“Cosy cottage not too far off the beaten track.” Picked this location to explore the many beaches to the North of the island. It was perfect for that and coming "home" in the evening to light the fire was a real treat. This cottage is well equipped and has all you would need in your home from home.

“Great location” Lovely cottage with great views. Everything we needed was provided. Close to a convenience shop and chippy. Lovely beaches a short walk away and lots of interesting places to visit a short drive away. Owner very helpful. One of the sofas could do with replacing / recovering but this may well have been done by now.

“A lovely cottage!” I travelled for the night with my husband and then 5 year old daughter so that we could visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo nearly. It was a really good location to get there and in to town. We were near enough to go to Llandudno for the day too. The place was warm and cosy and the owners friendly. We loved the bath! There was a great pub a short walk away with lovely food and views. Thank you.

“cosy, comfortable, full of character” Pencraig is a wonderful, get away from it all holiday cottage. It's well equipped, cosy and has a wealth of books, games and art to keep you amused inside, plus there are two tables to sit at outside. It's situated in an ideal position - halfway between two beaches, with the spectacular coastal path to walk between them. Both the village stores (which has won awards for being so friendly and helpful) and the garage are great places to shop - try their honey and spelt bread and the local organic cheese. The Preseli hills are a great place for food - try and get some of the local honey if you can, it smells of freshly mown grass and gorse flowers. Wherever you go, there is something to discover and this being Wales, everyone is friendly and helpful. Mike, the cottage owner, is very helpful and an extremely interesting person. We had a fantastic week here!

Holiday cottage in Wales

Angle cottage

2 bedrooms • 1 bathroom • sleeps 4

“Stunning location, cosy cottages.” We have stayed at both The Stable and The Dairy, the latter was May 2011 and we stayed at The Stable in May 2008. Both cottages are extremely cosy and comfortable and in an absolutely stunning location. I really felt the need to add a review after reading the last awful comment left by the family who stayed in August 2011. I'm totally shocked that they could describe such a beautiful place in such a negative way. I have read the guest books in each cottage and I can honestly say there wasn't one bad comment and guests seem to return again and again, so that says it all! So to sum things up in short, Angle beach is CLEAN, safe and just 2 minutes walk. There are stunning coastal walks, one we did was to Freshwater West beach, amazing views of sea and countryside (not industrial), oh there may be slight glimpses of BP Milford Haven, but that's more mystical in a funny way than ugly. The cottages themselves are well equipped and cosy, a lovely base to go back to after a great day out in this fantastic area. Last point to mention, you don't have to go all the way to Pembroke dock to shop, there's a perfectly good Co-op in the beautiful medieval town of Pembroke, which is 10-15 minutes drive.

“Honeymoon break” Getting married in Feb we decided to book a UK stay as we have a baby and wanted to avoid any long haul flights, we booked this accommodation and we couldn't have done better! Lovely, well maintained and well provisioned property, with charming hosts who were incredibly helpful. The view out over the valleys is stunning and the hot tub was a perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The location itself is perfect, halfway between Chester (And the nearby shopping outlet!) and we also ventured down to Conwy and Llandudno which are both charming little places. Plenty to do and see nearby and we are already thinking of coming back for another visit, and have recommended it to several of our family!

“Perfect For All Attractions” "Hengoed Cottage" is the TARDIS of the self catering Cottages from the outside it looks very inviting with the timber Decking area to have your drinks on a sunny day or evening. What took us by surprise was how well the cottage is equipped, you would be hard pressed to find anything that you needed in the kitchen or other wise that was not catered for. Our 6yr old Grandson was pleased to find his bedroom had two beds one for him and one for his friends Micky Mouse, Poo bear and his giant Dopey the Dwarf and Wifi for his ipad. If you wanted to use the bus service Arriva (bus stop at the end of the road) Arriva do a ticket for all day travel for £3:90pp with your freedom pass which we used to great effect. We would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.

Tenby apartment

“Great apartment and location.” This apartment a very central location in Tenby, minutes from the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants; this was a lovely place to stay for a few days (even with the building works, which we fully were warned about). The apartment was very clean and well equipped, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay and a bit more. Picking up and dropping off the keys was very straightforward. I would thoroughly recommend this place, if you don't mind a top floor location and a bit of noise; the building work wasn't too intrusive, and will presumably end at some point; also, it is very near to a lot of pubs and restaurants.

