“Superb” House is superb very close to town and beach. Toddlers had a lovely time in the garden hot tub and play park. We were a party of 11 and there is plenty of space for everyone. It was so good when we got home we rebooked.

“Lovely Cosy Cottage” A beautiful cottage with everything you could need. The wood burner would be lovely in the winter. Ideal for a quiet get away. Small golf course down the road. Do a main shop before arrival as there is only a small shop in Letterston village. Karen was very thoughtful and provided milk, tea and some lovely carnations. Highly recommend to anyone .

“Very comfortable stay marred by noise and dust from builders” The Barn itself is well equipped and has been converted to a high spec. Its location next to the grounds of a large mansion and very close to Llangors Lake, is fabulous. The only outside space is the concrete courtyard (cracked and uneven) - this should be made clear in the description. Our stay was also marred by builders working on the adjacent house for the owner's daughter. They arrived early so we didn't want to take breakfast outside. The owner did apologise but that was the extent of his goodwill gesture to meet our disappointment. The Barn sleeps 8 but there was only one set of keys which was inconvenient.

“High quality accomodation in a beautiful setting within easy reach of many interesting places to visit.” We stayed over the Christmas week, my dad, sister and nephews in the downstairs apartment and myself, my husband and our 18 month old daughter in the upstairs one. Although we all spent most of our time either out or downstairs, it was good to have a separate upstairs living area so that we could retreat with our daughter at bedtime and keep somewhat to her routine. The accomodation is off a very high standard and the grounds lovely. The river is a only a few hundreds yards away and we woke to sheep directly outside our windows every morning. Although the owners property is within sight, we hardly saw them and did not feel at all 'watched over', in fact we only saw them at a distance to wave to but they made to clear to contact them at any time should we need to (we didn't need to). There is a small village close by with a few pubs shops at restaurants....the Indian take away was delicious), nearby towns include Oswestry and Shrewsbury, the latter in particular is definitely worth a visit. If you fancy driving further a field there are many really interesting attractions to visit. Would definite recommend it.

“Perfect for friends- and family get-away!” We (2 families with kids ages 6-11) had a lovely pre-Easter get-away at Abernant Barn. The property is a fantastic base for outdoor pursuits and the location a paradise for kids and nature lovers, with own river, fire pit and big fields to play on. The barn lies fairly secluded down a long drive with plenty of space for kids to roam freely. The newly refurbished barn is very comfortable, modern and equipped to a very high standard, well thought through for outdoor-indoor living. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge covered terrasse with jacuzzi, large open-space living room and slate floors with under floor heating. The kids enjoyed watching DVDs on the TV in the evening, whereas the adults enjoyed the music system. After being outdoors come rain or shine having a washing machine was also very handy. The kitchen has both fridge freezer and induction hob, microwave and big oven, though space around the dining table comes as a bit of a squeeze for 8 people. Lots of lovely food to be made for the adventurous cook including on the outdoors BBQ !! We got a Tesco delivery to the property, but there is also a very friendly little Spar in the village 10 min away by car. We saw lots of wildlife - including mink, pheasants, nesting nuthatches and even the red kites. Surrounding fields abound with horses and ponies, cattle and plenty of little Easter lambs to please the kids. Bernard was always very helpful and quick to respond to any question and queries both before and during our stay. We would love to come again!

“Beautiful Welsh Retreat” Travelled with my best friend as a treat for our birthday's. We booked Stable Cottage for 3 nights. There is plenty of room for two and the owners have thought of every little thing. The kitchen was well stocked. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Zero noise, long peaceful sleeps. Just loved it. Great base for visiting all the beaches/walks etc. We knew when we booked that the luxury hot tub was a shared facility and there was only one night that we missed getting in it. John and Hazel were amazing hosts and do such a wonderful job of settling you in. If you want peace and quiet then this is the spot for you. We would gladly return.

“The best mountain bike trip ever!” Accomodation - clean, informal, friendly lay-out, all mod-cons, TV, WfFi. Price - competetive, discount for large groups, great value. Food - excellent, tasty, filling, lunches were included. Hosts - Jay, what a guy, knows his stuff, trust him completely. Nikki, always there with a big smile, great cook, all round nice person. Richard, tail gunner, dependable, good laugh. Riding - Hard as hell but more fun that a barrel full of monkeys. In summary - enjoyed it so much I'm going back for more in a few months.

“Perfect.” Perfect barn, perfect gardens, perfect location. We were a young group of friends from mid Wales visiting for our friends wedding. The barn had everything we needed...and more! Perfectly equipped and finished to a high standard. Communication with the owners prior to our arrival and on departure was second to none and they couldn't have been more helpful. I would (and already have!) recommend this property to my friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting the area in the future.

“The perfect pet friendly holiday cottage and location” We have stayed here for the last two February half term holidays and have already booked for Feb 2019. It’s our most favourite holiday cottage ever! The cottage is perfect for us in every way: it is spacious, comfortable, dog friendly, toasty warm and feels like home in so many ways. It has everything we could need, and a whole lot more. I can’t honestly think of anything that we needed that wasn’t provided. The garden is secure for our two lively dogs, the downstairs shower room is perfect for washing them off after long walks on the empty beaches. The log burner gives instant and ferocious heat, perfect in February though to be honest with the underfloor heating we didn’t really need it. The location is ideal for local beaches, Marloes Sands, Musslewick Bay and Druidstone beaches are our favourites, all within 10-20 mins drive. In February we have them all to ourselves, even during half term. I can’t really comment on local places to eat, the Old Cowshed is a perfect hideaway from the world and we make the most of the peace, quiet and tranquility of the cottage and its surrounding area. Thank you Barbara for letting us enjoy your little slice of heaven every year!

“A comfortable, stylish and tasteful place in which to relax.” We were made very welcome right from the start by Janette and Steve. We were shown round the property and given a full explanation of the workings of the equipment. There was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates provided which we enjoyed once we had settled in. The property is very new, very clean and very well equipped. They seemed to have thought of everything. The bed was very comfortable. The upstairs lounge and balcony make the best of the lovely views. It is in the country but not far from the coast. It is just a pity there isn`t a local pub.
