“Sea Wood sanctuary” Just returned from an amazing short holiday in Cornwall at Sea Wood, Millendreath / Black Rock beach resort. It was our first domestic holiday with the little one in tow...
The villa was immaculately clean and kitted out with modern furniture to a high standard. It had everything we could possibly need, washing machine, fridge, freezer, massive TV with sky and BT sport perfect to watch the Europa cup final. Louise, the owner of the villa was extremely helpful and always available for any enquiries. Yes there are steps to get to the villa but it is well worth it! The views from the huge terrace are amazing. One direction is the beautiful Millendreath beach and to the other is the seemingly endless woodland.
Millendreath / Black Rock resort itself is a beautiful secluded beach, it has a modern shop, cafe / restaurant and bar. Water sports are available from the beach. Low tide reveals the true beauty of the beach with rock pools galore and sea a walk to Looe.
Looe is lovely harbour town with a great mix of local independent charm and familiar high street establishments.
For the picture perfect Cornish village we would definitely recommend a visit to Polperro just ten minutes down the road. The Three Pilchards beer garden is worth the trip up the steep steps!
We were very lucky with the weather in may, but we had such a great time in Cornwall we have already decided on a return visit. Whilst we were there we saw so many things we would like to do that it might be a return visit every year!!... but one thing is for sure the perfect base for our return trips will be Sea Wood villa!
“Lovely Holiday” We had a lovely holiday & very much enjoyed our first visit to Cornwall. The accommodation was very nice, comfortable & well equipped. The location itself worked very well for us & was well placed to visit such places as Looe, Hannafore Point, Polperro & Towey (where a visit to Quay Bakery for a Cornish Pasty has to be a must as it was delicious & well worth the steep walk down & back to the car park). Hopefully we will return in the future.
“Wonderful apartment” We recently spent a few days in this Cornwall apartment it was so lovely everything you could ask for and more!!! Clean and beautifully furnished and great setting. Tracey was very helpful and responded to emails very quickly. Cannot wait to go back fur another visit
“Sea Salt Villa” Wow.....the view is amazing, as is the villa...your every need is catered for...even down to the dog bowls being supplied.
You need to walk your dogs on a lead, but there is a woodland minutes away and although the beach is no longer dog friendly, there are some beautiful dog friendly beaches, just a short walk/drive away.
I would highly recommend Sea Salt Villa any time of the year as the view alone is worth the trip.
We will be returning.
