“Brilliant family holiday” Fab place pictures do not do it justice. Went on a family holiday with 5 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room. Brilliant location and plenty to do in the area. Tenby is a beautiful place and we will definitely go back.
“Excellent house and location for lovely break” Lovely house that makes you feel home from home. Spacious and well fitted out. Plenty to entertain all the family.
A short walk from the beach and cafes / bars. Great local shop too.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return to the location and the house.
“Amazing Appartment - in the heart of glorious Tenby” Myself and my sister stayed at this appartment for a long weekend with 4 children, and what an amazing time we had. Weather was brilliant for half term in February. The appartment is very spacious, 3 big bedrooms (one with en-suite), lovely bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room. Plenty of room, balcony. I cannot rate this appartment highly enough. There's also a secure car park space for each appartment. It's in an amaing location. Very well equiped with plenty of toys for the children, very clean, and very modern deco. We will definately be back in the near future :-) x
“Perfect!” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tenby. A tranquil, cosy flat, immaculately clean and very well equipped. Beautuliful views from the velux windows. A perfect location, central to all the local shops, pubs, restaurants and beautiful beaches! We enjoyed a very romantic meal in the Baytree Restaurant, top quality food and a great atmosphere. The Plantagenate was pricey, however the food, staff and atmosphere were well worth the cost. We couldn't pass the tiny fish bar on the Harbour without buying a tub of shellfish! A real seaside must! The coastal walk to Saundersfoot was tiring but totally breathtaking. The walks over on South beach were lovely too. We loved watching the tide come in as the boats bobbed up and down on the water. We sat on the wall with 2 glasses and a bottle of red, with the fishing rod that was kindly left by Adrian the owner, extremely theraputic and relaxing even though we didnt get a nibble! The seal safari was a great trip, quite reasonable and we were absolutely chuffed to see 3 seals! So cute!!!! The weather was the icing on the cake. We had an amazing break, we most definitely will be returning in the near future - and hopefully again and again and again as Mr and Mrs Wilson Many many thanks x
“Perfect seaside escape, comfortable, clean, lovely bungalow.” Just arrived back from a 2 night stay in this beautiful bungalow. Very peaceful, located on edge of village of kilgetty, however perfect as short drive to Saundersfoot and Tenby, so location gives you the best of both worlds. We were impressed the moment we walked through the door, very clean and modern and had everything we required, beds all made up ready for our arrival and a supply of clean towels left also. The bonus of the property having 3 bathrooms,2 with showers and one with a bath, meant I never had children knocking at the door during the stay as there was enough bathrooms for us all!the outlook at the back of the property, was lovely , onto fields with the animals and at night the surrounding villages all look beautiful lit up from the property. There is a railway line running at the bottom of the fields, however noise never troubled us, as I'm sure the trains must run at reasonable daytime hours. The garden all be it small, was perfect for our little dog,who also enjoyed watching the sheep and birds in the fields . Loved viewing platform. We also all imagined ourselves sat on the decked area in summer , taking in the views and enjoying the peace, being January we obviously didn't sit outside, but hope to return in summer to do so. The beds were super comfy, the sofa so comfy with the added bonus of 2 recliners within the sofa. Tv in each room, and Netflix available WiFi also which of course pleased our teenagers.only things I would say and this is not meant as a criticism as we loved everything, but there are stone floors throughout property, so ensure you take slippers with you, I did ,so was cosy, hubby forgot his, but we just laughed as he hopped across the cold floor. Like I said not a negative but just something to bear in mind to take for your stay. The only other thing we found was we had clearly set the timer or something wrong on the oven as it stopped, half way through us cooking a Sunday roast, luckily I noticed quite quickly so all was saved. It was definitely our error and Im in no doubt if I contacted the owner he would have talked us through the oven, as he provided me with his numbers etc before our arrival and said he was contactable if needed during our stay. However we managed in the end and I wouldn't want to have distured anyone on a Sunday evening,so just a pointer may be useful to leave some simple instructions for oven at the property for silly guests like me.Also may be useful to leave a list of recommended restaurants /takeaways in thr area and maybe even some dog friendly suggestions as the property is dog friendly. However these are just pointers from a guests point of view not meant as a negative. We found 2 fab takeaways by googling anyway, an Indian in kilgetty village for 2 of us and a Chinese in pentlepoir for 2 others .so we all enjoyed a relaxing Saturday evening in this beautiful property.
We all loved loved loved our stay and even the dog didn't want to leave. It felt like home within a few hours of being there, only sorry we had such a short stay, will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the summer. Ticked the right boxes for us all, would highly recommend, perfect dog friendly/family retreat. Thanks so much for brightening up our January.
“Suberb relaxing holiday in excellent accommodation.” The apartment was excellent. Everything was there we only needed to take towels. Gorgeous view of the island, tenby and the sea. Just like a home from home. A minute walk to the train station, short drive into tenby although the walk along the beach to tenby is beautiful. Booking was really easy and kate was extremely helpful, answering any emails promptly. Would recommend to anyone. Great holiday.
“A beautiful house, moments from the sea.” Perfect accommodation for 2 families of 4 and grandparents. The location is fantastic. Plenty of space inside the house to separate noisy children, with two sitting rooms. when the adults needed a quiet rest! Extremely comfy beds and good sized bedrooms. A huge dining table and the kitchen met all our requirements. We have always loved Tenby and will definitely stay here again. Brilliant, thanks.
“Amazing” We stayed at this apartment this month (April) and the apartment was amazing! The photos on the website do not do it justice, it's so much better in real life. Really spacious and felt like a home from home. Bathrooms are really modern and clean. Swimming pool was great and location is perfect. We will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend as amazing value for money.

This walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire offers three miles of sandy beaches and plenty of historic attractions to see. Surrounded by a medieval stone wall, Tenby is a sight to behold but the wonders don't stop there. Nestled between the rolling Pembrokeshire hills and the placid waters of Carmarthen Bay, there has been a settlement here since the 9th century. From the early 19th century, Tenby became a fashionable holiday destination for both the Welsh and the English. The town is simply adorable, teeming with the archetypes of pubs and shops and summertime reverie. Visitors love the beaches (of course) but the Victorian houses painted in all types of colors are a welcoming scene as you settle into your vacation and explore Tenby.
Things to do in Tenby
The beaches are the main attraction of Tenby. Sit in the sun and play in the surf at Castle Beach or Freshwater East, two of the more popular beaches. Live the history at Carew Castle, a Norman castle that overlooks one of only 3 tidal mills left in Britain. Tenby Castle is located on a high rocky headland. Little now remains of this castle, however a fragmented, much repaired piece can be seen and toured. More modern attractions include Wales' only theme park at Oakwood, the Heatherton World of Adventure, the Dinosaur Park and Ocean Commotion, ensuring there is plenty to enjoy for kids too.
Head to Caldey Island on a short ferry where the island exudes calm, probably due to the ownership by a community of monks. Visitors can watch the birds or just relax on the beach here. St. Mary's Church is a 15th century relic with incredible architecture and a must-see spire. On Castle Hill the Tenby Museum & Art Gallery features landscapes and portraits from Pembrokeshire artists.
Walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for fantastic views of Caldey Island. Stroll the narrow cobbled streets of Tenby itself or sit in one of the many cafes and people-watch other visitors to the gift shops, restaurants and public houses, or wander along the harbour.
Lastly, the Tudor Merchant's House on Quay Hill is a museum of the life of a wealthy merchant and his family at the turn of the 16th century. The merchant's shop, kitchen and living room are furnished in the style of Tudor times.

Flat 1, Gunfort Mansions, a few metres from beach access.
The flat is just across the road to the beach - although access is via a steep set of steps
The flat is spacious and very clean with everything we could need for a short holiday
Please be aware that as the property is inside the town walls. Between July and mid September there is pedestrian access only during the day - this did cause us some difficulty on arrival. …
Warm welcome by Marie and Peter to a wonderful cottage
Snowdrop cottage is situated about 5 miles from Tenby. Very cosy cottage with absolutely everything you would need. Very clean and well equipped. Marie and Peter very hospitable and helpful hosts. Lots of welcome touches and nothing is too much trouble. Perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to go again. …
Milk churn cottage Tenby offers cosy well equipped self catering short breaks
Very nice welcome and lovely welcome pack with all the essentials. Had a very nice weekend away for my sons birthday, the weather was the only letdown but that can’t be helped.
Nice location, secluded but near to everything we wanted. 10 minute drive to Oakwood theme park and less to folly farm.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a break around the Tenby area but wants a parking space …
The perfect low key dog friendly location for exploring the beaches and towns of Southern Pembrokshire.
Dave was the perfect owner, just behind the property if you needed any info, but leaving you to yourselves the rest of the time. We were exceptionally fortunate to have a week of warm sunny weather. Start the week with a trip to Narbeth for those essential supplies for the BBQ supplied with charcoal and firelighters. Chill out on the seating on the south facing paved patio area before retiring to the comfy sofas and central heating. Travel easily and conveniently to the seaside spots of Saundersfoot, Amroth and Tenby or strike out to Freshwater West and of course, Bosherston. Brilliant castle at Carew.
Parking was easy and no problems with WIFI.
The dogs quickly made themselves at home and luxuriated in the open space available to them. This was ideal for a couple with large ground floor bedroom off the open living space and a large bathroom with bath and wet room style shower. Separate twin bedded room upstairs with lovely rural views. …
Lovely spacious house in excellent location
The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The house has beautifully clean and has many spacious rooms, the master bedroom is enormous. We had a 3 year old with us and there were games and copious DVDs to keep him amused when the weather was bad. It is a great location, close to many attractions for young children plus the lovely streets of old Tenby with great eating places. The house is well equipped with everything you could need and the communication with the owners went very smoothly. I would highly recommend. …

Beautiful location, clean, cosy caravan
I found booking Helen's caravan a smooth process from start to finish. She ensured that there was fresh milk, eggs and a bottle of wine for us on arrival, and the caravan was clean, nicely decorated and was well equipped for cooking!
My family absolutely loved it there.
The caravan itself is close to the park and was in a very quiet location when we stayed at the end of September.
The mattress wasn't comfortable for me, but my partner slept very well so maybe I am fussy. I couldn't be happier with it in every other way. It felt like a home from home and Ii would difinitely recommend this caravan to friends and family when they stay in Tenby. …
