“Perfect accomodation in a great location” This is really good sized accommodation quite deceptive as it looks smaller. Everything you need is there and it's nice to have somewhere that welcomes dogs and children?
“cosy, comfortable, full of character” Pencraig is a wonderful, get away from it all holiday cottage. It's well equipped, cosy and has a wealth of books, games and art to keep you amused inside, plus there are two tables to sit at outside. It's situated in an ideal position - halfway between two beaches, with the spectacular coastal path to walk between them. Both the village stores (which has won awards for being so friendly and helpful) and the garage are great places to shop - try their honey and spelt bread and the local organic cheese. The Preseli hills are a great place for food - try and get some of the local honey if you can, it smells of freshly mown grass and gorse flowers. Wherever you go, there is something to discover and this being Wales, everyone is friendly and helpful. Mike, the cottage owner, is very helpful and an extremely interesting person. We had a fantastic week here!
“Stunning cottage” A beautiful cottage tucked away, everything you could need, it was like home from home. We stayed for 4 nights, and enjoyed exploring the Island making memories. All questions were answered straight away and upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely gift hamper and a bottle of milk. We will definitely be returning.
“Fantastic Views” I have just spent 4 nights at Trefonen House With my family to celebrate my birthday.
We had an amazing time. The house was beautiful with gorgeous sea views. The younger members (and some of the older ones) thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the BBQ Hut.
Kayaks were rented one day and they were delivered to the house which was ideal as access to the beach could be gained from the garden.
Lots of lovely eating places around, in particular The Black Seal in Trearddur Bay.
Would definitely stay at Trefonen House in the future
“Perfect For All Attractions” "Hengoed Cottage" is the TARDIS of the self catering Cottages from the outside it looks very inviting with the timber Decking area to have your drinks on a sunny day or evening. What took us by surprise was how well the cottage is equipped, you would be hard pressed to find anything that you needed in the kitchen or other wise that was not catered for. Our 6yr old Grandson was pleased to find his bedroom had two beds one for him and one for his friends Micky Mouse, Poo bear and his giant Dopey the Dwarf and Wifi for his ipad. If you wanted to use the bus service Arriva (bus stop at the end of the road) Arriva do a ticket for all day travel for £3:90pp with your freedom pass which we used to great effect. We would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.
“A great holiday in a great house” Unusually, the pictures didn't lie! We were hoping for a great holiday home and Oceana delivered! Fantastic views, great pool - decent size.
The walk back from Saundersfoot is a bit of a challenge - but is made much easier by going via the St Brides Hotel bar (More great views!)
“Honeymoon break” Getting married in Feb we decided to book a UK stay as we have a baby and wanted to avoid any long haul flights, we booked this accommodation and we couldn't have done better!
Lovely, well maintained and well provisioned property, with charming hosts who were incredibly helpful. The view out over the valleys is stunning and the hot tub was a perfect place to unwind after a busy day.
The location itself is perfect, halfway between Chester (And the nearby shopping outlet!) and we also ventured down to Conwy and Llandudno which are both charming little places. Plenty to do and see nearby and we are already thinking of coming back for another visit, and have recommended it to several of our family!
“Excellent comfortable, cosy & quiet accomodation in a beautiful area of South Wales” The cottage is excellent. It is very modern, well equipped and very suitable to travelling couples although it will accommodate up to 4 people. It is situated in a quiet residential area of Mumbles with no more than a 5-10 minute stroll to the huge Swansea Bay.
The cottage is a completely separate part of the owners Chris and Sarah's property who may I add were superb hosts for which nothing was too much trouble.
One of the reasons we chose Riversdale Cottage was its actual location and we were richly rewarded.. It is ideally situated to explore the absolutely delightful Gower Peninsula with its beautiful coastline & beaches. There are also a number of beautiful country parks nearby i.e Clyne Valley, Gnoll, Margam and Afan Forest. Should you wish to venture a little further than why not try the Brecon Beacons or the delightful Tenby.
I have no reservation at all in recommending Riversdale Cottage and although we never usually return to the same area or holiday accommodation we may make an exception with Riversdale Cottage and the Gower.
Thanks once again to Chris and Sarah for their hospitality.
“Perfect location” The location is superb with both beach and coastal path within minutes of the cottage door, the cottage is a peaceful retreat at the end of a day's walking around the islands many stunning places.
“A relaxing secluded and very cosy cottage” When I looked up Snowdon cottage the first thing I wanted to know whether it was close to the mountains of Snowdonia. Once I had spoken to Anne the owner all was clarified. It is in the heart of Llanberis. Everything you need to see is on your doorstep.Upon arrival to the Cottage there's a driveway where you can park your car off street. The cottage is lovely really cosy and homely . Well equipped kitchen where we cooked for 3nights. The living room has an open fire which just made it lovely and warm. The bedrooms are spacious and well lit. Overall the cottage is clean and in excellent condition. The landlords Anne and Jim were very accommodating and friendly which makes us want to come back to Llanberis. Thank you Jim for starting the fire for us on the first night and supplying more logs.
“Exceptional” We have never stayed in a holiday letting that has been so thoughtfully equipped. We loved it. Fittings and furniture were of the highest quality, and every attempt has been made to ensure that the guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay (Right down to the reading glasses provided for forgetful visitors!). The apartment is well located - with the full length window in the living area giving a lovely view of the river. The bus stop is two minutes away, and a taxi ride back from Cardiff city at night was very reasonably priced. To be honest though, we could have spent the three days just in the apartment - we loved it so much. Will definitely return.
“TWMBARLWM IS A SUPERB HOLIDAY HOME” I am so pleased we chose Twmbarlwm as our holiday baseThe house is so
well-,equiped,including the kitchen, dining and lounge areas .All bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The driveway can accommodate 4/5 cars, but the house is only a short walk to the centre where there are plenty of shops and places to eat.catering for all tastes Tenby is a lovely holiday location with pristine beaches, lots of shops and so much to explore ln the surrounding area. We will definitely be back to this house very soon
“Fantastic accomodation!!!!!” Stayed in Llandudno many times and this property tops the list.... the house was clean and spacious, well equipped and the kids loved 'their floor'. (Top floor had own kitchen and tv) great location for the town centre and no problem parking either. The owner left plenty of tea/coffee and chocolate for the kids. Great to communicate with too. I really can't fault it!!!!! 5☆☆☆☆☆ all the way. Now comes with wi-fi too.... lovely house... the Babb/Jordi's
“Excellent property in a beautiful location” We have just returned from a fabulous week staying at this lovely property. It is very comfortable and everything you could wish for is provided. The garden and seating area were fully used as the sun shone for the whole week and the view from the garden over the sea to the mountains of Snowdonia was spectacular. You can relax immediately. The agents only being next door was very good and they are both really friendly and helpful. I can recommend the fish and chip shop and Anns Pantry in Moelfre as well as The Old Boathouse at Red Wharf Bay if you want a break from cooking. Hope to be back next year.
“Ideal Location and perfect accomodation for our needs” Firstly location, ideal for exploring around the northern area of Pembrokeshire coast, for example: Broad Haven, Newgale, Solva, St Davids and Whitesands, etc. Also not too far away from our favourites of Tenby, Saundersfoot and Wisemans Bridge.
The accommodation was great, compact for the 2 of us, but would sleep 4 with the use of the sofa bed, which we didn't use. Excellent communication from the owner "Annie" from the start.
Very clean on arrival, good tv seating area and good all round kitchen and bathroom areas. The house faces south, utilising the sun on the terrace during the day, The house is situated within a 20 second walk to the first of three well served pubs, providing good quality food.
Also of note in this day and age, excellent Wi Fi Connection
As you can probably read into this review, we enjoyed very much our stay.

