“Super house in a spectacular location” Helen House is a spacious and immaculately presented townhouse located high up in Fowey overlooking the river. It is worth staying there for the views alone. The house easily accommodated our party - Lynn, Paul, Rebecca, Steve and Hannah and is well equiped with TVs, DVD players, games consul, Wi-Fi and reading matter - you wouldn't ever get bored there. Fowey itself is a very pretty little place made up of narrow streets (some on the steep side) full of old pubs, eating places and interesting shops. Fowey is perhaps not the cheapest place ever but, equally, not by any means exorbitant. Closeby, you have Polperro, Looe, Mevagissey, St Austell, Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Overall, this is a fabulous part of England yet, somehow, you don't feel like you are in England. Go there!
“A luxury home away from home” My family and I stayed at the Old Watermill for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. The house is beautiful and equipped with everything one can possibly need to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the time of booking to the end of our stay, the owners Bill and Carole provided excellent communication and hospitality. The house manager, Caroline, does an excellent job in keeping the mill spotlessly clean and in tip top condition. We fell in love with the charming and picturesque town of Fowey, which is home to a variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops whilst retaining that traditional Cornish village feel. The location was ideal for the many day trips we undertook to explore Cornwall. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Old Watermill and would not hesitate to return.
“A wonderful house in a great location.” This is our second trip to Lantic which is beautifully furnished with everything that you could possibly need for a great holiday. Our young children felt at home straight away. Fowey is an idyllic destination and Lantic is in a great position for walking into town or to the beach at Readymoney. Lantic has views to die for and we will be returning again!!

Luxury converted Watermill in Fowey, Cornwall
Beautiful holiday house near Fowey Cornwall
This is a really lovely converted Mill House near Fowey in Cornwall. It has been restored to the highest standard and is extremely well appointed. We were 8 adults and 2 children 10 and 8 and 2 toddlers and 1 baby and there was plenty of room for all. Oh yes - 2 whippets as well! The garden was perfect for all to run around in and there is a lovely pond which kept the children amused. There is also a toddler fence so the 2 year olds were safe while not being supervised in the garden. We had amazing weather for Cornwall and so were out of the house a lot at the beach. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we all loved the range. We ate in every night because of the small children and really enjoyed preparing the meals in the kitchen/dining room. For us the only comment would be that it was quite a long way from Fowey. I had imagined it was a bit closer and walkable but this was not possible with the children and dogs. That is no fault of the house though! The owners have done everything they could to make the house extremely comfortable and we had a wonderful week with all our family. …

The cottage is very well equipped and clearly well looked after. The location was perfect for us, the village pub was good and we could drive out to visit all the lovely places in this part of Cornwall. The parking at the cottage was fine for our car which is always a plus point!
