“Spot on” Just wanted a quiet relaxing getaway close to Betws y coed for the two of us and our little cockapoo. We weren’t disappointed, 250 yards to betws y coed centre, bars, cafes and shops. Golf course within walking distance, train within walking distance. Cottage small and cosy ideal for what we wanted with everything on site (towels, crockery, bedding etc) clean, warm and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend.

“Amazing location” Beautiful Welsh cottage, very homely and well equipped. The location is amazing, perfect for walking our dog. The views from the cottage were lovely, especially the back garden if you dare to go up the steep steps, its worth it! We were very lucky with the weather but imagine its very cosy in winter with the log burner. The neighbours & everyone you meet in the village were so welcoming & friendly. We ate in the Red lion all 3 nights we were there so highly recommended. And the cafe did fab coffee & cakes. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mark for letting out your quaint cottage.

“Niagra Lodge cabin” What an amazing place. The pictures do not do it justice we spent the Christmas week in the log cabin which we thoroughly loved!!! It was spacious very clean and a very cosy place to be over Christmas. The pool was very enjoyable for the children and the site also a lovely place with amazing views. Llangollen near by is a must to visit with lots of restaurants and shops, also the steam train and lovely river. Thank you for making our Christmas holiday home a magical one and we will definitely be staying at the Niagra lodge again in the near future

“Stunning cottage and stunning views” The cottage was immaculate, everything has been thought of. The views down to Red wharf bay are breathtaking. There was a welcome gift of barabrith and milk . So coffee and cake were the first thing we did. Had a wonderful week. Plenty to see and do.

“Exceeded Expectations!” My Mrs and I were looking for a quick getaway from running our business everyday and needed a much earned rest. Dafydd wasted no time in making us welcome and comfortable. Showed us to our lodge/cabin and I was totally stunned at how nice it was. He also put the heating on before we arrived so it was nice and warm. Dafydd also surprised us with a hot tub/lazy spa next to our cabin which was a real bonus! I would recommend staying here to anyone. We will definitely return for longer next time as we only stayed one night but Dafydd allowed us to have a late check out which was real kind of him. He also gave us a heap of information in case we wanted to go out for a drink and catch a train back and also informed us of local takeaways in case we didn’t fancy cooking. Thanks once again and we look forward to our next stay.

Llandaff daff village is very picturesque with excellent cafes and restaurants. Good river walks and green open spaces. The cottage catered for all ages from 4 - 70 and had everything you could wish for. Hope to make another visit in the future.

“Amazing views and amazing apartments” We booked both apartments for a group of friends and had a fantastic weekend. The main highlights of the place I'd say were the pool and the views. The pool was heated, and it was lovely to just spend time sat in the sun out on the decking. The views were beautiful (and if you're in the pool it feels like a infinity pool). It looks like Saundersfoot is a long walk but it actually only takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The apartments are nicely decorated. We spent most of the time in the bigger apartment. The kitchen area has sliding doors on to the balcony - plenty of room for us to relax with a glass of wine and have a chat while we cooked dinner. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I'd stay again.

“Excellent property” This lovely property is perfectly located and has a lot to offer both internal and external. The photographs don’t do it justice. It is tastefully decorated and has spacious rooms making for a comfortable stay. The garden is large and has a lovely seating area, barbecue and hot tub which is a bonus. Cemaes Bay is a great area, lovely village with easy walking access to coastal paths, riverside walks and community garden. Excellent value and very pleasant owner to deal with…..*****

“Perfect home from home in the heart of snowdonia” We had a amazing stay in this little house in the centre of Snowdonia. The house is located in a quiet little town with not very much going on, but a perfect location to travel and explore the regional attractions. There is a co op and some other small shops within a 5min walk from the house. Plenty of takeaways to choose from but I cant comment on the local restaurants as we did not visit any. The owner was very friendly over the phone and gave helpful directions and advise. The house is very nicely decorated and furnished and I would strongly recommend to couples and small families for a get-away location. Would stay again!

“So impressed and happy we've already booked 2018!!!!” Absolutely delightful property and location. Superbly finished with all facilities and amenities required for a break. Short stroll to the beach, shops, and all local dog friendly hostelries. Debbie, the host, is quick to reply and extremely helpful with all necessary details and information for the property and also the local area for places to see and visit.

“Great accommodation” On our arrival at 49 GHV, we were welcomed by a box of chocolates, Welsh cakes, fresh milk and an information pack which we felt was a very thoughtful and personal touch . On further investigation we found that there were also other Items such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate, which after our long journey was much appreciated. We found the accommodation to be homely, spacious, clean and very well equipped with all the essentials and more (They had even included things like beach chairs, picnic blankets, ice packs, toys, games, books and DVD's) to make our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. After our long days out exploring the beautiful Gower, it was a lovely place to return to, to relax ready for the next days adventures! We would certainly recommend this chalet as a lovely place to stay and found it to be in easy reach of all the places and attractions that we wanted to visit. It was also located next to a very well stocked shop, great chip shop and lovely pub. We had a truly fantastic holiday - Thank you.

“Charming cottage in Menai Bridge” Cleverly modified barn conversion. Welsh stone exterior with modern fixtures and fittings. Excellent base for exploring the beautiful island of Anglesey. Everything you need in this cottage, including dishwasher, washing machine, and the most comfortable bed we have slept in. The wine and flowers left by the owner was a very nice touch, especially enjoyed sitting in the beautiful and peaceful garden. We will definitely return!

