“Beautiful holiday house in Beaumaris” Lovely holiday house, stayed in October with family including 3 young children. House met our needs perfectly, very clean and well maintained. Ideal location with easy walk to shops, restaurants, pubs, beach etc. Perfect for visiting Snowdon and well equipped for all our needs. Owner was very helpful would highly recommend.

“Peaceful, rustic charm with luxury” Wonderfully situated cottage with views of Tintern abbey. An excellent base to explore the Wye Valley, and the added attraction of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The cottage itself has everything you would need, and is tastefully decorated. Luxurious and comfortable bedding. Comfy sofas in living room and attractive dining room. Kitchen well equipped though we did have a few problems working out the oven (having accidentally switched it off, which we had been warned not to do, so our fault). The woodburning stove a real focal point and welcomed in the wild February weather! It was a bit of a pain having to remember (in our case write down) a code to open the door instead of having a key, especially in the pouring rain, but I suppose it is easier to manage than keys. My only suggestion would be having a small porch outside that door for weather protection as it is not pleasant punching in numbers to open a door with rain pouring on you. But I am perhaps being a bit picky and overall the experience was excellent, and we would definitely book again. Must also note charming and helpful owners, Malcolm and Fiona.

“Cym Irfon Lodge never disappoints” Gyles and Karen always look after us so well. As a group of cyclists, we go every year to cycle over the stunning local countryside. After a hard days riding, there is nothing better than coming home to Gyles & Karen's amazing dinners. Gyles cooks fantastic authentic Indian food and Karen does a mean breakfast to send us off with. Nuthatch Cottage is a great little cottage with a fire place, TV, kitchenette, dining table. Not that I have ever used it as their food is too good.

“Perfect cottage in the perfect location.” Me and my boyfriend visited this cottage the first week of April and can honestly say we had the loveliest stay. Although the cottage is small it’s perfect for 2 people and has everything you could need for a short break. The cottage is a stones throw from the town centre and the beach, truly excellent location.

“Beautiful luxury traditional cottage” Tyn y Coed is absolutely stunning. There were five of us staying for a birthday celebration and it ticked all our boxes and more. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to make your stay 'just like home'. There was a lovely little hamper on arrival (welsh cakes, bread, cheese and wine mmmmm) and there were plenty of condiments in the cupboards. Outside was the hot tub......a real luxury treat! We sat for hours drinking champagne (in the plastic flutes provided) watching the sun go down. It was heaven, even in a bit of drizzle! After the hot tub you can settle in front of the toasty wood burner in the living room......sooo cozy! The cottage is set in such a peaceful setting with only the sheep for neighbours. We watched squirrels playing in the trees, mice rustling in the hedges, an owl hooting in the tree and a blackbird calling for his 'friend'. I honestly can't praise this place enough!! Lisa, the owner, was also extremely helpful before the booking and I felt comfortable in contacting her if we'd had a problem (which we didn't). Top marks all round for Tyn y Coed and we all can't wait to book again in October for our next little visit.

“Ideal for couples” Lovely place to stay, and the hosts could not have been more accommodating and kind. As it was a winter vacation we didn't have the best of weather, but this ground floor apartment was comfortable, cosy, well situated and fantastically equipped. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and easy, and even remembered my wife's favourite wine. Highly recommended for couples, and it has easy access if you have mobility problems. In better weather the views of the bay and Gower would be great! Thanks again for making us so welcome!!

“Family vacation” We had an amazing stay with two of our children (7 and 10). The cottage is such a credit to the family, home like and cosy environment, will definately visit again when in that part of Wales in the future and recommend to anyone who appreciates comfortable and full of character environment whether it is for a romantic get away or family vacation. Ann was extremely helpful and attentive all the way through the stay even though there's nothing lacking at the property and there's a detailed list of instructions on how things work ans where to get anything you might need.

“Brilliant Vacation” I stayed at The Quayside in Cemaes ,Anglesey . I could not fault the Apartment location ,the overall upkeep of the Apartment was First class ,very well maintained and clean and tidy and felt I should have stayed a lot longer . The location is superb ,and is only a short downhill walk to the beach /Harbour . The Village is small and welcoming with pubs ,shops etc . I can only think of good things to say about the Quayside Apartment ,and the Cemaes village . Would I go again ? without any Hesitation !!
