“Beautifully peaceful cosy cottage” A nice period cottage with period furniture. It has an AGA and central heating which kept it really cosy. Friendly owners and family, who have a great Japanese style garden. Wonderful views down the Tyne Valley from the front door. Just what we needed for a wind down few days.

“Great value” This is a lovely home from home - there is everything you could need. The location makes visiting lots of places of interest very accessible. Lovely enclosed garden to enjoy especially if the weather is good and you can sit out and enjoy the bottle of fizz that Colin seems to leave for all his guests !

“Amazingly , it get's better....” I have just returned home from my latest visit to Sally's. I am 400 miles away but wish I was back there already. The cottage is just soooooo relaxing and Island life is well...laid back too. The cottage has undergone some subtle tweaks and changes which are nice but basically it is just always fab. Fresh flowers , bottle of wine and delicious scones on arrival ( not to mention the fudge!!). The hugely comfortable beds and everything spotless. On the Island itself the Castle has finished it's refurb and is well worth a visit and Pilgrims Coffee House is undergoing a huge facelift which will be brilliant for the "coffee lovers" who have'nt seen it yet. Basically Charlotte , picking Sally's Cottage as a first choice is a no brainer. Peter

“Excellent place to stay with all the home comforts!” Checked into this great cabin on Friday to find a cosy environment and a bottle of wine in arrival. The place was spotless and has all the home comforts. Set in a great location around 10-15 mins walk into the village and stubby scenary. Will definitely come back here again!

“Fab apartment with amazing views.” Had an amazing stay at this lovely apartment. Keith the owner picked me up from the station and there was a lovely welcome for me with fresh flowers and a freshly baked cake by Louise. The apartment was in an excellent location with only a 10 minute walk into the town walking over the old bridge which had scenic views over the river Tweed. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need for a really comfortable stay and the views from the arched windows were amazing. This is a perfect apartment for a couple, there was even a lift so would even be suitable for anyone who had difficulty with stairs. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Berwick and the surrounding area.

“Idyllic country retreat.” Stayed at the beginning of August. The cottage was beautiful. Excellent facilities and lovely enclosed garden. Booked for next year as soon as we came back. Surrounding area is wonderful for long country walks or cycling the old Tyndale railway between Haltwhistle and Alston. Best cottage we have stayed in and we've been doing it for 25 years.

“Best cottage ever!” Gull cottage has every amenity. It has off road parking outside and is situated perfectly for the castle, beach and travelling anywhhere else. It is immediately attractive on arrival and only gets better when you get inside. We have never had such a well equipped cottage and everything worked. Our dog loved the situation, backing onto the green and then the beach. His needs and ours were catered for beyond just necessary and we would love to go back.

“A great place to stay with a large group of friends” The accomodation at Lindores is surprisingly spacious, with large rooms set over 3 floors. There are a good number of bathrooms (a must with a large group) and a well-equipped kitchen, The living room is cosy and the log burner easy to light! The accomodation is clean, warm and comfortable throughout and there was no shortage of hot water. The location of the house is excellent, with the beach just around the corner, and a good number of pubs, a good Italian restaurant and a village shop. The surrounding area and coast line is stunning with loads to see and do.

“Fabulous change of scenery in 2020” Great caravan everything you would need. Fabulous quiet location overlooking fields. Balcony and seating area a benefit. Never used any of the facilities. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Gareth really quick to reply to issues that arose and all sorted. Limoncello restaurant lovely in Berwick near Quay side area and free parking. Would stay again. Thank you

“Lovely cosy cottage” We have just come back from this beautiful cottage which my son booked for me and my sister and father to spend some time together as my father is not in good health , and this was the perfect place , The cottage is immaculate and has everything you need , loved sitting in the garden in the evening the views are fantastic , and everyone we met had time to say a hello or stop for a little chat , very friendly , Hutton is a Beautiful place and I hope to return next year , oh and Thank you Louise and Harris for the Goodies you left us so thoughtful

“Perfect coastal retreat” This lovely cottage was of a high standard with corner bath, four poster bed and log burner. Ideally located for coastal walks and the welcome hamper was a nice touch. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
