“Spot on” Just wanted a quiet relaxing getaway close to Betws y coed for the two of us and our little cockapoo. We weren’t disappointed, 250 yards to betws y coed centre, bars, cafes and shops. Golf course within walking distance, train within walking distance. Cottage small and cosy ideal for what we wanted with everything on site (towels, crockery, bedding etc) clean, warm and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend.

“Wonderful Anniversary retreat” We stayed at Ty Llewelyn during Storm Brian and the weather didn’t matter one bit. The cottage was warm and cozy and set within such beautiful surroundings we were very happy with our choice! During our long weekend we visited Swallow Falls, climbed Snowden on the Llanberis Path, attempted part of Tryfan, walked Llyn Ogden and survived Velocity at Zip World. It was all beautiful whatever the weather! The cottage extras were lovely too so a big thanks to the owner for their hospitality and preparation and great communication. We hope to come back soon and with our young daughters.

Nantlle cottage

“A dilemma whether to share this gem with anyone else - great holiday let, brilliant value for money, comfortable&cosy,” Instantly welcoming and comfortable, this cosy cottage provided my family a peaceful Winter holiday in a stunning location. The cottage is well-equipped, the beds are really comfy and there's a Co-Op less than 10 minutes away. The mountains are a stone's throw, the beaches a short drive away so it's really well situated for families or serious walkers. Although I'm telling everyone I know about this place I'm not sure I want to share it! Great value for money. I didn't want to leave. The stairs are steep so tiny tots or people with dodgy knees beware!

Llanberis holiday home rental

Llanberis house

  • 1 bedroom
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 2

“In A beautiful spot” The house is in a quiet spot just off the High Street, close enough to shops, bars etc, yet when you sit on the balcony looking out over the lake you'd think you were a world away. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, so good we want to return next year. Maria was most welcoming and helpful, let us leave our car in the drive on the last day while we went on the Snowdon train, which saved us paying parking. There's plenty do in the area even when the weather is poor, the Slate museum (free entry) and Electric Mountain are musts, as is a trip up Snowden. We fell in love with Llanberis and the amazing views and countryside around it, and of course the people who made us welcome everywhere we went.

“Amazing location” Beautiful Welsh cottage, very homely and well equipped. The location is amazing, perfect for walking our dog. The views from the cottage were lovely, especially the back garden if you dare to go up the steep steps, its worth it! We were very lucky with the weather but imagine its very cosy in winter with the log burner. The neighbours & everyone you meet in the village were so welcoming & friendly. We ate in the Red lion all 3 nights we were there so highly recommended. And the cafe did fab coffee & cakes. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mark for letting out your quaint cottage.

“Great place place to stay in Tenby” What a wonderful location! great views of the North and the Harbour beaches from thewell placed balcony, which we made great use of in the glorious weather! The apartment is well appointed and comfortable, clean and well presented. The many flights of steps to carry luggage up was hard work and taller guests need to watch their heads on low beams. One of the showers did not work properly (though we were warned of this) and the TV was difficult to use. Overall though, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment to others

It was spacious very clean and a very cosy place to be over Christmas. The pool was very enjoyable for the children and the site also a lovely place with amazing views. “Exceeded Expectations!” My Mrs and I were looking for a quick getaway from running our business everyday and needed a much earned rest. Dafydd wasted no time in making us welcome and comfortable. Showed us to our lodge/cabin and I was totally stunned at how nice it was. He also put the heating on before we arrived so it was nice and warm. Dafydd also surprised us with a hot tub/lazy spa next to our cabin which was a real bonus! I would recommend staying here to anyone. We will definitely return for longer next time as we only stayed one night but Dafydd allowed us to have a late check out which was real kind of him. He also gave us a heap of information in case we wanted to go out for a drink and catch a train back and also informed us of local takeaways in case we didn’t fancy cooking. Thanks once again and we look forward to our next stay.

“So cosy, stunning location.” My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in March. It snowed while we were there and we found ourselves staranded in the cottage, however this only made our stay more special. Because of its stunning location we still managed to walk to the base of moel siabod passing a beautiful lake on the way seeing some beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Elwyn the owner saved the day by delivering some well received mulled wine which went down well after a few hours walking. The cottage is well equipped with lovely underfloor heating and wood burner to keep you toasty when it’s -6 outside. All attractions like Zip world, Snowdon Mountain Railway and all popular walks were within easy reach by car from the cottage, We will be returning this year and would recommend.

