“Perfect, a salubrious Jewel in the Looe Crown” What a great place, easy to get to centrally located for all the best parts of Looe including the beach, shops and restaurants but just far enough away to feel secluded. The view was phenomenonal and the room design, Windows and all around ambiance was designed to make this an idyllic. Sanctuary
“Fantastic Cottage” Pendruffle is a lovely cottage decorated and maintained to a very high standard. We stayed for 4 nights in mid May and had a fantastic break. Looe is within easy walking distance, although if you don't like hills this is probably not the right place for you as it is fairly high up, although that means that you get the benefit of fabulous views from the terrace. We walked into the town each evening and had some great food although we could easily have cooked in the cottage as all the necessary tools were provided. The only problem we had was in finding the cottage as road works meant the road to it was shut but Caroline, who looks after it for the owner guided us to the local Spar and met us there so we could follow her the rest of the way. So we have nothing but praise for the fabulous service we received, thank you Caroline and Rob too who gave us his contact details in case of problems and also phoned us when we were leaving to check that everything was Ok. We can't recommend this self catering cottage highly enough and would definitely stay there again.
“Fabulous location in beautiful looe :-)” This apartment is ideal for exploring looe and surrounding areas. It was wonderful to have restaurants and pubs within walking distance all the time, as well as having all the beauty of the seaside and harbour a stones throw away. We went during bank holiday and even with the busyness that brings, inside the apartment was quiet for a long lie in! Very cool in the heat too. The apartment has everything a couple could want and we most certainly would go back, and we would recommend to friends.
“Relaxing holiday, excellant accomodation” We stayed at this accommodation at the beginning of the summer holidays and had a fabulous week. We arrived at our accommodation to find that we had everything we could need for our holiday. The chalet was beautifully decorated and was very clean and tidy. The bedding and towel were a real bonus as it saved us from taking so much in the car and having to spend time making the beds. A cream tea, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice were left for us, which we enjoyed and found a thoughtful touch. The owner Julie, even kindly text to make sure we had arrived and that everything was ok. Our son is 10yrs and he immediately made friends with other children staying there, which made life easy for us. We spent the majority of our holiday on the beach and our son enjoyed body boarding with the other children. The beach is lovely and not as crowded as Looe. Wonderful holiday, we will be returning next year!
“what a view” having been married 54 years and spent most of our holidays in cornwall with our daughters grandchildren and g.grandchildren we just wanted to chill on our own,we did just that in rockpools,a lovely holiday home clean well equipped and decorated and comfy,we would love to come again if we can manage the steps.
“We felt like invited guests.” The cottage was comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. In fact we couldn't think of anything it didn't have. The Welcome Pack was, well, very welcome - very thoughtful and generous. The cottage is well located to explore Cornwall, and we appreciated the advice from Chris and Jags of places to see. We enjoyed meeting both of them, and they made us feel more like guests than customers. We'd definitely like to return to Cornwall.
“Beautiful” What a lovely place to stay. Well equipped and beautifully presented. Wish I could have stayed there for a lot longer. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need, I cooked a full English and a casserole without a problem. Having the sky tv was good as the first night we got there it was very stormy out so we couldn't really get out and about. Would definitely visit and stay again. Thank you very much.
“Quiet, comfortable, well equipped.” We are not new to Moles Chamber, but the new kitchen and redecoration have made it even better. Lots of thoughtful touches like a Blu-ray player and loads of USB sockets for charging.
The location has endless walking opportunities and the climate in this part of South East Cornwall nearly always provides fine weather early and late in the year.
“Mrd” The apartment was beautiful but the view was breathtaking!! Loved it !! The only downside was the walk down from the apartment!! It was was fine until my daughter came with my grandson then it was a bit tricky with a buggy !! But we coped !! Loved Cornwall !!
“Beautiful Barn” Ian and Brenda were extremely welcoming and very accommodating with a last minute booking for the Bank Holiday weekend.
The barn is a lot bigger than I thought when booking and we were both stunned at how beautiful it was inside and out on arrival.
A welcome basket with freshly baked goodies from the farm was a lovely touch and I would definitely recommend this barn to couples and those looking for a romantic weekend away.
Thanks again Ian and Brenda
“The Old Vicarage” What a lovely old building with lots of character and bits to bump your head on! Immaculate and tastefully furnished. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We will be booking again.
“a beautifully kitted out flat with a superb harbour view, conveniently situated” Most pleasant neighbourhood with a lovely old church, a local pub, The Jolly Sailor, with Cornish singing evenings, a delicatessen and a mini market. Almos at the starting point of a
glorious weaterly promenade and further along a beautiful coastal path to Polperro.
