“Beautiful spot!” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and had absolutely everything we needed! The sauna was an amazing perk, and having Netflix on the TV, a record player and a coffee machine was great for the one rainy day we had. There are lots of lovely walks in the area too and some great places to stop for food in Llangollen. Lovely place, lovely host, would 100% recommend!

“Fantastic stay” Lovely cottage, found clean & tidy on arrival. Very spacious for the five of us, 3 adults, 2 children & our dog. Had everything we needed, wifi a bonus. Amazing views to wake up to every morning, enough parking space for both cars and the green area across the road through a small gate was great for taking the dog for walks, leads to a little beach too. Short walk into Barmouth with lots of places to eat and drink, shops, amusements and a fair for the kids and beautiful beaches, also a co-op to do a bit of shopping. Would recommend Harlech for a drive out. Overall a great holiday and would stay at this cottage again if we return to Barmouth anytime.

“So cosy, stunning location.” My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in March. It snowed while we were there and we found ourselves staranded in the cottage, however this only made our stay more special. Because of its stunning location we still managed to walk to the base of moel siabod passing a beautiful lake on the way seeing some beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Elwyn the owner saved the day by delivering some well received mulled wine which went down well after a few hours walking. The cottage is well equipped with lovely underfloor heating and wood burner to keep you toasty when it’s -6 outside. All attractions like Zip world, Snowdon Mountain Railway and all popular walks were within easy reach by car from the cottage, We will be returning this year and would recommend.

“The Gateway Porthcawl” Excellent apartment. Spacious, clean throughout and comfortable. We are a family of 5 with dog and it was more than enough room. Stayed 3 nights and didn't want to come back. The welcome basket of food was brilliant and plentiful, never been anywhere that has supplied one before. Nothing was too much trouble for Kay and Andrew. If we needed anything, they were sorting it out within minutes. Will be going again.

“Great place place to stay in Tenby” What a wonderful location! great views of the North and the Harbour beaches from thewell placed balcony, which we made great use of in the glorious weather! The apartment is well appointed and comfortable, clean and well presented. The many flights of steps to carry luggage up was hard work and taller guests need to watch their heads on low beams. One of the showers did not work properly (though we were warned of this) and the TV was difficult to use. Overall though, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment to others

Wales holiday lodge rental

Broad Haven lodge

“Fanastic holiday” We were really looking forward to our holiday at Timberhill and were so pleased when the Welsh government eased restrictions which enabled us to come! We were not disappointed and the amazing location just a short walk (or in our childrens' case-run!) from Broadhaven beach, really made the holiday.. On the evening of our arrival we literally had to tear ourselves away from watching the sun go down over the hoirizon at the beach...the photo opportunities just seemed to get better and better. We spent our week exploring so many beautiful beaches, all with something unique and amazing to offer. We all spent many happy times in or next to the sea. The lodge itself was great and for the 6 of us (2 adults and four children aged 6-10)was perfectly adequate. We loved the homely decor and the children loved watching the birds come right up to the window to be fed. The small kitchen was really well equipped and the living area was really comfortable. The only thing we could really have done with which wasn't available, was a place to dry our beach things every day. We managed with a makeshift piece of rope which we'd brought., but a washing line outside would be really helpful (maybe that's not allowed due to being a national park or something though...) Anyway, we really did have a wonderful time. Thanks

Llanberis holiday home rental

Llanberis house

  • 1 bedroom
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 2

“In A beautiful spot” The house is in a quiet spot just off the High Street, close enough to shops, bars etc, yet when you sit on the balcony looking out over the lake you'd think you were a world away. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, so good we want to return next year. Maria was most welcoming and helpful, let us leave our car in the drive on the last day while we went on the Snowdon train, which saved us paying parking. There's plenty do in the area even when the weather is poor, the Slate museum (free entry) and Electric Mountain are musts, as is a trip up Snowden. We fell in love with Llanberis and the amazing views and countryside around it, and of course the people who made us welcome everywhere we went.

“Andy” Excellent property for a stay in Rhosneigr. House very spacious, with all the necessary household facilities and extras such as Sky tv, wifi, etc. It also has a personal touch as it is decorated with loads of paintings and ornaments with a beach theme. It feels like a 'home from home' as soon as you walk in. Central location is ideal, being situated really close to beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended, looking forward to going back again sometime soon.

“Comfortable base to explore beautiful coastline.” The booking process was really easy and the communications from the owner were very clear. We found 'The Mermaid' to be everything we hoped for and more! We loved the secluded garden area outside the patio doors and we were very impressed with the beautifully appointed, modern bathroom. The holiday home was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. We love this area and we explored the beautiful beaches and coastal paths, returning in the evening to our comfortable accommodation. We will certainly return soon.

“An amazing holiday” I booked this as a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday. We were all so impressed with the spacious feel to the property, how clean it was and how close it was to the beach. We were able to spend most of the holiday not needing to use the cars as there were so many places to walk.A walk to Wise man's bridge is a must and the children could use their scooters. We had everything we needed in the property. A barbecue could be a useful addition especially for the warmer weather. If you have very young children, a cot stair gates, a highchair, booster seat and children's cups, plates and cutlery were all available. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Very easy to recommend to others.

