“Beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, dog friendly cottage” What a find! We absolutely loved staying in the Owl. Tracey and Geoff made us feel right at home from our very first telephone conversation until the day we left (although we didn't want to leave!) Beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, dog friendly cottage. Tracy - the scones and cake were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the personal touches were amazing . We were given great advice on what to see and where to go and fell in love with Cornwall. Why haven't we been before??? We will be back for sure.
“Outstanding” The Court is a beautiful really well appointed one bed cottage with its own private garden plus access to a lovely lake to relax and fields for dog exercise. We stayed for a week and have already booked to come back next year. All of the extras provided by Tracy and Geoff make your stay extra special. The welcome pack, the home made cakes when Tracy has been baking!, fresh eggs etc etc, we were made to feel so welcome and our dog absolutely loved it. The location is really convenient for some stunning walks and blessed nearby with pubs and restaurants serving great good and frequently welcome dogs with a biscuit or treat. Can't wait to go back

We had a fantastic stay here and were made to feel so welcome! Our hosts went out of the way to ensure our pets were catered for - lending us blankets so our dogs could even sleep on the sofa! …
HOUSEKEEPER'S - Romatic One-Bedroom Real Cornish Cottage: Sleeps 2+1
Absolutely everything about this place was amasing.
Penny and Justin are lovely warm hearted hosts that will do their upmost to ensure you enjoy your stay without being overwelming, couldnt ask for better hosts.
The local area is fantastic and we know it very well, there is so much to do and see weather you travel 5-10 minutes or an hour.
The cottage and surroundings along with the animals are nothing less than stunning and we will be returning, the only thing we didnt like was the fact we hadnt tried Tremaine Green sooner!
Thanks again for a wonderfull stay and we will see you in May! …
The Court at Ashen Cross
We had a great time and were well looked after by Tracy and Geoff, dogs, cats, ducks, sheep, chickens and fish at the lake house. Loved sitting in the Lake house with a very well stocked honesty fridge chilling to tunes. Every little thing was thought of. I can't recommend a stay here enough. Loads to do around and about. …
The Owl at Ashen Cross
We arrived in the afternoon and Tracy (the owner) could not have helped us more, she was there to welcome us. She showed us around and was delightful in all her dealing with us during our five day stay.
The owl which is a two bed room cottage was really well looked after and had all the facilities we needed for our trip. The cottage has cooking and dish washing facilities which makes things so much easier. Theres a TV and DVD player and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Outside is a barbie and Tracy provided us with a loaf of homemade bread and six eggs laid by her own hens upon arrival. Later in the week she baked us a lovely cake which was much appreciated.. The shower was excellent and powerful. Over all the cottage is nicely presented, clean and with everything you would need for your stay.
There was a fishing lake where you can either fish or feed the fish if you wish and a delightful duck by the name of Doris that live there. Doris is friendly and will soon come to see you in the hope of getting some free food when your at the lake.
I would certainly recommend this cottage and would definitely go back there again myself at some stage …

A Cosy, clean, cottage full of character.
in a tiny village with a old parish church nearby and a beautiful walk down to a nearby cove the terrace cottage is 17th century that has been tastefully modernised in the right places, the bathroom and the kitchen.
The bedrooms and the sitting room have a cost feel and are warm in cold autumn nights.
We loved staying there.
The narrow single roads around the area take a bit of getting used to,but you will soon be driving at local speed!
When we went we had perfect weather even though it was in the last week in September. …
