“Lovely, well situated house amidst a beautiful are of Wales” The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. We wanted to climb Snowdon and were able to do so as we had little travel time to get to Llanberis. We also enjoyed visiting Anglesey on our long weekend. The scenery is amazing and this was a good base from which to explore. Just a couple of very minor points. It was a very cold weekend and the heating struggled downstairs... the heater in the lounge was situated quite high on the wall and the heat coming out just went up to the ceiling so we didn't feel the benefit. The other minor issue was with the shower and cold tap.. the water pressure seemed very low so we were getting a small amount of water at a time. These were minor issues though and we enjoyed our stay at this lovely house.

“Fantastic family holiday” We had a great weeks stay in Cockerel Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed including a dishwasher and washing machine...and little extras too such as fresh eggs and Welsh cakes. The cottage was really well situated for exploring the area and only half an hour from the coast. New quay was perfect for watching dolphins.Excellent hosts too.

“Great for large families” This place is truly a home from home. It has all you could need and more! We had a fantastic welcome from Susan and they were very helpful when we had a blip with the TV. We were 2 large families with 6 kids and there was plenty of space for them to play with the added bonus of the playroom on the top floor. The beds are comfy and the house is very warm. We had a lovely stay!

“Great location” Lovely cottage with great views. Everything we needed was provided. Close to a convenience shop and chippy. Lovely beaches a short walk away and lots of interesting places to visit a short drive away. Owner very helpful. One of the sofas could do with replacing / recovering but this may well have been done by now.

“Location, location, location!” We wanted to explore the Llyn Peninsular and the western side of the Snowdonia Nat Park so this was an ideal cottage. We had everything we needed including good weather! The Llyn has beautiful views, lovely beaches and coastal walks and, to the east, we walked to the well known Dorothea Quarry site which is just up the road. We explored the ruins of cottages and those of Talysarn Hall which is full of history. We had a day out on the Ffestiniog Highland Railway which was great. The most exciting day of the week has to be our visit to Zip-World and going down the mile long high wire, Velocity 2, which was AMAIZING!

“lovely house in a fab location” Myself, husband, 2 children and my mother stayed here for a week. The house was very well equipped with more than ample equipment/utensils. Lovely views from the garden and balcony and a great decking area at the bottom of the garden to enjoy the views of the countryside and sea. Rupert and Abida were very thoughtful in leaving a few supplies in the fridge (including a bottle of wine) !! Wiould definitely stay here again.
