“Wonderful Apartment” This is a very clean modern apartment situated a few minutes walk from St Ives town centre. The nearest beach which is lovely is again just a few minutes walk away.
Having stayed in St Ives previously, I cannot emphasise enough what a good location this place is (and includes off road parking right outside which, in St Ives is a must).
I highly recommend this apartment - whatever the weather (nearest pub/takeaways I timed at my walking pace 3 mins) and would stay again without hesitation.
“Great stay, fantastic house with plenty if interesting features. Felt like home, didn't want to leave.” Wow, fantastic views from the top floor. It is really close to town, just down a few steps. Great beach (Porthminster) nearby for walking the dog off-lead out of season. The house was very clean and comfortable. Christmas tree and decorations made it really special for us and a lovely basket of goodies including Prosseco was waiting for us in the dining room. Log burner made the evenings cosy and the kitchen was well equipped with more than everything we needed for some great meals. The en-suite bathroom was quirky, beds were really comfortable and TVs in all rooms with smart TV in the lounge. Pity the grandchildren didn't come with us as they would have loved the loft room with the narrow stairs and sloping roof - also was a great place to sit and have coffee while looking out at the harbour (binoculars were provided to see way out across to Hayle or see the people eating in the restaurants along the front in the evening). Owner was very accommodating and easy to contact. Would love to stay here again.
“The most perfect St Ives holiday location !” Gwithian's Reach is ideally located for a holiday in St Ives. Beaches, cliff walks, pubs, restaurants are all easily within walking distance - in fact we never used the car once all week and the off-street parking was a true bonus! Having renovated numerous properties ourselves, we really appreciated the attention to detail that has been applied here. Just perfect for either a summer or winter break!
“Such a lovely lovely apartment” We had the pleasure of staying here over the new year week and I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful apartment. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home with all of the lovely little touches ie the welcome basket, robe and slippers. The quality of the place is outstanding. We found the location perfect for the beach, train station, restaurants and the coastal path that leads you to the very beautiful St Ives.
It is somewhere I will defiantly recommend to family and friends and we would love to return.
“Primrose Cottage St Ives” Very homely. Everything you would need as if at home. Milk, tea, coffe & Cream tea on arrival- very nice!! Parking an absolute bonus in StIves as very rare! Stunning views. 5-10 minute walk to anywhere- beach, shops. Road could be a little noisy in the mornings.
Porthmeor beach bar right in the sea front - great cream teas, delicious tapas & elderflower prosecco. Try The Loft for an evening meal- amazing food . Balcony bar by the harbour was nice food if you're after reasonable chips/ burger/ fish. Lovely views there.
“Lovely apartment!” A lovely apartment. Very high standard of cleanliness. Denise had covered every question in the information pack and the house had everything you needed for a relaxing week away. Excellent service provided by Denise.
A bit of a walk back up from St Ives - but good for walking off the food!

About St. Ives
St Ives, Cornwall is a seaside town in the far west of the county, north of Penzance and west of Camborne on the coast of the Celtic Sea. Originally a fishing village, today the main draws are the four golden-sand beaches that are located throughout the area. Perfect for surfing, windsurfing, and waterskiing the sheltered coves and pleasant waters are teeming with tourists during the hot summers. The town itself is a collection of gift shops, cafes, and picturesque holiday cottages -- all surrounding the harbour. A maze of narrow streets and alleyways are located around the harbour, and the crescent shaped beaches. During the spring and summer months the streets of St Ives are decorated with brightly coloured flower displays. Complete with stunning vistas at every turn, artists flock to St. Ives to capture its beauty in painting, poetry, and song.
Things to do in St. Ives
The beaches are the main attraction of St. Ives - Portmeor, Porthgwidden, Porthminster, and Harbour Beaches all have distinct characteristics that make them unique, as well as make them each some of the most popular in the Cornwall region. Porthmeor Beach is the main beach in St Ives. It is a level sandy beach that is ideal for families and a favourite of surfers. Porthgwidden is a small but popular beach, with a very good cafe.
Off the beach, explore the Chapel of St. Nicholas, a small structure used for worship for hundreds of years - and a great place for bird watching. Stroll through the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden for a gorgeous display of local flora. Explore ‘downlong' aka Old St. Ives and uncover the wonders of the area throughout the maze of cobblestone streets.
Embrace the artistic history of the town and take an art class or visit one of the dozens of galleries open for business - the Tate Gallery being one of the most popular. Take a ride on the scenic railway to see gorgeous views of St. Ives.

Coastguard View - Two Bedroom Apartment in St Ives with parking - Sleeps 4
Lovely short break
Stayed here for three nights tuesday-friday with my Mum. Very easy to get to in the car with the garage entrance just as you arrive in St Ives itself. We had no problem reversing our Renault Megane Tourer estate car into the provided, lockable garage. And free parking in St Ives is an asset in itself. The apartment is accessible from a courtyard up a short flight of stairs from the garage area (which is fully lit during dark hours) It is just far enough away to be lovely and quiet but literally 5 minutes walk from the town. It is a relatively steep walk but myself and my Mum who has arthritis in her knee had no problem. The topography of the area means that you are invariably in for some uphill walking and I think anyone who frequents St Ives is prepared for this.
Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on the balcony in the morning with the harbour visible through the trees. Lovely, comfortable stay. You could easily stay here for a couple of weeks, we would definately return. …
Renovated in 2018 with luxury amenities, new kitchen & baths. Stunning views!
Comfortable and spacious house with stunning sea views
We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely spacious and comfortable house. The views of the sea and local beaches were stunning, it was a pleasure just to sit and take in the view. The local amenities were close by but if you have walking difficulties you would need transport. The one disappointment was that we couldn't get to the local pub, The Cornish Arms, because there was no car park. However, The Badger Inn is just a short drive away and we would highly recommend it. The local train service into St Ives was very useful, regular and cheap. Having said that if you are reasonably fit you could walk to the local beach and pub. We would definitely stay again. …
Reflections - Views across St Ives Bay - Sleeps 6 - Private Parking
Wonderful House and views. Sea views from both the front and back of the house. Home from Home. Everything we could possibly need was provided. Simply add food!! Great location to visit other attractions like St. Michael’s Mount, Flambards and more. Eden project and Tintagel Castle about 90 minutes away.
Steep walk to the beach and shops, which may be a problem for less able persons. The house is situated down a very narrow Lane, so parking may be difficult in a large car using the provided car space. (Public car park is situated in the next street at £8 her 24 hours). We enjoyed ourselves so much, we will be back next year …

A fabulous apartment and a great base. The only thing I would change is to have some curtains in the bedroom as the outdoor light stays on until gone midnight. …

Well appointed, handy location with parking in St Ives
Beautiful St Ives, even nicer than I remember. Lot's of good places to eat (The Firehouse - great burger!) and drink (The Sloop - ended up there most nights). We were very lucky with the weather, a week of blue skies and sunshine.
The apartment is very clean and modern, well equipped with everything you need, small but OK for two.
Just to be aware both approaches from the town, harbour and beaches involve steep hills. There is a parking spot with the apartment which was very important for us, luckily we have a small car (Ford Fiesta), the space might quite tight for a larger vehicle and will test your parallel parking skills. …
