We stayed in 'The Studio' for a week with our 2 dogs and wished we'd booked to stay for 2 weeks. The views are simply stunning, even on a rainy day, and we had direct access onto the beach at Sennen Cove where even dogs are welcome (before 8am and after 7pm in the summer). Each of the properties are finished to an incredibly high standard and you can chose any size of property to suit your needs. Ours was a large studio with beautiful slate floors, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had a fantastic wet room including washing machine. We even had a small garden, although not totally enclosed for our inquisitive terriers who managed to escape to chase the rabbits, but the views from the patio are incredible, especially at sunset. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and as there are only a few properties it felt like we were holidaying with family and it was so peaceful. We can't praise the area, properties and local people highly enough and we settled in so easily and were sad to return home. Don't hesitate to book any of these properties and you won't be disappointed with your holiday. … see more

A little bit of heaven in Vellandreath

Sandpipers is a wonderful property in an amazing location. We have stayed in many good properties in Cornwall but this is the best! It is tastefully furnished and well equipped . Vellandreath is a very special little valley leading down to Sennen beach. The view from the living room window is fantastic. Watching the sun set over the sea is a wonderful experience. Basking Shark, Studio Cottage With Superb Sea Views By Beach
Absolutely fantastic!

Unbelievably beautiful location! A little steep walk down but once there you wont want to leave! You have everything you need on your doorstep! Views are absolutely stunning. What is better than waking up to the sea! A minute walk down to the beach. (Dog bin on route-extreamly handy) A ten minute walk across the beach when the tide is out or on the coastal path to the local pub. Which we highly suggest you stop by. Days and nights are incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Basking Shark cottage has a view looking right out to sea from where you relax on the comfy leather sofa and from where you sleep in a bed you wont want to get out of. Get your binos out to spot some seals and dolphins known to swim by with total relaxation on your sofa. Facilities are outstanding with everything you could possibly need for a self catering short or long stay. Do take up the offer of tractor luggage service. Cook any meal, wash and dry your clothes with total ease. Note:it has the cutest of baths so if you are rather tall dont expect to lay down without bending your legs, being 5.4 I didnt have trouble though. Constant hot water so your baths can last for longer whilst listening to the sound of the sea. The wifi signal from the cottage is excellent and reaches pretty far-if you can tear yourself away from the view! Underfloor heating worked very well and we never went cold even on a blustery night. Such a lovely spot to wind down in outstanding beauty. Brian the caretaker was so kind and accommodating. Gladly stand and have a chat anytime of day with him.
