extremely helpful and always available for any enquiries. Yes there are steps to get to the villa but it is well worth it! The views from the huge terrace are amazing. One direction is the beautiful Millendreath beach and to the other is the seemingly endless woodland. Millendreath / Black Rock resort itself is a beautiful secluded beach, it has a modern shop, cafe / restaurant and bar. Water sports are available from the beach. Low tide reveals the true beauty of the beach with rock pools galore and sea a walk to Looe. Looe is lovely harbour town with a great mix of local independent charm and familiar high street establishments. For the picture perfect Cornish village we would definitely recommend a visit to Polperro just ten minutes down the road. The Three Pilchards beer garden is worth the trip up the steep steps! We were very lucky with the weather in may, but we had such a great time in Cornwall we have already decided on a return visit. Whilst we were there we saw so many things we would like to do that it might be a return visit every year!!... but one thing is for sure the perfect base for our return trips will be Sea Wood villa!

Cornwall holidays

With its sweeping sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages, sensational seafood and a fascinating Celtic history, it’s no wonder that Cornwall has eternal appeal. Its mild climate and huge range of attractions, from the Eden Project to Tintagel Castle, will keep you coming back year after year.

Food & Drink

You’re in for a treat when it comes to Cornish cuisine! The noble Cornish pasty, packed with steaming hot beef and veg, is just what you need after a day spent surfing or walking. Seafood is excellent too, from cockles on the beach to fine dining at Rick Stein’s restaurant in Padstow. And no trip to Cornwall is complete without the classic Cornish cream tea.

A Family Favourite

Keeping the kids entertained in Cornwall is a breeze. Highlights include discovering the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel castle, seeing a show at the Minack Theatre, with its beautiful views of Porthcurno Bay, and exploring the The Lost Gardens of Heligan in St Austell. And with so many cottages and self-catering accommodation in Cornwall to choose from, picking a place to stay will be a pleasure.

Beaches In Cornwall

If it’s a beach holiday in Britain you’re looking for, Cornwall ticks all the boxes. The subtropical climate and array of Blue Flag beaches will appeal to couples, families and watersports enthusiasts alike. Surf at Fistral Beach, swim at Porthcurno, go rockpooling at Treyarnon Bay and much, much more beyond.

Pencrebar Farm
Peace and quiet

From initial booking to arriving at the farm things couldn't have been any easier John was in touch with us a few days before arrival date. John showed us round the caravan and was very knowledgeable about the local area having been born on the farm. The caravan is in it's own field with a barbecue and a picnic table so quite, you occasionally have a couple of nosy noisy neighbours who come round just to have a look at you (guinea fowl). Rachel usually deals with the caravan but she has been ill so it was down to John Rachel did call round on our first day to check everything was OK with the caravan we were very happy with it, the caravan is well equipped with everything you needed. The view from the caravan is to die for and is ideally situated. We went out every day to places like Bude and Looe all within a 30 minute drive the donkey sanctuary is very close by as well. Thanks for the lovely view and the peace and tranquility. We will recommend this place to friends and family.see more

Bucket & Spade

My husband and I stayed at The Bucket & Spade for 1 week from June 5th. The Family room is immaculately kept by the very friendly Mo. What a lovely lady, on hand at all times. The accommodation is a stones throw from the beach so no additional car parking fee to pay so more money for ice cream. We visited the wonderful Godrevy Beach which is run ny the National Trust and well worth a visit. Also went to an old favourite Cramtock Beach. If you are brave enough please join the very friendly "Blue Tits" a local chill swim group. I joined them 3 times for an early morning swim, absolutely amazing! All in all a wonderful time in Perranporth!see more

Bramble Cottage, Gwithian
Lovely cottage to hideaway

Jill's communication prior to arrival was excellent. The directions were good and got us there easily. The cottage is close to the nature reserve, beautiful surroundings. You can't hear the road from it, very peaceful in the garden. The cottage itself was fairly clean. The space was perfect for what we needed. It was a good base to be close to the beach and you can walk there, but also close enough to our family to see them. We would definitely stay again.see more