Epic mountains, rousing choirs, stunning scenery and a lyrical language; Wales may be small, but its landscape and culture is mighty. Expect a warm ‘croeso’ (welcome) as bright and cheery as a daffodil and rugby-pitch loads of fun when you visit this extraordinary country.
Is that mist rising from the hills or Welsh dragon smoke? For views that will make you catch your breath, ascend the stunningly beautiful Snowdon surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. If you’re feeling too tired to clamber back down, why not hop aboard the mountain railway? Speaking of railways, one of the best ways to see the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons is from the comfort of a steam train carriage. If that sounds too easy, how about having a go at horse riding near Pen y Fan? Other must-see mountains include the Tryfan in Snowdonia and the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire.
Wales’ capital Cardiff is jam-packed with things to see and do. If you’re a rugby fan, be sure to check out the iconic Millennium Stadium that’s been hosting major events since 1999. Cardiff Bay is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and, if you’re a Doctor Who enthusiast, you’ll find the Doctor Who Experience here, too.
Coast To Coast
If you like to be beside the seaside and still be close to the buzz of the city, you can have your Welsh cake and eat it in Swansea. For beautiful bays and wonderful walks, head to the Gower Peninsula and for literary types, the Dylan Thomas Birth Place is sure to impress. To see Britain’s smallest city, travel west to St David’s in Pembrokeshire. Its stunning cathedral, independent shops and glorious coast will have you coming back year after year. Tempted? Choose from hundreds of cottages and log cabins in Wales.

A great getaway ❤️
This little cottage was a lovely break away for me and my boyfriend. It was super clean and was the perfect little hideaway for 4 days away from busy work and life. We loved the pool which was mega warm and relaxing! We even sat on the floats and watched the tv in there one evening!! We were greeted by lovely hosts when we first arrived to show us around and there was a lovely hamper when we arrived with biscuits, wine, cheese and chocolate along with homemade cake!! We didnt expect that so it was a lovely suprise! Sky tv incase you want a night in with a movie. Good facilities to cook your own food also. Good local pub grub and takeaways of all kinds local too.
Some local walks not far to drive too or to walk too. Perfect if you like hiking!

Thank you Rita for a lovely few days away in your cabin.
Immaculate and kitted out with everything you need. The price was really good and it's great to see letters making it affordable for people to take a short break on odd days if available instead of being ripped off or letters leaving the property left vacant,
