Well we certainly aspire for better than that!
- the property is 500 years old and so we have to work with what we have. There simply isn't room in the kitchen to fit a full sized oven and extraction.
- The bath is described in the cottage description and we do provide a jug so you don't have to do any acrobats in order to wash your hair.
- I am very sorry you found the wood damp, we are always more than happy to sort problems out so you could have popped up and swapped it. The heaters were on thermostats set low, it costs a lot of money to keep them on high and usually this is enough to keep the ambient temperature up.
We are very sorry you felt only to give us a 3 bubble review. Thank you for your comments though.

Rowan Cottage
Great cottage
We have just spent a week at Rowan Cottage and had a lovely stay. Although a little Victorian end of terrace our party of 5 found it spacious and comfortable. We could park two cars at the front; and the cottage is set back from the road, We approached from a pretty garden which makes it feel like being in the countryside. The interior was clean, comfortable and we had all the equipment we needed.
We ate out in Glastonbury most nights (we were on holiday) and would recommend; Who’d have thought it, Hawthorns and GiGis but when we did cook we had everything to hand and good appliances. Having a washing machine we could use was an added bonus. The little courtyard is enclosed and safe with seating for the sunny days. We walked to the Tor from a footpath just along the road in about 30mins via footpaths and back lanes. Glastonbury, Wells and Street are close by and the cottage was the perfect location for visiting the area. Thank you …
