Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Peaceful, relaxing location” A wonderful place to stay, so peaceful! The log cabins are well spaced to give privacy and are very cosy and comfortable with excellent view from windows. A welcome bottle of wine awaited us though some people might have preferred some coffee, tea, milk and sugar to start off with. Until you get used to it, it can be very easy to trip up in doorways but otherwise it is great. Books, games and a selection of dvds available but we took a decision not to watch television and no internet. Bliss!! Hardly any sounds to be heard but for the birds singing and it was wonderful to see pheasants and wood pigeons strolling by.
An ideal base if you want to "get away from it all" or to visit the surrounding area and the village is a short distance away if you prefer to dine out or need some supplies from the shop. A visit to Thrunton Woods is a must if you enjoy walking. Enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to return at a later day and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a bit of peace and quiet.
“fantastic warm welcome with cream tea” We arrived mid afternoon to a wonderful warm and cosy barn conversion with every detail catered for, including thick cream homemade scones which were perfect for sharing over a cup of tea as the family arrived. The owners came along to welcome us and we quickly settled in for a fantastic relaxing holiday.
“Fantastic holiday experience, everything was perfect.” Delightful hosts, cream scones, wine and flowers on arrival. Everything was perfect. Nothing was forgotten and high standard in everything in the cottage. A must for anyone. Will definitely recommend to all and visit again.
