“Repeat visit to a wonderful location” This was my fourth visit to 3 The Headland, which has become my partner's and my go-to destination for creative contemplation, solitude, and solace due to the extraordinary views and the wonderful coastal paths. My trip this time (just the dogs and me) was a little...unusual...due to the public health crisis. Sandown Properties' communication was very good however, and they had clearly accounted for government guidance at the time, with staff taking extra precautions to ensure guests' health and safety. I was able to spend five days in the flat, which was clean and well-presented as always. The weather was beautiful, but even inclement weather does not detract from the beauty and drama of the views. The setting was quiet and peaceful, as I have found it tends to be at this time of year. Of course, as the Covid-19 situation escalated I returned home early, but again communication and support from the rental company were excellent, and they were extremely understanding and compassionate during such frightening and challenging times. My best wishes and thanks to all the staff who took such good care; I am grateful that I was able to stay at The Headland and hope to be able to return some day.

“Tenby Stay” Great location, lovely apartment, great views of the harbour. Host made sure we had all the information we needed before we arrived and kept in contact to make sure we arrived safe and sound.

“Brilliant Barmouth” Not visited Barmouth for many years, but it was great to go back and stay in this perfectly situated apartment. The interior was very stylish and all we needed was there for our stay ! I even managed to cook a few meals from scratch. Beds very comfy and after a days walking and exploring it was so good to return to a cosy home!

“Ideal for couples” Lovely place to stay, and the hosts could not have been more accommodating and kind. As it was a winter vacation we didn't have the best of weather, but this ground floor apartment was comfortable, cosy, well situated and fantastically equipped. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and easy, and even remembered my wife's favourite wine. Highly recommended for couples, and it has easy access if you have mobility problems. In better weather the views of the bay and Gower would be great! Thanks again for making us so welcome!!

“Lovely apartment in a great location” Lovely spacious apartment, light and airy and well presented with everything needed and friendly hosts. the apartment is in a great location with walks straight from the front door or a 10 minute walk through the fields into Hay With it’s quirky shops and cafes. More serious walking in the Brecon or Black Mountains is around 30 minutes drive. Highly recommend for a relaxing break

“4Rhodewood house house” Absolutely loved the accommodation, everything you could wish for from a holiday let. Location, spot on for Saudersfoot and walking distance if yr keen to walk is doable for Tenby. Getting hold of the owner was easy. Will definitely return.

“Wonderful seaside apartment in a lovely area” We had a brilliant stay, the apartment is in a great location, towards the end of a quite no-through road (only sand dunes at the end of the road) and a quiet beach with a few people fishing or walking. There are 2 floors - bedrooms both have en suite and are based downstairs, and the open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge above the bedrooms. There is a nice big bay window with a view of the sea. The whole apartment seems new and modern with all the mod cons needed for cooking. We thought that being in an apartment with others around might have some noise but it's very quiet. There is a local shop and beach cafe, and the town of Pwllheli is about a 10 minute stroll. The beach here is nice and clean, and also very quiet and it's in a bay so the sea is very calm. The area itself is a great location for driving a short distance to numerous hidden-away beaches and coastal walks. We had a fantastic time and will be visting again next year.

“Just perfect!” My partner & I wanted to take my elderly mother back to Ruthin where she'd lived for 30 years. I thought it was going to be difficult to find somewhere accessible that would also allow pets, but Llety Maes Ffynnon was perfect! Mum has poor mobility, but the apartment was ideal for her as there was enough room for her to push her "walker" around and the floors were hard, not carpeted. She was able to shower easily and a perching stool was provided. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. There was a selection of DVD's, books and magazines, a play station and unlimited wifi. Gary and Carys had even put some milk and a couple of beers in the fridge for us. Most welcome after a four hour journey! The nicest part was being able to sit out on the balcony overlooking the park and lake. Each morning and evening we were visited by 2 swans and their 8 cygnets. They obviously know where to go for food! Llety Maes Ffynnon is ideally situated as it's only a few minutes walk into town and to the park. Ruthin is a great base for exploring North Wales, and it was lovely to go back. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Ruthin, and hope to return again one day

“We will be back!” The stay in the Railway Cottage in Taffs Well was superb! The apartment was very tidy, clean and cozy. Thanks to Rob and his nice family, our holiday was top class from first day on. They live next door but that's not bothering in any way and they answer your questions if you have any and try to help you out. The trains, that are coming trough nearby are not annoying and Taffs Well itself is a nice little place with a few supermarkets almost opened at any time. A very big plus point were the pubs in Taffs Well and both of them are very comfy and had great food like steak&onion-baguette and, whats the most important thing to me, REAL (local) ales! Great stuff! We were out walking every day, nice landscape, great weather. Make sure you pay a visit to Caerphilly and Tongwynlais. As big fans of the BBC Sherlock-Show with Cumberbatch and Freeman, we knew many filming locations were around the corner, so we visited a dozen of them, all reachable within little time. We went to Cardiff on three days (no problem e.g. by train) and were overwhelmed by this city. It's not too big and not too small, has many opportunities to spend the day, shop, eat, explore or just relax, like the museum, the park or the quay. (And my worlds favourite beer: Brains bitter!) So all in all it was a great stay and we would again like to thank Rob and his family (and their giant fluffy bear-dog) for this extraordinary holiday. “lovely big apartment, family attractions all close by” Stayed here during the summer with our 21 month old daughter. It was very safe inside for her to run around as everything on one floor. All the rooms were a good size, just a bit old fashioned. Our daughter slept in one of the single beds but the owner can provide a cot (& highchair). We didn't use the garden much as it was on a hill and we couldn't use the patio doors (our only complaint). But the area is very pretty & pinewood is very close to saundersfoot, the beach and other attractions such as folly farm & oakwood. Would recommend.

“Marvelous” In no particular order: Fantastic kid friendly beach Dolphins watching the 'Jamaican's' win the annual raft race light pollution-free night sky pub so close I can smell the beer excellent indian restaurant! And the flat was nice too... Are you not tempted?