“Little piece of home” Just returned from a short break at Rose Cottage and cannot wait to book again!! Spotlessly clean and everything you could ask for in a well presented, beautifully decorated property. Julian met us there and was able to recommend a fabulous dog friendly pub just a short drive along the promanade. We enjoyed lovely (somewhat bracing!!) walks along the seafront and the cottage is just a short distance from many local attractions. A little gem of a find is Rose Cottage and if you are lucky enough to book to stay there, you won’t be disappointed.

“Lovely retreat!” Lovey warm , cosy and modern accommodation , near to all amenities and beach. Everything you could wish for, for a 'home from home' stay at the seaside. Everything was thought about to make a very pleasant stay. Excellent instructions for use of gas and electric etc and info for the local area. Nice touch was a lovely welcome pack, which was much appreciated and thanks for the instructions about parking up the road near the church as finding a parking space in the town can be a bit of a challenge! Lovely walks locally for the adventurous or lots of local cafés to enjoy the breath taking views from the beach. Will definitely be going back, as need more time to explore.

“We will be back!” The stay in the Railway Cottage in Taffs Well was superb! The apartment was very tidy, clean and cozy. Thanks to Rob and his nice family, our holiday was top class from first day on. They live next door but that's not bothering in any way and they answer your questions if you have any and try to help you out. The trains, that are coming trough nearby are not annoying and Taffs Well itself is a nice little place with a few supermarkets almost opened at any time. A very big plus point were the pubs in Taffs Well and both of them are very comfy and had great food like steak&onion-baguette and, whats the most important thing to me, REAL (local) ales! Great stuff! We were out walking every day, nice landscape, great weather. Make sure you pay a visit to Caerphilly and Tongwynlais. As big fans of the BBC Sherlock-Show with Cumberbatch and Freeman, we knew many filming locations were around the corner, so we visited a dozen of them, all reachable within little time. We went to Cardiff on three days (no problem e.g. by train) and were overwhelmed by this city. It's not too big and not too small, has many opportunities to spend the day, shop, eat, explore or just relax, like the museum, the park or the quay. (And my worlds favourite beer: Brains bitter!) So all in all it was a great stay and we would again like to thank Rob and his family (and their giant fluffy bear-dog) for this extraordinary holiday. We will definitely be back in the near future, thats for sure! Cheers Laura and Paul, Germany

“Excellent cottage” The location is perfect for exploring North Wales which has lots to see. The cottage itself was perfect for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The owner had thought of everything including books and dvds. It was lovely to arrive and find there was milk in the fridge so we could have a drink, unpack and then drive to Asda, which was only 10 mins away to stock up on provisions. I can not recommend this cottage highly enough and will love to go back in the future

“Fantastic week away from it all” Where to begin...? the incredible ever-changing views, the inviting living area, the soft fluffy towels, the thoughtful touches from the owner (even our dog was remembered!), the comfy beds? We had a fantastic week here and looked forward to coming "home" (because it felt like home - not a holiday property) after a cold and wet day out. There are a myriad of lovely walks from the doorstep and although we explored somewhere every day, we feel like we have only scratched the surface. We very rarely go back to a holiday destination but were already talking about booking here again next year in the car on the way home. A perfect place for any time of the year.

“Tranquility and beautiful scenery” Thank you for a very relaxing break in your wonderful bungalow. Very well equipped, warm and cosy as well as extremely spacious. My dog and I spent many a contented hour in the conservatory watching the birds and enjoying the view. I also thoroughly enjoyed playing the piano. A delightful way to get away from it all and explore the local countryside. Gigrin red kite feeding was spectacular as are the reservoirs in the Elan valley. Unspoilt views and fabulous autumn colours all around. Lovely warm welcome from Del - thank you. Highly recommended.

“Wonerful accommodation and location.” Communication with the owners was fantastic and they kept us informed about everything. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The location was great for visiting Barmouth, Porthmadog, Portmeirion, Snowdon, Bedd Gelert etc. There were ample brochures and visitors information provided regarding eating out and places to see. I would recommend this apartment to others.

“Great Farmhouse, Roomy Clean Warm Friendly and amazing views” Great space and room. Wifi provided Well appointed kitchen. Nice and warm log burner and electrical rads meant rooms weren't cold. Really well provided for, eg umbrellas chairs, kitchen stuff fridges. Comfy beds and big beds. Good sized rooms too. Great price. Great that even in busier season we could book for the weekend only. Owner's communication before the stay etc was really good and reassuring. The snug is a cute room, we didn't use it much but would have done had we been staying longer. House is well finished and felt clean. Beautiful location and really close to show grounds. Stack of wood was amazing, we loved building the log burner etc! “Thoroughly enjoyable break” Spent a short break with our granddaughter. The holiday village is lovely and peaceful and well maintained. The cabin was in a great location and we spent one day on the woodland wanderer train from Porthmadog which was good value for money and the second day at coed y Brenin which is just down the road and has many walks/ nature trails and cycle paths. Barmouth is also nearby and we found a lovely pub with a great out play area for young children in Taly Bont called Ysgethin Inn. The cabin itself was spotless and the kitchen had everything that you needed. The sofa was very large and comfortable and there was a good fire for heat and a fan to cool down. I would certainly stay here again if we were to have a break in Snowdonia.