“Brilliant house- highly recommended” Our second visit to Conwy Lodge was as great as the first. Lovely and clean on arrival with tea, coffee, biscuits and milk. Good quality towels and bedding provided. Lovely enclosed garden- safe for toddlers and we got to use the garden furniture this year!! Surrounded by a field which this year contained cows- makes you feel like you're in the countryside when in fact you are less than 10 minutes drive to both beaches and all shops. We had an issue with the electricity on Sunday evening which was very swiftly rectified by Mark from the management team. Very pleased again with our visit here and hope we can return again.

“Lovely, peaceful and cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings.” A beautiful period Welsh cottage with gorgeous gardens. Perfect for families with dogs, it is owned by the nicest and most obliging couple, Sheena and Ian, who know the area very well and suggested some beautiful walks nearby. “Perfectly remote!” The Boathouse is perfectly remote, just what my husband and 2 yr old needed. We may have had some of the wettest weather for months, but the Boathouse was the perfect base to explore Snowdonia. The house was clean and warm on arrival, with everything we could possibly need for the week. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the spacious double height lounge area, as it served as a great stage for her ballet performances. The photos don't do the space in the house justice, I was expecting it to be quite small, but it was perfect.

“Wonderful Anniversary retreat” We stayed at Ty Llewelyn during Storm Brian and the weather didn’t matter one bit. The cottage was warm and cozy and set within such beautiful surroundings we were very happy with our choice! During our long weekend we visited Swallow Falls, climbed Snowden on the Llanberis Path, attempted part of Tryfan, walked Llyn Ogden and survived Velocity at Zip World. It was all beautiful whatever the weather! The cottage extras were lovely too so a big thanks to the owner for their hospitality and preparation and great communication. Wales holidays

Epic mountains, rousing choirs, stunning scenery and a lyrical language; Wales may be small, but its landscape and culture is mighty. Expect a warm ‘croeso’ (welcome) as bright and cheery as a daffodil and rugby-pitch loads of fun when you visit this extraordinary country.

Mountain Adventures

Is that mist rising from the hills or Welsh dragon smoke? For views that will make you catch your breath, ascend the stunningly beautiful Snowdon surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. If you’re feeling too tired to clamber back down, why not hop aboard the mountain railway? Speaking of railways, one of the best ways to see the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons is from the comfort of a steam train carriage. If that sounds too easy, how about having a go at horse riding near Pen y Fan? Other must-see mountains include the Tryfan in Snowdonia and the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire.

City Sights

Wales’ capital Cardiff is jam-packed with things to see and do. If you’re a rugby fan, be sure to check out the iconic Millennium Stadium that’s been hosting major events since 1999. Cardiff Bay is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and, if you’re a Doctor Who enthusiast, you’ll find the Doctor Who Experience here, too.

Coast To Coast

If you like to be beside the seaside and still be close to the buzz of the city, you can have your Welsh cake and eat it in Swansea. For beautiful bays and wonderful walks, head to the Gower Peninsula and for literary types, the Dylan Thomas Birth Place is sure to impress. To see Britain’s smallest city, travel west to St David’s in Pembrokeshire. Its stunning cathedral, independent shops and glorious coast will have you coming back year after year. Tempted? Choose from hundreds of cottages and log cabins in Wales.

Stunning apartment in a fantastic location

We have just returned from our stay at The Oaks. The Apartment is stunning, modern, spacious and feels like home when you stay. The apartment is a great size with 2 bathrooms, a large open plan living and kitchen area with a log fire and 2 big bedrooms. It has a very large garden that leads to a short walk through the woods, great for the kids to play outside. There's also a lovely outside terrace leading from the main bedroom. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. The apartment is in a great location and each place we visited was with in a 15-20 min drive. Whilst there we visited Barafundle bay, Stackpole Quay, Tenby, milford waterfront, Broadhaven South Beach, marloes sands and ended our stay at Freshwater West Beach. We can't wait to return and would stay here again! Thank you The Oaks, what an incredible holiday!see more

Beautiful Family Getaway

My wife and I visited this idilic cottage in the beautiful welsh countryside for five days and didn’t want to leave. The cottage was perfect for us as we have a six month old baby boy. We could relax, have meals outside over looking the hills, walk locally or drive into the nearby town. It really is the perfect cottage to forget about the hustle and bustle of life and just sit and take the world in. Antonia was lovely and welcomed us when we arrived. She really had thought of everything and made us feel like it was our home for those five days. Will be visiting again and again.see more

It was a lovely clean place. The owners are amazing people Tony and Deb. They always replied to my questions before my trip and when I arrived it was a really clean and tidy cabin. Everything was available that I needed for my stay and I would like to say thank you for decorating the cabin for my daughters birthday she really was soo happy and it made the whole stay really amazing. I can't state how helpful the owners where and they never once ignored any of my messages. I would most definitely book this cabin again.see more