“Faultless romantic getaway” We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the Bothy and our fantastic hospitality from Thomas. From the luxurious spa bathroom, to the gorgeous rolling hilltops, the Bothy really did make an unforgettable first getaway for us. The spa bathroom made for total relaxation and the wood fired hot tub was positioned perfectly for sipping Sauvignon while gazing out onto the amazing views and scenery that the Bothy has to offer. Nothing was too much trouble for Thomas during our stay and the Bothy is a credit to his hard work, care and attention to detail. We cannot wait to return and will definitely be rebooking!

“Brilliant house rental right on the sea front!” We were looking for somewhere near the sea... This was on the opposite side of the street that ran alongside the sea front! Absolutely perfect location for what we wanted, our dog was allowed, and our 12 month old baby was catered for with a cot, high chair, and stair gates. The accomodation was very spacious, really well presented with all the facilities you could want (3 TV's!), with the possible exception of Wifi internet - the mobile internet was very poor here, and I work in IT so I did miss the internet! We had a lovely stay, the village/town has a good supermarket, a fair few restaurants/take outs, and for us we would definately go back again. There was no garden as it was all an outside patio, but this didn't matter at all with the beach being so close by for our dog! Highly recommended!

“Home from home” We have had a wonderful week at Glasfôr. The spacious, beach themed house was spotless & well equipped to a very high standard, with many added extras such as toys & games (for indoors & the beach) for children. The accommodation, over three floors, was well suited for our extended family, with comfortable beds & seating. The location was ideal for our needs - a five minute walk to the stunning, blue flag beach, local shops & restaurants. We have many happy memories. Highly recommended.

Wales holidays

Epic mountains, rousing choirs, stunning scenery and a lyrical language; Wales may be small, but its landscape and culture is mighty. Expect a warm ‘croeso’ (welcome) as bright and cheery as a daffodil and rugby-pitch loads of fun when you visit this extraordinary country.

Mountain Adventures

Is that mist rising from the hills or Welsh dragon smoke? For views that will make you catch your breath, ascend the stunningly beautiful Snowdon surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. If you’re feeling too tired to clamber back down, why not hop aboard the mountain railway? Speaking of railways, one of the best ways to see the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons is from the comfort of a steam train carriage. If that sounds too easy, how about having a go at horse riding near Pen y Fan? Other must-see mountains include the Tryfan in Snowdonia and the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire.

City Sights

Wales’ capital Cardiff is jam-packed with things to see and do. If you’re a rugby fan, be sure to check out the iconic Millennium Stadium that’s been hosting major events since 1999. Cardiff Bay is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and, if you’re a Doctor Who enthusiast, you’ll find the Doctor Who Experience here, too.

Coast To Coast

If you like to be beside the seaside and still be close to the buzz of the city, you can have your Welsh cake and eat it in Swansea. For beautiful bays and wonderful walks, head to the Gower Peninsula and for literary types, the Dylan Thomas Birth Place is sure to impress. To see Britain’s smallest city, travel west to St David’s in Pembrokeshire. Its stunning cathedral, independent shops and glorious coast will have you coming back year after year. Tempted? Choose from hundreds of cottages and log cabins in Wales.

Beautiful cottage, relaxing break

We had a fantastic stay here at No 4. The cottage is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, lovely shower and comfy beds. Lots of items in kitchen, cleaning products and toilet roll provided. Very nice little garden / terrace with sun in the morning for breakfast and in the evening too for a G & T! Convenient parking space opposite provided and we were able to lock our bikes in the shed. It’s a W uiet village near Kidwelly, with local pub serving good food (book in advance if you can). Walk to lovely coastal views from the village, check out the secret view spot in the ‘butterfly garden’. It’s within easy walk/cycle of coastal path / sustrans 4 cycle route. We made the drive to beautiful Gower in less than hour, but otherwise we stayed local visiting Dinefwr National Trust, the amazing Pembrey country/ coastal park and we cycled the millennium coastal path from Llanelli (we recommend ‘Mr Chips’ to collect fish and chips we then ate on the beach!) A lovely relaxing week!see more
Osbourne House
Absolutely perfect

I cannot recommend this house enough. Loved every minute of our holiday. The house was clean and had plenty of space and a beautiful little garden at the back. We had 4 children with us ages from 3-10. They loved all stairs and different floors. (There are 4) there is a large dining table on the lowest floor along with a living space and toilet/shower. The kitchen is on the ground floor with another living room. The first floor has two double bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet. (The toilet here is not the best, but this is my ONLY niggle with the whole house) the top floor has two single beds and a double bed. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The beach is about a 15 minute walk through woodland (there is a nearer beach but we preferred the 15 min walk one). There is a castle ruin about the same distance away and a couple of pubs a two minute walk away. Very quiet and peaceful but thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you to the owner. Perfect.see more
