“comfortable stay in a nice selfcatering home.” the stay at Ceiros cottage, gave us all we needed, including an internet acces.
It is situated in a quiet part of the little village up on the hill site.
The beds were very comfortable for us, overall it was well equipped, we had an pleasant stay and the owners were very friendly and very helpful if you needed them.
“Great Lodge. Beautiful Location” Stayed here for a 'mini-moon' break after our wedding just to get away for a few nights. The lodge was well equipped, warm and comfortable. Hot tub is lovely and with a nice view over the pond.
Enough space for 2 for a few days but feel would be a bit cramped with 3 or 4.
Mobile signal is patchy at best but you wont need it anyway if you are coming here to relax ( also note no WiFi - not a problem for us but may be for some).
Lane is a bit icy in winter so take care.
Could do with a first aid kit and some extra towels in one of the drawers perhaps.
Overall a lovely stay.
“Cosy central hideaway” So we escaped here for a weekend that turned out to be very cold and rainy. The flat was small but perfectly appointed which made it so cosy when hiding from the weather!! It is so central and handy for all hay on wye shops/cafes. The only negative was our stupidity when it came to working out the heating. The flat was very cold when we arrived and it took a little bit of time to warm up but once it did it was gorgeous.

Pool Road Cottage (Ty Twt)
Second Stay at a Delightful Old Cottage
This was the second stay at Pool Road Cottage. Which should say lot.
Staying for the week as posed for only few day this time. It was nice to see nothing had changed and made it felt more like returning home. The log burner ( (not used this as too warm), bed and cat still there to provide a comfy feel to the stay. We had a delightful stay and will look to return again sometime.
The cottage is ideal for a simple stay. If you can cope without a dishwasher etc. in the kitchen. Prepare simple meals and to take advantage of the village and local area for more sophisticated meals.
Its an ideal base for getting around the local area and to come back and relax afterward. If the weather is fine you can sit outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings or if not sit inside a put you feet up. All the cottage's (few) disadvantages are out weighed by it's charm and surrounding. An ideal place for a couple to relax at. …
