“Large house in pristine condition, perfect for a hen party/weekend with friends” A group of 17 of us stayed here for a weekend celebrating a hen party. The house was immaculate. The owner was easy to contact and checking in and out was made very easy as he lives next door. The house is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Bath and there is parking for approximately 6 cars on the driveway. We would definitely recommend it.
“Girls crimbo market break” The apartment was of a very high standard it was situated in a great place only few minutes walk to town.
The owner Sarah was very prompt in responding and helpful.
Would highly recommend plenty of room for 4 adults and hope to book again in the near future.
Bonus can pay a small fee for parking permit once parked never had to use car again and after a while day shipping nice to return to a comfortable warm apartment.
“The Perfect Weekend Away” The Admirals House provided us with the perfect weekend away in Bath. The house has such character and personality, with lovely spacious, well decorated rooms. The facilities were fantastic and all well looked after. The location was ideal and allowed us to see the wonderful sights that Bath has to offer.
The booking process was very simple and we were made to feel very welcome and at home and we look forward to staying in this fantastic property again!
“Spacious, clean, perfect apartment in Bath” Norfolk Green met our needs perfectly.
We were more than happy with the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort.
The kitchen was very well equipped, had we wanted to cook a meal.
The bed was luxuriously dressed, spotlessly clean.
Marks communication was excellent, before, during and after our stay.
Study the map carefully and you will realise that most of Baths attractions etc are within a good ten minute walk.
“A little piece of heaven!” A wonderful weekend stay at a beautiful location. Kate and Paul were wonderful hosts, very helpful and the apartment was laid out wonderfully. There was a welcome pack of fresh juice, bread, butter, condiments, tea/coffee. Plenty of towels and a lovely comfortable bed. We couldn't of asked for more. It was about a 15 minute walk into town and a 5 minute taxi ride back. We would definitely return to stay again, Bath is a wonderful city!
“Beautiful apartment home from home.” Dan made everything easy right from the start ... booking, regular contact and very professional. We stayed as a group of hen ladies wanting a trendy apartment beautiful decor and central apartment . Broad Street house ticked all the boxes perfect ! Many thanks for a wonderful stay in Bath.
“Great Weekend in Bath” We had a great time at 3 Powlett Road. The house is ideally situated and an easy walk to the city centre. The parking is easy and the house is lovely and had everything we needed. Mark, the owner, is very helpful and even asked what kind milk we wanted. We would definitely recommend.
“Great self-catering property for visiting Bath” I was visiting as I was attending the Bertinet Cookery School for a week. This is a great place to stay for a visit to Bath. Free parking, bus stop right outside which takes you straight into the middle of Bath in 10-20 mins depending on traffic, a week's return ticket for £10! Very quiet, very clean with lovely furnishings and and incredibly comfortable bed. If you want a great place to stay, very convenient for Bath but you don't want to pay extortionate Bath prices then this is the place for you.
“Brilliant base for a weekend in Bath!” Small apartment but immaculately clean and homely with all the necessities like cooking utensils, bin bags etc.
I would absolutely recommend this place and would return if staying in Bath again.

Relax in The Secret Gardens, sleeps 5
A fabulous home
We loved our stay at The Secret Gardens. It really is tucked away secretly between other houses, but once you’re inside you find a unique home that’s a pleasure to stay in. It rained pretty much the entire weekend we were there but we didn’t mind staying inside in such a lovely space. …
Broad Street House
A lovely house in a perfect location for shops, restaurants and pubs. Would definitely recommend.
Only negatives are it was very loud at night due to no double glazing and lots of pubs/ clubs nearby .. also the seagulls woke us up! Only other thing is there is no WiFi …
Luxuriously furnished Bright Spacious 1 bedroom Barn Flat with Outdoor Hot Tub
Perfect Weekend Retreat
I booked this as it was a little weekend getaway for my wife and I was looking for somewhere close to Bath with good public transport links, near good places to eat, that accepted dogs and had a hot tub! (not much to ask )
When I looked at Street View on Google it looks a bit odd, don't be put off, the Barn is set slightly back from the rest of the road and isn't your run of the mill house!
The owners Kate and Andrew are lovely people, we were made to feel very welcome, and the flat was ready for our arrival and was very clean and tidy.
It is well appointed and a welcome pack of various items were provided including butter, jam, tea, coffee, bread, eggs. This was most welcome as it meant we did not have to venture out immediately for supplies. There is also a Nespresso machine for use which was nice as this is what we use at home, I wish I had bought some of my favourite pods with me!
There are obviously supermarkets nearby including Waitrose, Lidl and M&S. We found Lidl was quite easy to get to and there is a pets at home on the same retail area.
It’s important to understand that you are sharing a space which is someone’s home and so you are going to come across each other from time to time. The flat is completely self-contained although joined to the main house at one end, we did not experience any noise at all and felt as if we had complete privacy at all times. The hot tub is available for use and is just across from the flat (robes and sandals are provided).
The garden is large and wraps all the way around the main house, there is a walkway to the fields at the top of the property where you can see some stunning sunsets, its also great for dog walking.
There is a pub nearby which is walking distance (The Hare & Hounds) we were hoping to go there for dinner, however be aware that it is VERY popular and so book early to avoid disappointment. We couldn’t get a table and so we went to the Old Crown in Kelston (2.5 miles away), it was lovely and the food was superb.
There is also a bus stop outside the Hare and Hounds pub which takes you into Bath, the buses run regularly until around 8pm when they change to about every 30 mins, we did try to get into town on the bus however they seemed to be running late and then they did arrive they were full and so didn’t stop! We went back and got the car.
Parking in Bath as ever is limited and can be a bit of a pain so if you can, take the bus or an Uber.
Overall this is a lovely property, it has been finished to a very high standard and looks amazing, clearly a lot of love and attention has been paid to all the details even the lighting at night around the property has been well considered.
Thanks Kate, we may well be back again soon. Warm Regards, The Days. …
The Old Sweet Shop, 3 bed 16th century cottage, Batheaston, Bath
Great place to stay when visiting Bath
We had a great time staying here. The old sweet shop is a wonderfully individual house with a nice garden.
Lovely touches, like bread, milk and wine from the owners.
Would be happy to recommend it …
We had a lovely time at Mulsanne House celebrating friends' special birthdays. It's a short hop in to Bath either by taxi or water taxi and the village itself has plenty of lovely pubs for a nice evening meal. We ate at the Bathampton Mill which was very good. This is also where you pick up the water taxi for a leisurely trip into Bath, with great commentary from the captain on the way. It's just a very short walk from the house.
The house itself was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for us all. Lots of outside space too with a comfortable sofa and chairs in the garden for an afternoon tea or lunch. The beds were very comfortable.
The only thing that we thought could be improve upon was the dishwasher which isn't great. Apart from that the answer to the question 'would you stay here again' would be a definite 'Yes'! …
Newbridge Holiday Let in Bath sleeps 24
Beautiful, big house for
I rented this property for the weekend for my friends hen party. We had the most amazing time! The accommodation was beyond perfect. Every room was clean and spacious, and there were more bathrooms and mirrors than a big group of ladies could ever need. It was great to be able to cook for lots of people and for us to all eat together at the huge dining table. The kitchen served as the perfect bar, and the ladies were so happy with their bedroom choices. Was a great help that there was a coffee place and small shop around the corner, parking for plenty of cars, and that the town center was a short 10 minute (max!) drive away. I can’t thank the owner enough for being so accommodating (with a late check out and greeting us on arrival), and kind. Would definitely book again and highly recommend! …