“Absolutely amazing” We have just returned from an amazing week in swy-n-don. Everything was perfect. We had beautiful weather which was a bonus because in bad weather it would still have been an amazing week. The view was like heaven, didn't need to go anywhere just sat on the decking most off the week. The bungalow was everything you could wish for in a property, the rooms spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and brilliantly laid out for eating together as a family whilst enjoying the few. The ONLY fault was that we weren't there long enough the week went way to quick. Cant wait to return.

“Perfectly remote!” The Boathouse is perfectly remote, just what my husband and 2 yr old needed. We may have had some of the wettest weather for months, but the Boathouse was the perfect base to explore Snowdonia. The house was clean and warm on arrival, with everything we could possibly need for the week. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the spacious double height lounge area, as it served as a great stage for her ballet performances. The photos don't do the space in the house justice, I was expecting it to be quite small, but it was perfect.

“Lovely, peaceful and cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings.” A beautiful period Welsh cottage with gorgeous gardens. Perfect for families with dogs, it is owned by the nicest and most obliging couple, Sheena and Ian, who know the area very well and suggested some beautiful walks nearby. This is our second visit here and both times have been perfect. The cottage has everything you need and is always kept so clean! Saundersfoot house

  • 5 bedrooms
  • 5 bathrooms
  • sleeps 12

“Amazing views and amazing apartments” We booked both apartments for a group of friends and had a fantastic weekend. The main highlights of the place I'd say were the pool and the views. The pool was heated, and it was lovely to just spend time sat in the sun out on the decking. The views were beautiful (and if you're in the pool it feels like a infinity pool). It looks like Saundersfoot is a long walk but it actually only takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The apartments are nicely decorated. We spent most of the time in the bigger apartment. The kitchen area has sliding doors on to the balcony - plenty of room for us to relax with a glass of wine and have a chat while we cooked dinner. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I'd stay again.

Wales holidays

Epic mountains, rousing choirs, stunning scenery and a lyrical language; Wales may be small, but its landscape and culture is mighty. Expect a warm ‘croeso’ (welcome) as bright and cheery as a daffodil and rugby-pitch loads of fun when you visit this extraordinary country.

Mountain Adventures

Is that mist rising from the hills or Welsh dragon smoke? For views that will make you catch your breath, ascend the stunningly beautiful Snowdon surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. If you’re feeling too tired to clamber back down, why not hop aboard the mountain railway? Speaking of railways, one of the best ways to see the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons is from the comfort of a steam train carriage. If that sounds too easy, how about having a go at horse riding near Pen y Fan? Other must-see mountains include the Tryfan in Snowdonia and the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire.

City Sights

Wales’ capital Cardiff is jam-packed with things to see and do. If you’re a rugby fan, be sure to check out the iconic Millennium Stadium that’s been hosting major events since 1999. Cardiff Bay is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and, if you’re a Doctor Who enthusiast, you’ll find the Doctor Who Experience here, too.

Coast To Coast

If you like to be beside the seaside and still be close to the buzz of the city, you can have your Welsh cake and eat it in Swansea. For beautiful bays and wonderful walks, head to the Gower Peninsula and for literary types, the Dylan Thomas Birth Place is sure to impress. To see Britain’s smallest city, travel west to St David’s in Pembrokeshire. Its stunning cathedral, independent shops and glorious coast will have you coming back year after year. Tempted? Choose from hundreds of cottages and log cabins in Wales.

Fantastic accommodation

The accommodation catered for the needs of our family holiday. 5 of us staying plus dog. Everything we needed in the house, property clean and tidy, can’t fault it. Lovely views even during our wet week!! We will definitely be back for another stay. Any questions were received with a swift response from Alan before our stay. We did’t need to contact Alan during our stay as no issues occurred. Would recommend this house to others.see more
Rose Cottage - Holiday Home with WiFi!
Ideal location to explore Pembrokeshire and Tenby

Stayed here with my wife and two children aged 13 and 9. We all enjoyed our stay here. The place is snug with essentially four rooms but enough as a base to enjoy the nearby beaches, walks and Tenby as a family. Tenby is a 20 minute drive away with the local beach a 5 minute walk away. Pros: * Location, the beach nearby is lovely; * Place full of useful left items like hand soap, tea/coffee/sugar/ washing up liquid etc (we left things we thought other families will use); * WIFI; * Towels for beach and home use; * Warm electric shower; * Grassy area to the rear for children to run around. Cons: * If you don’t like spiders, this place isn’t for you. Over the course of the week, we must have removed around 30 from the property; *Sky satellite dish didn’t get a signal all week; * electric hob on the cooker didn’t work; * pull out sofa was so uncomfortable - this needs an upgrade. We would stay here again and with the right weather, you’ll have a fantastic time here.see more
