“Home from home” Stayed at Lower Hedge Farm for the weekend. Fabulous place to stay. Plenty of room for all ages and the dogs, we had 3 with us. My grandchildren had the games room to play music as loud as they wanted we didn't hear a thing. Everything you need is there and more. Very warm and cosy with plenty of hot water. The aga in the kitchen was great to cook on with an electric cooker if you needed it. Very clean and a nice gesture of a basket of local cider for us on arrival. Although we didn't need to call them the owners were available at the end of the phone. It was a special birthday weekend and the farmhouse was the ideal setting for a relaxing enjoyable family get together.
The location is made for those who truly love being in the heart of the countryside. At the far end of the garden lies a wonderful sweeping view of the nearby hills and vales. You can take your dog too (with a full drinking bowl waiting on the porch)!
This is a sweet, well organised and cosy retreat. It's quiet and friendly with a kind and thoughtful welcome of divine home-made jam, marmalade, bread and cake..................if you want to get away from it all for a while, this is for you.
However, make sure you get good directions because you'll need to navigate the labyrinth of lanes once you leave the main road. …
This apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Situated in a tucked away position in Shepton Mallet it is very quiet (apart from chiming church clock!) and in extremely good order. I chose this location because of its proximity to Bath (1/2 hour). Shepton itself is not great but food shopping within easy walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. …
Amazing! Throughly enjoyed staying here.
I stayed here for the weekend with my boyfriend and it was perfect! We were greated with shortbread and cider on arrival. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Facilities were excellent, kitchen was well equipped, there was sky TV including cinema and a blue tooth speaker in the sun room. We spent plenty of time in the hot tub which was lovely and clean. The cottage is also nice and secluded so you can enjoy privacy whilst in the garden. We visited the sedum spa which was tranquil and relaxing and enjoyed a whole morning there to ourselves in the pool and sauna. Throughly recommend, we did not want to leave! …
