“Excellent” Great holiday home. Spacious and comfortable.
Kids were well entertained by the playroom when it rained and the trampoline and basketball hoop were well used after trips to the beach.
The American fridge with ice cold water and ice on tap was cool

“Lovely, comfortable cottage, great location.” Accommodated us at the last minute, our 3 year old loved it and enjoyed playing in the garden! Pub in easy walking distance, St Michael's Mount and St Ives nearby. Beautiful views
“A wonderful cottage to explore south and west Cornwall” Hazel's cottage is what we needed for a 7 night stay. It is very tastefully decorated, clean and has everything needed for a holiday.
Cozy and bight living room with a nice view, very comfortable beds and nice bedding. Kitchen has most utensils one may need and enough cutlery for a family of four.
Parking is just in front of the cottage. Hazel was kind enough to drop by to help us with the hot water setting.
The location is great as it is away from the crowd but close enough to cover all attractions of the region within a 30 min drive.
We had a wonderful stay and look forward to come again.
“Idyllic retreat” We have rented numerous cottages in the past and this is our second holiday in Cornwall. Carnaquidden Barn is by far the best and we will have no hesitation in using it again in the future. From the moment we booked it back in March up to our arrival the communication from the owner John was excellent with details, directions and any other information we required. On arrival we were greeted with a food hamper and a personally written greeting post card. The barn was well furnished and very clean with everything we needed from wetsuits to fresh bedding to a lovely soft selection of towels for every guest. The master bedroom has a modern en suite,a further bathroom with shower serves the other bedrooms with another toilet downstairs. The barn is in excellent decorative condition. It is in a lovely quiet location and is ideally situated for St.Ives,Landsend,Mousehole and many more locations to visit. A welcome folder gives you all the information needed for your stay. This is a superb barn and we will definitely be back.

The School Room @ The Old School House
Loved our stay here, the room is private, nice and clean so comfortable and cosy, has a dining area and a fridge/kettle. Bathroom area is spacious and clean. Kate is a brilliant host brings breakfast basket to the room everyday, fruit and croissants with orange juice and cereal. Kate was always welcome to give advice on places to visit. …
MV Ocean Warden
Loved MV Ocean Warden. The best B&B we have ever stayed in. Location is great for the bus and train stations and getting around the far west of Cornwall (we were primarily walking the SW coast path). Also a great base for cycling with NCN 3 going past the door and plenty of space to store the bikes on the deck. Breakfast was all set out each morning and was very generous. Great place to relax on the deck and watch the world go by. Roger and Sue were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. …
Bayview Cottage Penzance
Wonderful location and comfortable base
Bayview Cottage is a revelation once you climb the stairs to the lounge/kitchen upstairs area. Cosy, well equipped and relaxing topped off with a cracking view across the bay at St Michael’s Mount and Penzance harbour. Plus a little outside viewing area where several people can sit in comfort and enjoy the view.
Downstairs there are three bedrooms (one en-suite) and a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and generously furnished with thick bedding. One of the most comfortable nights’ sleep I have experienced when staying away from home.
This is a great base from which to explore this lovely part of Cornwall. The cottage is walking distance to train and bus stations. We did not have need of the car in practice.
There are some nice spots to eat locally. We quite enjoyed the Longboat pub and restaurant which is a short walk from the cottage. Very friendly service.
Overall, highly recommended. …
I would have appreciated a good reading light in the lounge.
We couldn’t find, in all the materials, a map of Penzance.
Visitor’s book needs to be redone......falling apart.
Any information about recycling newspapers, etc?
PLEASE do something about the front entryway! Musty-smelling, unsightly, poorly lighted, and dirty. It could be so attractive with a good cleaning, treatment of damp, and a coat of paint. VERY uninviting. When I stepped in I thought, “What have we gotten into?” only to find the nice accommodation upstairs. …
Kenegie Manor Lodge
Lovely Manor House
Good location although not easy to walk to a beach. Grounds were kept lovely although the pool area was very small and always smelt of food. Apartment was very good although if you are two couples the second bedroom very small and bathroom not that big. Few things need attention I.e hot water tank toilet etc and there could be a few more cooking dishes etc. Also an up to date book with current appliance instructions. Eating recommendations, local area spots etc. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. …
