“Fabulous View of London” Really nice welcome pack as we were starving. Everything spotlessly clean and funky modern design. The view of London from the 13th floor is amazing. Convenient for local transport - both buses and Tube. Comfortable beds. Wi fi and plenty of TV channels.
“Location, Location, Location” This light-filled apartment is in a great location, just a short walk to two different tube stops. The building is secure, has an elevator, and noise was never a problem. The apartment had all we needed for a 2-week stay. Why not a perfect rating? The furniture is just on the edge of being comfortable. The dining room chairs definitely need to be replaced as the collapsing pads force you to sit on the chair rims. The apartment was generally clean, but attention needed for a deeper cleaning before we arrived. Towels were well-used and no more than a minimum number given. Overall, I would stay there again, especially if the dining room chairs were new and the owners gave it more TLC regarding the clean up.
“Double Booked But Compensated For It” My husband and I booked this property months in advance. After a nine hour flight and an hour long subway ride, we were ready to shower and enjoy the flat. But when we showed up at the property and unlocked the key box, it was empty. When we called Janet to let her know that we could not get into the apartment, she was equally confused as to why the key was not there. She eventually sent her housekeeper, Leann, to let us into the flat with a spare. Once Leann arrived and opened the door, we were all shocked to see someone else's luggage in the living room. Turns out Janet had double booked the flat for the entire duration of our stay.
Tired and annoyed, we started looking for alternative accommodations. Unfortunately, every hotel, Airbnb, and VRBO property was booked (most likely due to the upcoming Fashion Week). Leann was so nice that she spent two hours looking online and calling hotels with us. She eventually found a local lodge for us to stay that was in a great neighborhood. Not only did she call the property owner and settle all the details for us to rent a room, but she personally escorted us there with her baby goddaughter in tow. We ended up being able to stay at that lodge without any problems and enjoyed a comfortable vacation.
Even though it caused a pretty stressful start to our vacation, Janet was sincerely apologetic. She made sure to reimburse us the money we paid for her flat (with a little extra), wrote us a card, and promised a free stay the next time that we are in London. Although we were almost left with no place to stay due to Janet's oversight, it's hard to be mad when she and Leann went out of their way to make it up to us. Because of this, they get a 5-star rating for customer service.
“Perfect location and fab stay at this cool mews holiday home” Perfect London get away for the family - tucked away down a quiet Mews lane but with literally everything from shops and cafes to underground to the National History Museum around the corner and within easy strolling distance. Clean and beautifully decorated, the sofa bed is very comfortable as a sofa and as a large double bed (a pleasant change from the functional solid sofas usually found in holiday homes!) - the one downside was we couldn't take the cool artwork with us!!!!
“Excellent place to stay in London!” Highly recommended for a family of 5 to 6 people. The appartment is spacious, clean and very well located nearby Westminster bridge, just few minutes walking from the main attractions. The rooms are very confortable, there are two convenient bath rooms and the kitchen is very well equipped.
“Perfect” First visit to London and it won't be our last! Bankside Apartment is the perfect location for a stay in London. So conveniently located within minutes walk of everything that you could possibly need for a stay in London. Metro, buses, tourist attractions, centre of London, the best pubs, we cannot speak highly enough of the location. The apartment is very comfortable, wi fi made it possible for us to communicate with teenagers left at home, and for keeping in touch with Steve's work, fully equipped kitchen to cater for coffee whims or eating in. With the Borough market, pubs and an excellent Indian restaurant all just minutes from the apartment all of our needs were met! Comfy bed, great shower, warm and cozy - perfect. David and Ida made us feel so welcome and the personal touches (orientating us to the area, having our first pint with David, dropping us to the Eurostar) all made our trip memorable. Thanks David and Ida - we loved London and staying at your apartment. Will definitely be back!!! Cheers!
“Home away from Home” This is our third stay at Archer House and it is looking very smart with new carpets and blinds, such a comfortable place to be after the hustle and bustle of days out . We are now very switched on with the buses which we like to travel around on as you get a much better idea of where everything is and see so much more, lovely to be able to cook an easy meal after a long day out , the 170 will take you down to Clapham Junction where there is a very good Waitrose for all your shopping needs. Defiantly our Home away from Home.
According to Dr Samuel Johnson, “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”. 300 years later, and his words still ring true. A thriving historic and multicultural melting pot, England’s capital city lures you in with one world-famous attraction after another. And there are plenty of hidden gems to discover, too.
All The World In One Place
London truly is an international city, thrilling in its cultural diversity. Nowhere is that more evident than in the authentic cuisine available from every corner of the globe. From all-night nosh in Chinatown to top-notch street food in Camden and Borough Markets, it’s a round-the-world trip for your tastebuds.
Where to start on a sightseeing tour of London? Will it be the imposing Tower of London, the refined Covent Garden, or the vibrant Piccadilly Circus? Or maybe you’re dying to have a nose around Buckingham Palace... One thing’s for sure: from the depths of the London Dungeon to the dizzying heights of The Shard, there’s no shortage of places to add to your itinerary.
The Show Must Go On
London’s famous West End is home to many of the world’s most-loved musicals, including the long-running Les Miserables. The posters, adverts and beautiful theatres of Shaftesbury Avenue create a kaleidoscope that is not to be missed by any visitor to the capital. For more historical drama, see Shakespeare’s works performed at the replica Globe Theatre on the South Bank.

Holland Park House
Very comfortable, homey atmosphere in an excellent quiet neighborhood.
This rental is in fact a real home, with comfortable furniture and appointments one might expect in an upscale London residence. The courtyard just outside the TV room, and viewable from the kitchen, is a highlight, with a water feature, landscaping, ample room for guests, and unusual privacy. The fully equipped kitchen has up-to-date appliances and all the utensils, dishware, and cookware one could need. The location is convenient to tube and bus routes, as well as restaurants, patisseries, and small grocery stores. An electric clothes dryer would be a nice addition, but there are ample drying racks to complement the electric clothes washing machine. We would return. …
